1598 The Anger of a Pet Owner

Strictly speaking, Rexxar wasn't a Hunter. He could only summon pets, but his original skills leaned more towards a Berserker.

The two axes he was holding charged forward and flung into the group like a whirlwind.

It wasn't only hunters who idolised Rexxar – the Warriors did too.

This was especially so of the Warriors in the Horde. Apart from a small number who were confused about being a Saar role, many people, after witnessing Rexxar's ferocity, made him the spiritual Berserker leader in their hearts.

Although it was already night, Longspear Valley wasn't actually too dark. The slight glow of the crescent moon shone on Desolace, while the stars were blinking high in the sky.

However, when the flashes of white light from the players dying shone, the mountain valley lit up like day. Even Lu Li lifted his hand to shield his eyes. It wasn't that he was trying not to look, but that this scene was simply too dazzling.

In one fell swoop, at least 30 of Glory Capital's players were killed.

This was thanks to the club's famed battle awareness. The players tried to split up their positions as much as possible. Only a few were hit by the wave of skills.

"Main Tank, warriors, go on up. The others, pull out," West Whitehill said.

Everyone was scared out of their wits, but this reaction was still not enough. West Whitehill knew that a Boss of this calibre couldn't just be oppressed by brute force. All they could do was to try and minimise their losses as much as possible.

"Killing my people, attacking Misha, and most importantly, waking me up from my sleep?! How did you have the guts to do that?" Rexxar roared angrily again, raising high his axes before fiercely chopping down at where the players were. All the players who were in the line of attack except for those who had high defense or who activated up their Damage Reduction in time, were completely wiped out.

"That's powerful, simply too powerful!" Lu Li thought to himself as he watched on, dumbstruck.

Lu Li knew that Rexxar was amazing, but he didn't know he was this powerful. After all, in his previous life, Lu Li had only heard rumours on posts describing this guy.

At the time, there were a lot of busybodies who were recording the valiant NPCs of Dawn. Although Rexxar wasn't ranked at the front, he was generally considered to be around Jaina's position.

Now, Lu Li believed. He couldn't not believe.

To protect his own life, he was starting to search for anywhere he could to evade Rexxar.

Rexxar didn't notice him at all. Perhaps in the eyes of this mixed-blood half-beast, everything in front of him was just rubbish. And since everything was rubbish, then he didn't care if Lu Li was part of the alliance or an NPC. Anything that was rubbish had to die anyway.

Lu Li didn't want to die – at least, he didn't want to die now. As long as he didn't die, Glory Capital would still have a slither of hope in completing the quest.

Although West Whitehill let everyone escape, he had made some dual preparations. He was still commanding the Main Tank to go and block the Boss. From his point of view, as long as the Boss was pulled and they could keep resisting, there was still hope.

"Give it back!" Rexxar roared as he stomped heavily before running 100 yards away. With his gaze, he was able to cancel the Hearthstones of players on their return journey, who were then teleported right next to him.

Finally, hopelessness began to permeate into everyone's hearts. It looked as if even escaping was hoping for too much.

"Work with them!" West Whitehill said, gnashing his teeth, then shouted, "Focus fire on that bear! Even if you can't kill it, you still have to kill his pet."

Lu Li still maintained his stealthy movements. It looked like there was hope of survival. He tried as much as possible to stay within a 100 yard radius of Rexxar. In this position, the wave of skills couldn't reach him, and he also wouldn't be pulled back, which would be the case if he escaped too far.

Glory Capital's people wouldn't be so chicken like Lu Li.

Their courage had already been spurred on by West Whitehill, as if they had firmly made the decision to finish off Misha, while also letting Rexxar get a taste of some personal pain.

Perhaps it was exactly because of his pet's dire situation that led to Rexxar entering into such a worried state.

He went berserk!

A non-Berserk Rexxar was still able to kill people in one shot, but a Berserk Rexxar was able to one-shot anything – the sky, the earth and everything within. In this extreme time, the few hundred people remaining had been thoroughly wiped out and the whole team was dead.

Lu Li still maintained a distance of 100 yards from Rexxar, no more and no less.

After the battle ended, it turned out that Rexxar didn't attack Lu Li, but actually, in a great rush, leapt before Misha. He carried her on his back with great love, rushing hurriedly deeper into the mountain valley.

Before Rexxar had arrived, the Mauler had lost half of her HP. Afterwards, she was attacked with focus fire, so she was certainly damaged quite heavily.

"Quickly come in and go to work. Make sure to get around stealthily; the Ogres here can't be fought with force. If you get discovered by an Ogre, don't resist either – just die straight away. Don't go and save them. We're going to pick up equipment. I think the Ruling Sword people are coming back really soon," Lu Li notified Buggy, waiting for people to enter Ogre territory. They had entered the mountain valley ages ago; it's just that they were lingering around the centaurs.

"Got it Lu Li. Be careful yourself," Buggy said after receiving the note, the immediately brought his people to come in.

A Wild Boss battle didn't have worse returns than an Instance Dungeon, but they needed to compete with others. This sort of competition had overtones of danger, but it also had overtones of a good harvest. The equipment left by the losers would become an extra reward for the victors. Sometimes, it was even more plentiful than the reward from killing a Wild Boss.

Although today's battle ended in defeat, no one knew that Glory Capital had lost their whole team here.

Glory Capital only had to send a group of Thieves here to minimize their losses. After all, everyone present was level 60. After you died at this level, you wouldn't lose experience.

One core Elite group, four Elite groups as well as some professional players had died here – a total of over 500 people. Such a huge, gleaming field would make it difficult for people to breathe when they saw it.

In an excitable mood, someone accidentally attracted the Aggro of the Ogres and was immediately surrounded

Because of Lu Li's previous reminder, everyone turned their heads, averting their gaze from their little friend's helpless eyes.

The attributes of these ogres were very high. Whoever looked down on them had too much confidence in themselves and would have to pay the price.

There were other fellow players who made the same mistakes. They had to go through this rhythm of picking up the pieces of this great army before they stepped onto the right path.

It was another Thief who had been killed. Buggy raised his voice and shouted, "We told you to be more careful. How did you die again? You didn't bring your brain to work, did you?"

"It's not an ogre!"

The thief couldn't speak after he died, but the text message was quickly sent across.

If it wasn't an Ogre, then what was it?
