The mussel noticed Gu Xijiu was awake and quickly said, "Master, are you done? I’m done with all these, can’t take it anymore…"

Gu Xijiu was shocked. Si Chen managed to escape the attack from the beasts and jumped into the array, "You're finally awake!"

Those beasts had lost its target and could not understand the array, they simply banged and ran inside the array. Eventually, they were all severely injured just like how the leopard was and quickly ran away after being blown out by the cyclone.

Gu Xijiu looked at the mussel which had just left its shell opened widely and then looked at Si Chen again, "Mr. Si Chen, could you please explain?"

Si Chen frowned, "What do you want me to explain?"

"Those ferocious beasts are not supposed to be able to break in, why did you lure them to the entrance?" The beasts would have broken the array if the mussel was not blocking at the entrance!

"Your new pet was starving; I was just feeding it some food." Si Chen answered slowly.

The mussel was speechless. It was wrongly blamed! It just simply mentioned to Si Chen that it was going to be hungry from boredom. Unexpectedly, Si Chen put it in front of the entrance and lured numerous beasts to feed the mussel.

The mussel was full and tried its best to move towards Gu Xijiu, "Master, can we leave slightly later? I need some time to digest these…"

Gu Xijiu was shocked!

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Some strange sounds were coming from the wizardry barrier. Gu Xijiu quickly took a look and got shocked!

There were four to five orange and red beasts fighting with each other. The Heaven Floating Wings had been torn into pieces, and the king in there was a weird beast with a tiger's head and cow’s body. It defeated all the creatures and was able to tear off its opponent’s flesh with a single scratch of its claw. Blood was drizzling scarily.

The weird beast was red; it was redder than the fresh blood. "That is a beast from the seventh peak right!?

Since they have their respective territories, why would the beast from the seventh peak come to the sixth peak!?" Gu Xijiu was surprised and asked.

Si Chen was knowledgeable and answered, "The beasts from the sixth and seventh peak live together. Of course, the eighth is exceptional."

Gu Xijiu frowned, "That’s bad for the beasts in the sixth peak right?"

Si Chen passed her a fruit and helped to answer her question, "Both orange and red beasts have almost the same level of physical power. An orange beast can kill a red beast…"

"I see!"

"Then what kind of beasts do they have in the eighth peak? Are they isolated in the eighth peak alone? Or are they fairies since all the spiritual powers from the seven peaks have are gathered at the eighth peak?"

Si Chen smiled as he looked at Gu Xijiu, "How did you know all the spiritual powers from the seven peaks are gathered at the eighth peak?"

Gu Xijiu was slightly shocked as she realized she had accidentally revealed it, luckily she reacted fast enough, "It’s so simple! When I saw it from mid-air, I could see that the landscape of the Dark Forest is like an array which can gather the spiritual powers. If I’m not mistaken, the spiritual powers of the seven peaks are supposed to gather at the eighth peak…"

Si Chen placed his hand on Gu Xijiu’s shoulder and pressed lightly, "Ah Sheng, I didn’t know you’re so familiar with arrays!" He tried to judge her, "It’s kind of unbelievable for a little girl to know so much! Amazing!"

Gu Xijiu took a glimpse of him, "You ain't that old, just two to three years older than me. You know quite a lot as well, and that surprised me!" This teenager knew quite a bit, and he even knew something which the Firmament Stone had no idea about.

That led to a doubt of his identity.
