1739 Enhanced Holy Nova

Remnant Dream was a little slow at looting the corpse. She was no longer as excited as before when looting. Furthermore, it was only Anub'Rekhan, who was an Entrance Boss. This wasn't the First Clear either, so the chances of dropping something good were not high at all.

"There's a bunch of rocks. None of them look pretty," Remnant Dream said.

"Actually, that's not bad. We'll throw them in the Guild Storage. There should be many people who can use them."

Lu Li knew that the rewards this time wouldn't be great, but everyone else's standards had already been raised.

There were a few with Legendary gear, while virtually everyone had full sets of Epic items that had been carefully selected.

"Eh?"

Remnant Dream handed the rocks and rare materials to Lu Li and went back to loot the body, but suddenly stopped.

"Why is there something like this? Enhanced Holy Nova. This is an Enhanced Skill Book for Priests."

Holy Nova was a skill that ignited the area around the caster in an explosion, dealing large amounts of Holy damage to surrounding enemies within 12 metres. At the same time, it also healed any surrounding teammates' HP. This was one of the few skills that dealt damage and healed simultaneously.

There were two main Priests in the team – Star Baby and March Rain. Both of them could use their guild points and compete for the book.

Of course, Lu Li wasn't going to make the decision to give it to March Rain, as that would be too rude. Furthermore, March Rain didn't have as many guild points as Star Baby. Their personal relationship was quite good, but neither were willing to let this go.

Even though March Rain's guild points couldn't match Star Baby's, she could still keep bidding for the book, forcing Star Baby to take the book at a high price. If she did this, then Star Baby wouldn't be able to compete for the next valuable Priest item.

Star Baby used 180 guild points to purchase the skill book. Surprisingly, she wasn't angry about buying the book at such an exorbitant price, but seemed overjoyed.

After learning the Enhanced skill, she also gained a unique effect. When she used the skill, a shield would surround her body. This shield would absorb damage that was similar to the level of the skill. All the other Priests were envious.

If it was learnt by another person, the unique effect would be different, even if it was the same skill.

Taking Blink as an example, Unforgettable Maple's unique effect when using this skill transformed his body into a small bat. This would allow him to more easily dodge skills. However, Fat Monkey's unique effect with the same skill provided him with a knock up effect upon landing.

It was difficult to say which one was better or worse. However, it was clear that Unforgettable Maple had a defensive unique effect, while Fat Monkey had an offensive unique effect.

Even so, Anub'Rekhan still dropped some worthwhile items. Gold and Dark Gold items aside, the first Epic item was the Cryptfield Silk Cloak, which was a Tank item. Because it was better-suited for Warriors to use, it was taken by Azure Sea Breeze.

The second item was the Gem of Nerubis, which was a secondary weapon for Mages with decent properties. It's main point of attraction was that it was a Mage item.

The third item was the Desecrated Bracers, which was part of the T3 set that Warriors and Thieves could use. Unsurprisingly, there were a bunch of players competing for this. Thieves and Warriors were both popular classes. In the end, Lu Li managed to buy the item using 145 guild points.

"Do you want it? I'll give it to you," Lu Li offered in his message to Water Fairy.

He was using a T2 Bracer which gave a bonus skill level to Slit Throat and provided him with an additional escape skill. Furthermore, there was also an Assassin effect, so it didn't really matter if he swapped it or not.

"Really?" Water Fairy was shocked.

Lu Li was someone who was always calm and collected and didn't act impulsively. She didn't think that he would give her an item that both of them could use.

"Of course I'm for real. Would I lie to you?"

Lu Li immediately handed the item to Water Fairy. Drizzle Court also had talented tailors, so they didn't need March Rain to craft the Bracers.

"I'll give my old one to you then. It's better than the T2 one," Water Fairy said.

A trade sounded good. Although Lu Li was quite satisfied with his T2 Bracers, he wasn't stupid enough to reject her. It was his girlfriend who was giving him the gift. Even if it was the worst present possible, he still needed to have a face full of joy and surprise.

Astri's Despair (Epic): Armor 120. All Stats + 100. Critical Damage +30%, 3 Slots. Special Effect 1: Detection +20. Special Effect 2: Escape. Teleport in a range of 15 metres within the caster's line of sight, 2-minute Cooldown. Cooldown is not shared with other skills of the same type. Special Effect 3: When Stealth is lost after receiving damage, wearer gains a magic-based shield which absorbs 1500 damage. Level requirement: 60, Durability: 280/420.

He had to admit that Water Fairy's item was better than his own. The Assassin effect on the T2 Bracers was pretty much useless in PVP and Instance Dungeons, but the magic shield could be used to good effect. After all, it was a skill that didn't have a cooldown.

The triggering effect was the wearer losing Stealth due to an attack. It provided a 1500 magic damage shield, which was enough to tank two skills from a Mage.

This skill would come in handy in desperate situations to turn the tables.

Astri was a Wild Boss in the Badlands which was difficult to tackle. Because of the ferocity of the competition over it, Ruling Sword had already given up a long time ago.

Lu Li immediately switched out his old T2 Bracer for this one. Because Water Fairy's Bracers weren't completed yet, so Lu Li gave his own Bloodfang Bracers to her.

Bloodfang Bracers (Exquisite Epic): Armor 100. Agility +120. Constitution +80. Lethality +35%. 2 Slots. Special Effect 1: Slit Throat +1. Special Effect 2: Escape. Teleport in a range of 15 metres within the caster's line of sight, 2-minute Cooldown. Cooldown is not shared with other skills of the same type. Special Effect 3: After successfully killing a target, wearer gains +20% Attack. 10 second duration. Can be stacked. Level Requirement: 60, Durability: 400/400.

"Damn! Looking at you two everyday makes me want to get a girlfriend of my own," Azure Sea Breeze cursed.

He was already tortured enough by the Boss. Now even his own captain was inflicting emotional pain on him. No matter how high his defence was, or how powerful his items were, they couldn't defend against emotional pain.

"Desecrated Wristguards. Paladins, Hunters, Shamans. Druids," Remnant Dream called out as she looted another set item.

"No one objects to giving it to Innocent Child, right? I'll take 100 points guild points from him," Lu Li said.

No one objected. These four classes weren't too popular. Mu Qiu and the rest of them were already satisfied, and didn't have many guild points left anyway. Furthermore, Lu Li had deducted 100 guild points from Innocent Child, so everything was fair.

This was a T3 set item, so obviously Innocent Child wouldn't say no.

His role in the team was to heal. He would also keep an eye on the Secondary Tank's HP. With the inclusion of Innocent Child in the team, the power of the combined forces of the three organisations was slightly raised.

Under normal circumstances, the team would have two Priests, two Druids, and a Healing Paladin as healers. The reserves would also contain other Priests and healing Shamans.

Then, Remnant Dream looted the last item of the day.
