Chapter 91 - A New Quest In Panagea

Chapter 91: A New Quest in Panagea

After appearing in Wolfden, Aakesh first went to the jungle where he had left Lily. Since there was no way for him to communicate with her in Panagea, so he started searching for her.

While searching for her, he came across several beasts of different races. He left those who ran away from him, but those who tried to attack were killed by a single swing of his hand. Despite being a Level 1, he could defeat around Level 10 with ease due to his proficiency in different combats.

He finally found Lily. She was playing with the pups of the wolves. When she discovered the scent of Aakesh, she rushed toward him. When she saw him, she pounced on him.

"How's your playtime going?" He smilingly asked as Lily contentedly sat on her favorite place, his head after licking all over his face.

"Good! I made some friends with silver wolves," She responded.

"Oh, someone like you made friends," Aakesh asked as he never thought an arrogant creature like Lily would make some friends.

"Yeah, due to my high-level bloodline, no beast dared to come across me, and I didn't dare to go to any other beast as I didn't want to die being this weak, so when pups of the wolves saw me, they came running at me and then we started playing catch and run," Lily responded with a disappointed sigh.

"Oh, don't worry-"

Aakesh was talking when he suddenly stopped talking as a blue window out of nowhere appeared in front of him. Golden fonts then started appearing on it.

Aakesh knew he had got his second quest in Panagea, so he focused on the blue screen.

[Brave Adventurer, you have already saved the town of Wolfden once, but it seems it needs your service again!

You killed so many wolves that it would take at least five years for the silver wolves to create their horde again, and the wolf king also knew this. But it seems the wolf king had found a way to build a powerful race of silver wolves without having the ability to manipulate energy.

There is a high-level bloodline currently roaming in the jungle, and the wolf king has decided to take that creature's help to create super wolves.

Adventurer, you need to prevent this from happening by either killing the high-level bloodline owner and stopping the wolf king from creating super wolves, or by killing the wolf king, or by finding a way to stop it. Otherwise, the town of Wolfden will lose innocent civilians.

Your reward would depend on the result of the mission. May you be successful!]

After reading the quest, Aakesh picked out Lily from his head and looked at her with a weird expression. "Have you met the wolf king?" He then solemnly asked her.

"Yes, what happened?" She asked as she could see the change in sudden expression of Aakesh. He was only talking a moment before with a smile on his face, and now he had turned solemn.

"That bastard wants to use your blood to create super wolves," Aakesh angrily responded. In Panagea, nothing would happen to Lily, but taking her blood was equivalent to his blood both literally and figuratively in a sense.

"That's why he was talking respectfully to me yesterday," Lily said in an irritating tone. She believed Aakesh right away as he would never lie to her. She then took a deep breath and asked, "Should I return with you to the real world?" She was arrogant, but she wasn't stupid to believe that she or Aakesh could kill the wolf king, a Level 50 beast.

"I don't think you can leave now until I complete the quest," He answered as, despite him not wanting to, Lily had involved herself in the quest.

The next moment, Lily tried to return to the real world, but nothing happened. "What is your quest?" She then asked Aakesh as she couldn't leave despite trying for a few times.

"I have to stop that bastard from creating super wolves," He responded while thinking about ways to complete this quest as he didn't want to kill Lily from his own hands, and right now, Aakesh would be fighting a losing battle if he faced the wolf king.

"Since you can't return to the real world, you should return to the wolves while I think of ways to complete the quest," He then added as currently, he had no idea how to defeat the wolf king.

"Why not kill me?" Lily asked as she knew she wouldn't die and would return to the real world, and it was the easiest way to complete the quest.

A cold expression appeared on his face as he stared at her. The look chilled her so much that she started shivering. It was the first time she had seen this look on Aakesh. "I would complete this quest without killing you, and you can't kill yourself," He responded with no expression in his voice.

The next moment, he returned to his usual expression with Lily as he added, "You're my daughter, and how can a father kill his own daughter for selfish reasons." After staying silent for a second, he further added, "You don't need to worry. I won't let that bastard take even a single drop of your blood."

"Okay!" Lily responded. Her voice still had a slight tremble as it was the first time she had seen Aakesh that angry.

A smile appeared on Aakesh's face as he scratched her head and apologized, "I'm sorry. I would grant one of your wishes as an apology."

"Really! Any wish!" Lily exclaimed.

"Yes!" Aakesh smilingly nodded and added, "But not now, as I am not that strong."

"Okay!" She responded as she already had a wish in her mind, that Lily wanted Aakesh to grant her, as only she knew the extent of Aakesh's knowledge of the Multiverse and the capability of the system.

"Now, it's time for you to act as you usually act and try to extend the time as much as possible," Aakesh said the next moment, as his face turned solemn.

"It's time for us to play and have fun with these wolves," He added before Lily could respond.

He then told Lily what she had to do as the quest was time-consuming and left her there.. Lily returned to the group of wolf pups, while Aakesh returned to the Wolfden.
