Chapter 157 - The Event

Chapter 157: The Event

Aakesh ignored the reaction of the crowd after the portal appeared and started announcing the details of the upcoming event.

"It is a portal to another dimension-" Aakesh announced while pointing at the space where countless clusters of shining stars were moving.

"I knew it!" The man who had spoken about the portal shouted and cut Aakesh's announcement in between.

Before the crowd could react to Aakesh's and the man's statement, a cold voice rang in the store that shuddered every single sitting person irrespective of their level.

"I hate when someone speaks in between me. If something like this happens again, you will be responsible for whatever happens with you," Aakesh warned, emotionlessly looking at the man who had disturbed him.

The next moment, his tone returned to the previous version and continued his announcement, ignoring the reactions of the man and the crowd.

"It is a portal to another dimension, but it isn't the dimension you're thinking. It is a portal to an artificial dimension where today's event would take place."

"In the event, all the participants would enter the portal and travel to a dimension solely made for the event."

"After entering the portal, every participant would return to their power levels before they started cultivation and would have equal power irrespective of your race's advantage."

"Inside the portal is a world solely intended to increase your level so that you can eventually defeat the villain of the portal..."

Aakesh continued announcing the details of the event.

In the dimension, there were countless mini-portals, and each mini-portal led to a new world for each participant. Each world had the same features so that every participant would have an equal chance of competing.

Inside all the worlds, there would be more mini-portals, and each portal would lead to dungeons. These countless dungeons were for the participant to defeat.

Each dungeon would have creatures of different races living inside. It depended upon the participant's luck, which creature's dungeon they could get. They could even come across the dungeons filled with Hygar, or they could get dungeons filled with low-level races.

In every dungeon, there would be a leader of all the creatures residing in it. After defeating the leader, they would automatically get an increase in their power, and they would also get a red egg.

The red core would grant the participants random skills, weapons, and other random items. If their luck were to be horrible, they would get nothing from it, and if it tended toward the extreme positive, the participants could get the knowledge of a complete battle form embedded in their heads.

There would be portals of seven colors in the world participant would get. They were Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue, White, Black, and Gold. Green represented the weakest of all, while the gold represented the strongest dungeon.

The participants would have to increase their levels, learn fighting knowledge, get weapons, pills, skills using these dungeons, and in the end, they would have to challenge the golden dungeon.

There would be only one golden dungeon in the world, and there would also be only one creature in that dungeon. That creature would be the leader of all the creatures located in the world and the end boss. Only when the participant defeated the leader would their challenge for the reward of the event be successful.

The crowd had shocked expressions after Aakesh stopped speaking.

Even for Immortals, it was almost impossible to create an artificial dimension, and here Aakesh had created a dimension solely for the event that had countless worlds inside it. Even thinking about the scale of Aakesh's creation gave a headache to everyone in the crowd.

The next moment, the look of shock on everyone's faces turned into excitement after hearing what Aakesh said next.

"Since it would be the only event for today, the event would have three winners and three rewards," Aakesh announced.

He then snapped his fingers, and the next moment, three virtual projections appeared in the store.

The difference between the three projections was evident, as the virtual projection in the center was blue and was around twice the size of the yellow projection on the right, while four times the size of the green projection on the left.

The green virtual projection looked to be the projection of a town. Above the projection, the area of the town appeared. It was 11,000 sq. miles.

There were several golden marks on the projection, representing mountains, rivers, and mines, while there were also red marks, almost ten times as many as the golden markings had appeared around them.

Like the green virtual projection, the yellow projection also looked like a town, except it was much larger and had an area of 22,000 square feet. Miles.

It had more golden points in the projection, whereas the number of red points was smaller. Additionally, there were several white markings in the area, unlike the previous, which suggested settlements of different races.

The blue projection in the middle, which was the largest, was the projection of a city, measuring 51,000 sq. miles.

The blue projection has five golden marks for every golden dot in the yellow projection and every red mark for five red dots in the yellow. The white points that signified living settlements covered almost a fourth of the land.

And unlike the yellow and green projections, there was an orange dot in the center of the blue virtual projection, and only three question marks were in place of it instead of announcing what it was.

Everyone in the crowd had confused expressions when the three projections appeared except Pento.

Aakesh had told Pento that he would do something about territories in Panagea in the upcoming days. Now, Pento finally knew what plans Aakesh had.

He couldn't help but suck in a cold breath of air, seeing the resources in all three territories. He understood that red points signified the dangers of the territory, but even in the green projection, where red markings outnumbered the golden markings, there were still good enough numbers of resources marks that it would put small kingdoms like the Bisan Kingdom to shame.

He knew if he won even the lowest reward of the three, he would become more powerful than the actual Kingdom he belonged to since everything in Panagea could be taken out in reality. Even he knew this event was going to see a crazy number of participants.

The crowd had the opposite reaction of what Pento had. They confusedly looked at the three virtual projections floating above the platform. Many in the crowd even had disappointed faces after the projections appeared.

After seeing the virtual projections, they could clearly understand that they were some kinds of territories. But many of the beings who were either Tao Manifestation or above it, any kind of territory held no value for them.

They came here because they felt they would get an opportunity that could make them grow in power, and after hearing about the rewards of the events in the last two days, confidence erupted in their hearts. But now that they were here, there was going to be only one event today, and the reward they were getting was territories.

Their disappointment was also caused by the fact that the event Aakesh planned was something they could only imagine. They had never even witnessed anything of such a huge magnitude in their entire lives.

Aakesh could see the disappointment in many of the people's faces, but he didn't care as he was confident that after they knew the value of the territories, they would even risk their lives to win the event.

"It would be the reward of the event. The winner would get the virtual projection in the center…" Aakesh announced the rewards for the event.

The dungeon event wouldn't have a time limit to complete. Since those who defeated the leader in the golden dungeon, would clear the event and had a chance at the reward.

Since there were three rewards and each reward had differences, the participant who defeated the leader first would get the territory located in the center, and henceforth for the other two participants.

"The territories you're seeing right now is the territory inside the Panagea," Aakesh announced the location of the territories. Many in the crowd who had heard about Panagea expected the territory to be in the Panagea, so they weren't surprised by Aakesh's announcement.

"The participants who won the territory would get the title, 'Town head' as the reward. The Town head would get complete control over the resources of the territories."

A/N: Sorry, there would be only one chapter today since I took my 2nd dose of Corona Vaccine today.

I also wanted to ask a question from you about this event. I have around five-six chapters planned for this event.

Would you like to see a few detailed scenes of the events since there would be many new side characters participating in the event, or only five-six chapters are enough?

Please do comment since you spend your money to read the chapters!
