Chapter 361 - Ways

Chapter 361: Ways

Time flew by.

The silence in the selection area was suddenly broken by the sound of tearing of space, and it soon took the form of a portal.

Lily then stepped out of it, and just like yesterday, she found Aakesh wasn't waiting for her.

"Hey, system, bring my chair," Lily then asked the system out loud, using the same tone Aakesh used.

The system didn't say anything in response, but the next moment, her chair appeared in the selection area.

Lily jumped on it and comfortably sat on it. Her wait for Aakesh then began.

One second passed, two seconds passed,...thirty seconds passed,...three minutes passed,...five minutes passed, and just like that, seven minutes passed.

Finally, the silence got broken again, as a portal similar to the last one appeared.

Aakesh stepped out of it and found Lily waiting for him on her chair. A gentle smile spread across his face. He then requested the system to bring his chair too.

Just like yesterday, both of them began sharing their experiences in the training.

It was Lily's turn first. She told him about how she didn't train physically today, but she asked the help of the Epochal Felines regarding the ruling, as they were creatures born to rule.

Lily wanted as much help as possible to start her own Kingdom in Panagea.

After Lily concluded her experience for today, Aakesh began sharing his story. It started from how he defeated his opponent, and then the growth in the second training round, and finally the battle in the fort.

The timeline of the ruler stopping the soldiers and other higher-ups from defending continued today. So, Aakesh and the ruler fought several battles today.

Aakesh wasn't able to draw or win, but he still felt satisfied with the battles. As the last battle he had fought had continued for ten minutes, marking it the longest fight.

It also took around forty seconds when he got his first injury in the battle, showing his quick rate of growth.

Unfortunately, the benefit of battling the ruler without much effort came to a stop. Before killing Aakesh in the last battle, the ruler had informed him, he would have to reach that part of the war on his own from the next battle.

After Lily and Aakesh had shared their experiences, they both disappeared from the selection area and appeared in the store. Soon, the chairs also followed them.

Aakesh's chair returned to the store, while Lily's chair returned to the system.

Since their training had been done, now it was time for them to enter Panagea.

The door of Aakesh's room appeared in the air, and soon stairs connecting it to the floor also appeared.

"See you tomorrow," Lily said and jumped up the stairs.

Soon, the door automatically closed down. The stairs disappeared, and the door also followed it not long after.

Aakesh took a step forward and went to the portal room.

His eyes first fell on the leaderboard, and seeing another addition on it, he nodded.

He then touched the closed portal to him with just the tip of his finger. The next moment, a force stronger than anything he could face appeared and sucked him in.

After disappearing from the store, Aakesh appeared in the same place he had left yesterday.

Aakesh then decided to check his status.

The next moment, a blue screen with golden fonts appeared in front of him, containing all his details.

Personal Status:

Name: Aakesh,

Race: [*****],

Gender: Male,

Lifeform: Rare,

Class: Watcher,

Level: Level 43,

HP: 3300/3300,

Energy: 2760/3300,

Physical attributes:

Strength: 331 (+110),

Agility: 331 (+110),

Intelligence: -0-,

Endurance: -0-,

Comprehensions: Hand fighting (100%), Archery (100%), Swordsmanship (100%)...

Skills: Wolfbane, Ability-Learning, Universal-Eye, Fortune-Eye, Element Immunity…

Aakesh nodded after seeing his status. Yesterday, he had gained two levels, using the combination of the skills, Universal-Eye, and Fortune-Eye.

It was also the reason that he didn't have his full energy.

He then thought of the status screen disappearing, and soon it dissipated into nothingness.

Aakesh then decided to search for another lucky person, as his nearest goal in Panagea was to reach Level 51 first and become an Epic-level lifeform.

There were two ways for him to reach the goal. Complete the quests that reward levels, and the second using the class, Watcher.

The Watcher allowed Aakesh to gain easy levels, but at the same time, it was time-consuming. On the other hand, completing the quests would get him level gains at a quick rate, but the difficulty was also similarly very high.

Aakesh was only Level 43 now and could fight and kill beings up to Level 55, but when that exceeded the level, the battle became difficult to win. If the opponent exceeded Level 60, even survival would depend on his luck.

In the around two days he had spent here, he had already seen thousands of Level 80s, so Aakesh decided to go with the second way.

Even though it would be time-consuming, it would still be safest, as Aakesh could only select beings up to ten levels above him, so fighting and killing that level of person wasn't a task worth talking about for him.

Thinking like this, Aakesh decided to go to the cheapest market of the city, as only there he could find the people up to Level 55.

It wasn't very far from him, but only a few miles. So, it didn't even take him a minute to cover that distance.

Like Wolfden, he couldn't jump on the roofs of the store, as there were Level 80 guards surveying the area. If anyone dared to break rules, they would take action right away.

Aakesh found an overcrowded area and went there to have the best chance to find what he wanted.

After reaching, he first activated the skill, Universal-Eye. The next moment, a real-time 3D projection of the radius of eight yojanas(1 yojana= 8 miles).

Those who exceeded his level by more than the difference of ten levels were greyed out, while those who fulfilled the requirement were colored in blue.

Aakesh activated the skill, Fortune-Eye, not long after.

The next moment, a golden projection containing the people inside the radius of one yojana around him appeared in front of him.

The skill consumed a large amount of energy, so Aakesh didn't waste any time and began to look out for what he wanted.
