983 The Trapped Princess

Dark Oracles were Murlocs, and the drop rate of Enchanted Sea Kelp was quite low. However, their respawn rates were above average, so Azure Sea Breeze could tank groups of them at a time while the AoE attackers wiped the monsters out.

After grinding for around 10 minutes or so, they found what they needed.

Lu Li then summoned a small boat, which was the same one that they had previously used to get to the island. The boat could not hold that many people, so Sesame Rice Ball only brought two other people with him, then summoned a portal for everyone else to follow.

This island was previously inhabited by humans, but the Naga had taken over and claimed it as their territory. It seemed like they were guarding something.

Rumours had flown around, but no one knew the truth behind them. Alcaz Island used to have a small Human village. This village had an underground tunnel system, which was most likely where the secret laid.

The shore was inhabited by Hydras, which were either summoned by the Naga or had existed prior to their arrival.

Lu Li and his party were attacked by the Hydras as they pulled onto the beach. These monsters were higher than level 50, so the ones who were attacked had nearly no HP left.

Everyone panicked, activating skills that decreased damage-received and healing abilities. Hachi Chan also activated her Enhanced Tranquillity, so the three of them successfully made it onto dry land.

If the Hydras had called for the Naga, things would have been unimaginably horrifying. It was fortunate that after they had landed on the shore, the Hydras had ceased their attacks. However, they were still screeching after, so it was wise to not dawdle on the beach.

They then found a suitable place to erect the portal, which a 20-man squad walked through. If the Nagas had come now, they would just be free Experience points.

"Man, these monsters are weird."

They looked like snakes, but had human features at the same time. Apart from their strange appearance, their attacks decreased speed as well. For melee players like Azure Sea Breeze, these status ailments were torturous.

"Alright, alright. Aggro is good to go. These monsters drop good stuff," Lu Li said, trying to motivate Azure Sea Breeze a little.

"What do they drop?" Now everyone was curious.

"Recipe: Elixir of Detect Lesser Invisibility. After using it, you will be able to detect people in Stealth. These Naga have a good drop rate for these recipes. With Remnant Dream's luck, we should be able to find one," Lu Li explained.

"There are items like that?" Everyone was excited.

Elixirs could not be used in the arena, but there were no rules against them in the wild. This elixir would be the most useful for spell-based classes, as they were easily countered by Thieves.

"It's not 100% every time." Lu Li had to tell them the truth.

Thieves were known as 'Dawn's Stepchildren'. The game company would not release items that would work 100% against Stealth. These Lesser Elixirs were extremely limited in their use; high-levelled Thieves would render them useless.

Although Lu Li had dampened their hopes a little, they were still extremely keen.

The squad made quick advancements into the centre of the island. A broken altar stood in front of them, with the Naga and Murlocs roaming around the area as guards.

It could be said that Lu Li had benefitted greatly every time he had encountered an altar. After all,

his ring was upgraded thanks to them.

There were no other altars that were of help to him anymore. However, Lu Li was still hopeful that there was still some way out there that had the ability to upgrade his ring.

He could go back to Malfurion. After all, he did not believe that there would be another ring on Malfurion's fingers that was of Legendary grade.

"Clear out the surrounding monsters first. Remnant Dream, remember to loot the corpses. The drop rates here are higher than the ones from before," Lu Li instructed, then looked at the time, and summoned his own monsters to help clear.

"I'll go pull aggro," Her Tears offered, deciding to help Azure Sea breeze.

The other Tank classes also followed suit. After the barrage of attacks from the AoE offensive classes, these monsters were cleared extremely quickly.

The recipe that was dropped was given to Sesame Rice Ball. His Alchemy levels were extremely high, so he could learn Recipes as soon as he got them. He already knew how to brew Lesser Stealth elixirs, but now he could brew the opposite.

After this, they placed the Enchanted Sea Kelp on top of the altar. After a short while, a Sea Giant appeared.

This was a level 48 Boss, so the 20-man squad made quick work of him.

After the Boss died, Lu Li's party then received the Quest Item, which was the Hand of Dagun.

The three quests were now completed and the items were relayed to Gerrig Bonegrip in Ironforge. However, the questline was still not over. After giving the items to Bonegrip, he would give them a book called 'Yagyin's Digest'.

According to the Digest, Lu Li and his party headed towards Arathi Highlands and arrived at Drywhisker Gorge.

After passing through Kobold territory, they reached their destination. This gorge was extremely large and silent, with dense vegetation and a small river that ran from the mountains, forming a waterfall. At the end of this waterfall was a large pond.

The Iridescent Shards that they had to find were located in a cave beside this pond.

During Lu Li's previous life, the game company had increased the quest difficulty, with many Rockjaws roaming the area. These Rockjaws were able to use Stealth, and could also stun their enemies.

However, Lu Li's team faced no difficulties as they came to this large crystal which had many cracks in it.

Lu Li grabbed Yagyin's Digest and began chanting over it. Then, the crystal showed a person's face, but because it was fragmented and cracked, they couldn't make out who it was.

"My name is Myzrael. I am a princess of the earth, and my captors, the giants, have trapped me deep beneath the Arathi Highlands. These crystal shards are the only way I can speak with the surface world. Brave adventurers, please help me…"

"And you're underground?" Hachi Chan did not seem like she believed her. After all, it was hard to imagine who would such a cruel thing.

"That's right. I've been here for many moons. Will you please rescue me? I will reward you all abundantly," the face said as it twisted in pain.

"How do we help you?" Hachi Chan asked.

"You must destroy this crystal to release me. The Drywhisker Kobolds, the allies of the Giants, dwell to the east side of this Gorge. From them, you can obtain motes of Myzrael. You need to obtain twelve of them and place them here. After you have done this, I will be able to return to where the sun shines.
