672 Dirty Play

The Whirlwind stopped and so did the Warrior; his giant axe raised backward to block the dagger that appeared out of nowhere. The dagger touched the axe briefly, but Lu Li had already been revealed.

The audience went wild – regardless of their skill level, they could all tell how good that block was.

It like a cutscene from a Kung Fu movie.

"Caught you!" the Warrior roared as he Charged at Lu Li.

With such a short distance between them, he was certain that he could hold back this number one Thief.

Once a Thief was dragged into the battle tempo of a Warrior, it was only a matter of time before their defeat.

Sixty percent!

His estimate of his winning percentage rose again – once his Charge hit, Lu Li wouldn't be able to turn the tides, even if he had a Badge.

It was true that Lu Li didn't have the time to escape. Even if he used the special effects of his equipment, he still wouldn't be able to make it. He could only use the Badge to remove the Stun from the Charge.

As soon as the Badge removed the control effect, Lu Li immediately tried to use the special effect from Wirt's Third Leg to escape.

Trample!

The Warrior's skill combinations were well used; he Stunned Lu Li again and casted another Whirlwind.

Two Whirlwinds...

Elevenless!

Lu Li immediately recognized who he was fighting against; it wasn't a secret that Elevenless had two Whirlwinds. The audience could tell who the Warrior was too.

Elevenless was the top Warrior of Wings of Dawn and held his own among even the best Warriors in the game.

His win-loss ratio was 987 victories and 24 losses.

Many of the audience members from the arena knew of him. However, he had worn a mask today and didn't use any signature moves until just then.

Now that he used his trump card, his identity was no longer a secret.

A new question was placed before everyone – who was this Thief who could battle against Elevenless?

Anyone with decent eyes could tell that Elevenless wasn't having an easy time; he was even at a disadvantage in the beginning. Elevenless had half of his health bar left, while the Thief had only lost a fraction of his.

The second Whirlwind landed on Lu L, dealing 200 damage. The range of Whirlwind was quite large and Lu Li was Trampled on the spot, so he could only stand there and take the damage.

Special Effect 2: Strengthened Skin. Damage taken reduced by half, lasts 6 seconds, cooldown 2 hours.

Six seconds was enough for him to make it through Elevenless' Whirldwind. Lu Li took four hits, which under usual circumstances, would be around a thousand health points for him. However, because of the damage reduction, he only lost 600 HP and still had around 2000 HP remaining.

Lu Li didn't run this time; he used Shadow Strike on Elevenless who had already stopped.

Elevenless could stop his Whirlwind at any time, but no matter how fast he was, there was no way he could react to Lu Li who had already been waiting there. Lu Li tanked the damage of his Whirlwind to cast this Shadowstrike with an 89% completion level.

Stunned for one second!

Shadowmeld, Stealth, and then another Cheap Shot...

Elevenless felt his heart sink slightly as he also activated his damage reduction skills.

His damage reduction wasn't as strong as Lu Li's, but he was a Warrior, so his health and defense was better to begin with anyway. He wasn't too worried about Lu Li ending him with a round of skills.

Elevenless was also a Berserker.

The less health a Berserker had, the more damage they dealt.

Elevenless' strategy was to wait until his health dropped to a certain percentage. Once he had the special effect from being at low-HP, he would be able to deal a percentage more than his usual damage. This effect lasted for thirty seconds, and also meant that every attack was three-times Critical Strike damage.

Of course, Lu Li was familiar with Berserkers – Moonlight had similar skills too.

There was no way he would stop attacking because he was afraid of Elevenless' damage. His attacks were even more frenzied than usual as he casted his skills endlessly on Elevenless. Even if Elevenless used his damage reductions skills, they wouldn't be of much help.

In the end, Lu Li used Slit Throat as an ending skill.

Just this shot alone dropped Elevenless' health from 23% to 14% - unfortunately, it wasn't good enough to one-shot him. Lu Li now had to face the Berserker who was now dealing three-times his usual damage.

Lu Li still had around 2000 HP left, so he wouldn't make it past the fourth hit.

"My turn, right?" Elevenless laughed recklessly. He had been holding back for so long and it was finally his chance to shine. This was the passionate moment for all Berserkers – you push yourself to the edge and fight with all that you had.

"You enjoy yourself," Lu Li said as he flung a skill at Elevenless and backed away as if he used Flash.

This was the special effect from Wirt's Third Leg – Special Effect 2: Wirt's Fake Leg, Instant Cast. Leap forward or backward by 8 yards. 120 second cooldown.

"My movement speed is boosted to 300%," Elevenless said spitefully, about to lift his legs and chase after him.

Then, he noticed that Lu Li had gone into Stealth and disappeared. With Lu Li's technique, he probably would have been gone from the spot as soon as he went into Stealth. Even a master gamers might not be able to drag him back out.

"I just need to keep my health like this. No matter how long you drag out the fight, there's no use, and I'm immune to all control skills." Elevenless was very confident in his ability to win.

He felt like the match conditions were favorable to him; Lu Li's escape made him look down on him even more than ever.

"Check your health."

It seemed like Lu Li was moving around as he spoke so that he wouldn't get caught.

Elevenless was confused, then saw his health bar slightly bounce.

He had dropped 40 points of health, but still had more than 900 HP remaining.

"What is this – is he trying to frighten me? Wait, that's not right!"

Elevenless suddenly remembered something and quickly checked himself, only to find that there was a curse on him.

Son of Arugal's Gift: Cast. Curse a target, causing it to lose 100 HP every 5 seconds for 300

seconds.

Elevenless was a Plate class, so he had a considerable amount of health regeneration and decent resistance in the first place. As such, the damage of the curse was reduced to about 40, but it was going to occur sixty times. That was equivalent to two thousand health points.

"My ***, you ****! So shameless," Elevenless cried out in desperation.

He knew what Lu Li was trying to do; he was certain that Lu Li was going to stay in Stealth and tire him out with the curse. Players were banned from potions in the arena; you could only rely on your own skills or equipment to regenerate health.

With the amount of health that Elevenless had left, no matter how good his regeneration, he would still eventually die to the curse.

It was hard to believe that such dirty play would be found in a match between celebrity players. No wonder why Elevenless was upset – especially because he could deal 300% damage.
