Chapter 120 - Maharathi

Chapter 120: Maharathi

"What do you sell here?" The daitya in the front arrogantly asked after seeing Aakesh looking at them.

Daityas didn't follow the Qi cultivation system. They instead followed the warrior system. Everyone in the group was a warrior in the Maharathi grade.

Maharathi level had four grades in the warrior system. They were inferior, intermediate, top, and complete.

Inferior Maharathi warrior was equivalent to Tao Seed cultivator in Qi cultivation system, intermediate to Tao Manifestation, top to Tao Palace, and complete Maharathi was equal to the Heavenly Monarch or an Immortal.

Five members in the group were top Maharathi, while the one on the back was also a top Maharathi, but he was on the verge of a breakthrough to complete Maharathi.

After the Daitya in the front arrogantly talked to Aakesh, Aakesh's eyes turned cold as he only stared at him instead of responding to his answer.

Suddenly, the daitya who had talked arrogantly felt a chill crawl down his spine when he looked at Aakesh. He was forced to take a step back as he felt he would freeze if he stayed here any longer.

"Forgive him. He doesn't know how to talk," A voice came from the back of the group. After that, the man in the back stepped forward.

"Apologize!" The man then pressed his hands on the shoulder of the daitya and ordered him.

The daitya had a surprised expression after his elder brother told him to apologize to a Void Forging cultivator, but since his brother never joked, he didn't dare to refuse his order.

"Forgive me! I shouldn't have talked to you in that way," He apologized while standing straight. Suddenly a pat came on his back, and he automatically bent down to his waist.

The daitya turned around in anger to look at who had forced him to bend, but when he saw the face, all the anger vanished, and instead, a terrified expression appeared on his face. His elder brother had already taken off the mask and was looking at him.

"Please forgive me!" He then looked at Aakesh, sincerely bent down, and apologized.

Aakesh only nodded in response to his apology and then focused on the daitya who had taken off his mask. Because of their relations with the Asuras, Daityas were an arrogant race, so Aakesh didn't expect the daitya to force one of his own to stoop down and apologize.

A smile spread across the daitya face as he introduced himself, "I am Kuriati."

Aakesh nodded in response and responded, "I am Aakesh."

"What does your store sell?" Kuriati asked while inspecting the store.

Aakesh explained about the pills and Panagea in response to his question.

"And, what does that do?" Kuriati smilingly asked while pointing at the square box. The daityas behind him had surprised reactions after hearing about Panagea, but what they were more surprised was about that their brother was smiling.

"It's a card machine..." Aakesh then explained about the card.

Kuriati smilingly took out a supreme Primal stone from his space ring and handed it to Aakesh right away. The other members in the group followed him and took out supreme stones.

A few moments later, everyone had black cards in their hand, as their blood was black in color.

"Let's go and test Panagea," One of the members in the group suggested after everyone added a single supreme Primal stone to their respective cards.

Everyone in the group agreed with the suggestion. They then looked at Kuriati to see his response since he was the strongest of the group. Kuriati nodded, while the smile was nowhere to be seen on his face.

The smile reappeared on his face as he turned around to look at Aakesh. "We'll meet you later," He said to Aakesh and then left toward the portal room. The other member of the group followed him while Aakesh expressionlessly looked at everything happening.

The group decided to enter the same town in Panagea after their entry. One of the members in the group couldn't stop himself from asking, so he asked Kuriati, "Elder brother, why did you treat him so respectfully?"

A cold look appeared on Kuriati's face as he responded, "I saw a fight between us, and I lost my life in that battle."

The group's mouth gaped in shock after hearing their elder brother. "How can a Void Forging cultivator kill you, elder brother?" The members asked at the same time.

Kuriati looked at them in response as if they were an idiot and said, "He isn't a Void Forging. He's faking his level."

Kuriati had a talent for seeing the future of his actions from the moment he was born. So, when his eyes fell on Aakesh, a sudden scene of their fight came to his mind, where Aakesh had slashed away his head with one swing of his sword in an unfamiliar place.

"Should we call others for help?" One of the Daitya asked.

"No need, I saw their corpses lying on the battlefield in the scene," Kuriati responded with a slight tremble in his voice. The scenery of them battling while the corpses of everyone that came up with him got embedded in his mind. He didn't want to face the same scenery, so he decided to make good relations with Aakesh instead of having to fight him in the future.

While in the real world, Aakesh was talking to the system.

"Hey, system, how did he see my level when you said that even Heavenly Monarch couldn't see through it?"

[Host, it was due to his special talent.]

The system emotionlessly responded. "Oh, special talent," Aakesh murmured.

Time flew by, and hours passed. After George and Evelyn's six hours were complete in Panagea, the system forced them out of the world.

"We'll be back tomorrow," Evelyn smilingly said, and George nodded toward Aakesh. Aakesh also nodded back at them, and the next moment, a white light engulfed them. With the disappearance of the white light, they also disappeared from the store.

Hours passed in the blink of an eye, and the sunset came, which brought the darkness to the Bisan Kingdom and the entire world. Aakesh stood up from his chair and closed the store.

After closing the store, he disappeared from the store and appeared in the selection ground.. He then had a battle with the opponent, and it was another draw, so he returned to the store.
