Chapter 66 - A Visit

Alger was a little surprised by Lisana’s sudden concern.

Lisana found that Alger was looking at her oddly and she quickly realized what she had just said. She then turned around and left anxiously with a flushed face.

After Lisana left, Alger didn’t think too much about it. He immediately put this behind him.

After work, Alger was about to contact Winnie, but he got a message from Winnie, asking him to go help Alina and that she would take a cab home.

When Alger saw this message, he felt very speechless in his mind. He didn’t know what Alina said to Winnie. Even though Alina asked Alger to pretend to be her boyfriend and go home to meet her parents, Winnie wasn’t mad at all.

But since Winnie had said so, Alger was much more relieved. After replying to the message, he packed his stuff and rushed to the place Alina had informed him about.

The two of them didn’t go to Alina’s home right away, but met beforehand to get the story straight.

“Let me tell you, don’t think that there’s really something between us just because I’m taking you home. Everything we’re doing now is only to deceive my parents. Do you understand?” Alina looked at Alger and said.

After hearing that, Alger turned around and wanted to leave. Alina quickly went forward and stopped him when she saw that Alger wanted to leave. She then said unhappily, “What are you doing? Didn’t you agree to go to my home?”

“Don’t worry. This will definitely not happen in the future!” Alina said directly, “We either make my parents believe that you’re indeed my boyfriend and I’ll tell them that we’ve already broken up in the future.

“Or do we make my parents hate you?” Alina shrugged and said, “Anyway, I hope this will end quickly no matter what.”

“Got it. In that case, it’s better to make your parents hate me,” Alger immediately said.

If that happened, they would be able to end this ridiculous drama.

After the two of them got the story straight, they drove off.

When they arrived at the villa of Alina’s family, Alina looked at Alger and reminded him again, “Do you still remember what we just said?”

“Don’t worry!” Alger nodded and said, “I’ll definitely make your parents hate me.”

Alina held Alger’s arm again as she opened the door and said, “Mom, Dad, we’re back.”

A middle-aged couple was sitting in the room. The man was reading a newspaper, while the woman was watching TV on the side.

When the two of them heard the voice, they looked up at Alger.

Alina’s mom, Madam Gina, looked a bit bad. Evidently, she was dissatisfied with Alina’s boyfriend.

Tim next to her nodded slightly at Alger and said with a deep voice, “Come in.”

Even though Alger’s goal was to make the two of them hate him, he knew basic etiquette.

So, when he saw the two of them, Alger nodded politely and said, “Uncle, Auntie.”

“Hm, have a seat.” Mr. Tim looked at the couch on the side and asked both of them to sit.

When facing her parents, Alina seemed to be much more restrained than before, and she sat on the couch with Alger.

Seeing Alger acting like a thug, Mr. Tim and Madam Gina both felt even more dissatisfied in their minds.
