Chapter 179 - (1)The Top Three(5)

Chapter 179: The Top Three(5)

Four six-color energy balls attacked the four Primary directions at the same time.

"Crack!"

"Crack!"

"Crack!"

The next moment, the sound of something cracking rang in the area.

Before Maria and the Hygar could understand what was happening, the space around them started breaking into shards, and a few moments later, the shards disintegrated into nothingness.

"WHAT?"

Maria and the Hygar shouted at the same time in shock after seeing someone standing in front of them.

The being had the same appearance as Maria. She also had the same energy print, so the Hygar himself couldn't differentiate between them.

The only way he could recognize her queen was that the impersonator had no link with him, which actual Maria has due to the system of Necromancy.

The impersonator had an even colder expression than Maria as she sized up Maria and the Hygar.

The next moment, she extended her right hand, and in less than a nanosecond, a black energy ball appeared in her hands.

She then simply flicked the energy ball in the direction of Maria.

Before Maria could understand what had happened, the Hygar pushed her down.

The next moment, the energy ball passed through where her head was a moment earlier.

"Summon the warriors, my queen. Otherwise, we would die," The Hygar, with a trembling tone, told Maria.

The impersonator didn't mind Maria dodging. She repeated the same process, but this time tens of black energy balls the size of tennis balls appeared floating above her hands.

As if blowing dust from her hands, the Impersonator raised her hands in front of her mouth and lightly blew some air.

The next moment, all the energy balls flew in the direction of Maria.

"O fratrus oswolem!"

Maria didn't wait for the energy balls to come at her like the last time. She chanted the incantation required to summon her undead warriors.

Millions of purple magic circles appeared on the ground, and undead started emerging out of them.

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

The next moment, continuous sounds of explosion rang in the area as the undead warriors clashed with the black energy ball.

All the other undead, other than the Hygars focused on the energy balls, while the Hygars rushed in the direction of the Impersonator to take the direct battle.

The leader Hygar spread his wings and flew while the rest of the Hygars would battle on the land.

"Damn it!" Robert cursed as he punched the emptiness in frustration.

"Eh!" He exclaimed in confusion as he felt he had punched an unbreakable wall.

"Is it an energy wall," He murmured as he waved his hands, but his hands moved easily.

He tried to punch again, and he faced the same feeling of hitting an unbreakable wall.

"Interesting!" He smirkingly commented as all the frustration he had been feeling until now disappeared.

He knew he needed to destroy the energy in front of him to get away from this shitty place.

He opened his mouth wide enough to swallow an orange in whole. Energy began gathering in front of his mouth.

It transformed into a giant white energy ball in less than a second. It wasn't the end, as the energy ball released a pure white energy beam that struck something in front of him.

It was the skill, Dragon Breath, that Robert had used. He got this skill as a reward from one of the black dungeons.

The next moment, the sound of cracks rang in the area as the space around him started breaking into shards and then disintegrating into nothingness.

***

"Boom!"

The sound of an explosion rang in the area as both Eris's attacks and the Impersonator's attacks collided.

Eris freed himself from the bound space in the same way that Maria did. In frustration, he released an attack that cracked the space in front of him.

He didn't even know for how long he had been in battle with the Impersonator.

Since there was no sun and moon here, the time stayed the same every time, and he didn't have the leeway to count the time since the Impersonator was very strong and didn't even give him the time to think of an attack.

***

Only Eris, Robert, and Maria weren't in a fight against the Void Beast in the gold dungeon.

Elasha and one more participant were fighting against the Void Beast, while George and Evelyn were currently searching for the enemy in their respective dungeons.

Only these seven participants were left alive, still fighting for the top three positions.

***

The Void Beast that the participants were fighting against wasn't at its full power.

The system created their virtual clones in such a way that they could only use 25% of their power, and the system had also chosen the weakest of the Void Beast.

The Void Beast, the participants were fighting against, didn't have an actual body. Instead, it was a mirror body. Since the Hygar was a servant of Maria, the Void Beast looked like Maria to him. Otherwise, it would've looked like himself to him.

***

"My queen, heal me," The Hygar requested Maria as the last attack had disintegrated five of his six heads.

"O ftaute rouratu!"

Maria nodded and chanted an incantation.

The next moment, a black light engulfed the Hygar, and in less than a second, he became the same as before facing the attack, while Maria's head became wet with sweat since the spell took a lot of energy.

"O taurtar turtalur!"

She ignored her exhaustion and chanted another incantation as a black light engulfed every undead in the area.

Since Maria had used a buff spell, the strength and agility of the army got boosted at the same time.

She knew she couldn't give up here. She had to fight till she even had an ounce of energy left. After coming this far, she couldn't think of stopping for even a second.

She would also attack the impersonator from time to time, using the random skills she had gotten from the dungeons.

Despite fighting several Hygars at the same time, the impersonator didn't look injured at all. It looked the same as it looked when Maria appeared here.

Maria wasn't the only one fighting with everything she had. The other participants also were fighting with the same intensity.

While the crowd enjoyed the last phase of the event, they couldn't keep their eyes away from these participants for even a second.
