Chapter 113 - Familiar Faces

Chapter 113: Familiar Faces

"Senior, what's this?" Pento curiously asked, seeing a strange square box lying next to Aakesh.

"It's a Card machine," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

"What kind of cards, senior?" Mark couldn't help but ask.

Aakesh then explained the three types of cards to the group. The group had a mixture of shocked and disappointed expressions, as they got shocked by the details of the cards but were disappointed because they couldn't buy a supreme or superior card.

Pento, Bislo, and Pallas's boss bought a top card for them, as only they could afford to spend a top Primal stone for purchasing a card that could carry Primal stones.

The group then bowed at Aakesh and left the store as there was no point in wasting their time here. Pento found the group of his five guards waiting for him at the door.

A shocked look appeared on his face after he heard the happenings in the store while he was in Panagea. He then turned back to take a look at the couple, but since he had already exited the store, he couldn't see anything inside the store. The only thing he saw was the entrance door of the store.

Then he took a deep breath and left since he could not do anything about both the store owner and the couple. At the moment, his primary focus was on completing his quest and starting a kingdom in Panagea, as only that could help him in expanding his sphere before his brothers found out about the store and Panagea.

While in the store, "You can go now," Aakesh expressionlessly told George and Evelyn after the group left.

The couple nodded and went to the portal room directly since the cost of Panagea would automatically get deducted from their supreme card. A surprised expression appeared on the couple's faces after seeing the virtual portals.

Fifteen portals were lying in the room, while one of the portals was greyed, signifying that it already had a user. George then tried to sense the source of the portal, and the next moment, he found himself in the vast expanse of the void with nothing to see no matter how far he looked.

The next moment, he took back his divine sense and found himself back in the room, staring at the portals.

"Aren't they small for a world travel?" Evelyn asked as she had seen countless portals in her life, and even the travel portals whose main purpose is to travel from one kingdom to another exceeds the size of buildings. But here in the store, they were seeing a portal that could carry them to a different world and was only of the same body size as them.

They also couldn't find the power source of the virtual portal. Any portals couldn't work without a power source.

"Aakesh, where are the power source of these portals?" George asked after coming out of the room.

"They themselves are the power source," Aakesh expressionlessly responded. The portals didn't need a power source because they absorb energy from the Multiverse directly every moment.

A shocked expression appeared on George's face as he had heard of weapons having their own sentience and were able to cultivate using the energy from the environment but had never heard of portals being able to absorb energy from the environment. It consumed a vast amount of energy for even a single activation, and if they would grasp this energy from the atmosphere, in no time, the land around it would turn barren, but here in the store, they had no such problem.

"Store owner, I am back!"

While George had a shocked expression, thinking about the amount of energy it would take for the portals to make them travel to a different world, he heard a familiar voice.

He turned around to look at the owner of the voice and noticed a girl who had worn a mask and covered her head to hide her face and hair. He easily bypassed the restrictions of the mask and found a familiar face beneath it.

Lenna also noticed a familiar face when she entered the store.

"Lenna Faero!"

"George Pocoso!"

Both Lenna and George uttered the name of the other party at the same time.

Aakesh noticed the Pocoso behind George's name. He also remembered that Evelyn had told at the start of the introduction that they were traveling the continent and were the residents of the Pocoso Empire. He then put this thought in the back of his mind as the fact of him being a prince didn't interest him much.

"What are you doing here in a small Kingdom like this?" George asked as he knew the power the Faero family carried in the Primal dimension. In comparison to the Xaya Empire, they were even more powerful. But since most of their family members lived in their own universes, they didn't have much influence in Visteerna.

"Oh, I'm traveling around the Visteerna," Lenna made an excuse as she didn't think much of George to tell him about her purpose of coming to the Bisan Kingdom. "What are you doing here, and where is your girlfriend?" She then asked the same question.

"I am here," Before George could respond, Evelyn came out of the portal room and smilingly responded. "We're also traveling around the Anga continent. After traveling the continent, we would go to Kashi in the hope of getting the blessing of the sacred Deva sleeping there," She answered further.

"Are you here for the world of Panagea?" George asked, as there couldn't be any other reason than her talking so respectfully with Aakesh.

"Yes," She nodded. She then looked at Aakesh and said, "Six hours!"

"Wait, what's that?" She asked as she noticed a strange square box behind Aakesh's chairs.

Aakesh then explained the details of the cards to her. "From anywhere in the Primal dimension to the store," She asked with a shocked look on her face.

"Yeah, I tested it, and it works," George chimed in and shared his experiences.

"I want a supreme card," She responded as she took out a supreme Primal stone from her space ring. After experiencing the Panagea for herself, she was confident that the power behind the store wasn't from this dimension.

Aakesh nodded and took the Primal stone from her hands.. The next moment, he did the process required to create a card, and a few moments later, a silver card appeared in his hands.
