"What?!" Juin gasped. A pact? Sacrifice? He had read about virgins being sacrificed in one of the books he borrowed from the library, but according to what he read, those were just unnecessary killings. There was no proof that the demons would accept the deaths of the virgins.

Besides, what would the demons do with human women?

"It was unfortunate. With the advancement of science, she was not even supposed to be born," Patrick said. He might dislike them, but he himself had a younger sister. If something like this were to happen to her, he would be unable to bear it.

John nodded. "Ever since they could find out the gender of the babies through science, every member of the Nakamura Clan had aborted all female fetuses. There hasn't been a single female Nakamura priest for a very, very long time… until Mika Nakamura. She was part of a set of triplets. A hidden third. I heard from my parents that the doctor only found two heartbeats… So you can say that her being born took everyone by surprise."

Juin felt bad. However, he was curious about one thing. "Why did the demon want women? And what happened to those women?"

John scratched the back of his head as he answered awkwardly, "We aren't sure… None of the offered women ever returned once they were sent to Xeel'guth, the demon who contracted with Ryotaro Nakamura, so we don't know. As for why the demon wanted the women… I think only Ryotaro Nakamura would know about it."

Xeel'guth came from one of the dimensions closest to Earth, Chronos. The link between Earth and Chronos was very weak compared to the links between Earth and other dimensions. It was said that, because of the weak link, Xeel'guth was able to open up portals according to his whims.

Juin sighed. So many unknowns, and it felt as if there would be more and more unknowns popping up. He shook his legs as he tried to think of what to ask next. There were so many questions; he didn't even know where to start.

"And what about Mr. Warlock?" Juin asked suddenly, causing Lucifer to be taken aback. "What is he? Is he human? Why are the kids in the class afraid of him?"

Lucifer did not realize that Juin would recognize Warlock.

Patrick thought for a while before saying, "We are not too sure of his real identity… But my father said that he's a real warlock from the Nightmare Rift… No one knows when he arrived here… But President Presley is very wary of him."

Juin knew from Patrick and John's explanation earlier that President Presley was the current leader of the Order. "Warlock's not with the Order?"

Patrick shook his head. After talking for so long, he was now more comfortable in letting out the information. "He refused all invitations. I heard that he was looking for someone, as he came to the Order once to ask for information on a kid. I might be wrong, but he was traveling around the globe as a rabbi, a Taoist, and a priest for some time. He was even in the Italian mafia for a couple of years.

"But for some reason, a few years back, he decided to settle down and become a teacher at this school…"

The higher-ups at the Order followed Warlock for a while, but after a year or so of surveillance, they realized that Warlock, despite his weird behaviors, was really just settling down at a place. He did not meet with anyone that could raise any suspicions.

"Exactly when?" Juin asked, afraid to know the answer. A small part of him felt that he already knew the answer.

"Two to three years ago?" Patrick thought and replied. He could feel the pressure on him was slowly being lifted up as he talked more. "My older cousin was a student here then, and he told me about 'Mad Dog' Warlock. He was hired by the school to control the supernatural kids here since he's not afraid to offend anyone. It's said that his strength is on par with President Presley, thus no parent would dare to offend him. Well, supernatural parents anyway."

The human parents could care less since they did not know that Warlock could easily wipe them off the face of the Earth.

"Two to three years ago?" Juin and Lucifer both thought in unison. Juin wondered why so many things happened at that time, while Lucifer wondered if Juin was the reason Warlock suddenly decided to settle down.

Juin had finally recalled who Warlock was now. The priest… Juin had a vague memory of a gray-haired man with multiple piercings handing him a bead and telling him that he would be fine.

"The school?" Juin suddenly raised a brow and asked, "Who else are supernatural beings at the higher level here?"

"Principal Benjamin, Vice Principal Jacob…" John offered the information when he saw how the pressure was being lifted from Patrick.

Juin listened intently as John listed everyone down. He was gobsmacked at the end of it. 90% of the faculty had supernatural backgrounds, and the 10% human teachers were people who were affiliated with supernatural beings, either through marriage or work.

BRRRINNGGGG!!!

"Juin, get them to be your b*tches…" Lucifer said when he heard the bell ring. He knew from his experience in Juin's old school that the bell rings meant that they had to move around again.

Juin frowned. He then looked at Patrick and John, signaling Lucifer to remove his pressure immediately. Once Patrick and John were standing without any pressure, Juin stood up. He was about to say in a stern voice, but upon realizing the number of supernatural beings at this school, he typed in his phone and showed the screen to the two.

[I want the two of you to keep track of everyone and everything, and if there's any news, I want to be told immediately.]

It was less threatening, but he had no choice. There was no way those two could be effective spies if people knew that they were spying for him.

Just in case those two tried to do anything weird, Juin quickly typed in another paragraph.

[Oh, in case you're interested, that unnatural earthquake and Luca's injury? I was the one who did it.]

He then looked up at the two guys, who were at least a head taller than him, and at the moment, he felt as if he were a giant among humans, like David against Goliath, or in this case, werewolves.

The two teenagers gulped. They saw the interaction between Luca and Juin earlier, and there was no sign of the cowardly Juin. For some reason, Luca was agitated and kept staring over at Juin's direction earlier. Plus the fact that Juin could suppress them with his aura alone, they had no reason to believe that Juin would lie to them.

"If he could hurt an Elementalist so badly, he might actually be able to kill us," John tried to "talk" to Patrick through eye contact.

"We agree," Patrick said after a moment of hesitation. They knew that among the supernatural beings here, they ranked among the lowest. The alpha in the classroom was obviously disinterested in them, so they had to find better protection… even if said protection was a boy whom they used to beat up.
