Zhang Yunyan looked around and still found no suspicious things, nor did she see the appearance of Jiuyou Sage.

She couldn’t confirm whether it was the Devil’s Cave and did not know where the crack was. However, she felt that it would not be too far away and might be nearby.

Since nightfall, the behavior of Black Tiger, the mysterious sika deer, the old woman who called herself half an immortal, and the astonishing noise seemed to prove that the danger was imminent, and that Jiuyou Sage and the Four King Ghosts were likely to appear.

It was terrible. Halfway up the mountain, Yunyan was nervous and worried that the Devil’s Cave might suddenly open, and the fierce and vicious devils would rush to the front of her.

She was in a dangerous place with unpredictable consequences. The thought of it was frightening enough.

Zhang Yunyan thought of the mysterious sika deer again. She was even more suspicious, wondering whether it came with an ulterior purpose.

She and Black Tiger followed the sika deer to the middle of the mountain. Then, the sudden disappearance of the sika deer was so strange.

With shiny fur and special plum blossom spots, the sika deer understood human language, and disappeared silently. No other deer could be like it. The sika deer was by no means ordinary. Moreover, from its appearance and behavior, it must be a highly skilled elf.

But it was strange that it was chased by an ordinary evil wolf helplessly and might die.

What puzzled her was that it had the ability to kill the evil wolf, but it didn’t stop the wolf. Was it trying to disguise something with this illusion? And why did the sika deer take her halfway up the hill? Was it intentional? If it was, what was its purpose?

Besides, the old woman who claimed to be half an immortal said she was entrusted by someone. Who was the person, and what was the task?

The old woman’s words and deeds were even more strange, suspicious and frightening.

Was she entrusted by the devils of the Jiuyou Sage to send her to a dangerous place?

Because Zhang Yunyan could not know the truth, she was afraid and could only predict that if she was really hurt by demons and monsters, she would not be able to escape tonight.

Although she knew nothing, she had an ominous feeling that those mysterious things were not ordinary, which might indicate a terrible danger. The more she thought, the more she feared. She knew that danger was coming, and the consequences were unimaginable.

Yunyan felt nervous and looked around, hoping to find something to help her escape the disaster.

Qinglong Mountain was quiet with no suspicious changes. There was no sound, no shadows, and no smoke on the mountainside.

Zhang Yunyan sighed. Although she was less nervous, she was still afraid.

She wanted to get home as soon as possible, but Black Tiger was here too. She could not go alone. In times of danger, she could not abandon her animal friend and escape alone.

Yunyan repeatedly urged the black dog to go home, but it ignored and was still looking at the distance and whined from time to time.

Frowning, she was very anxious, and decided that they could not stay here any longer.

No longer hesitating, Zhang Yunyan immediately took Black Tiger to leave. It was a little difficult to hold the black dog, but she would never let go, no matter how hard it struggled. The only way to do so was to take it away by force, or she would not know when she would be able to leave the place, and what danger she would encounter.

Suddenly, a burst of scream came when a ball of black air quickly flew here. Covering the night sky, the black air emitted a strong smell, frightening and disgusting.

Zhang Yunyan had just taken a few steps when she was shocked by the sudden change and stopped in a hurry. She was nervous and more frightened. That was the Jiuyou Sage. It was out of her expectation that the old devil really came.

Looking at the black air coming, Black Tiger was barking in a low voice, eager to try.

Yunyan could not escape, and did not have the opportunity to go down the mountain. If she continued to escape, she would be discovered by the old devil, and the consequences would be even worse. She had no way to escape, so she had to hide behind a large stone with Black Tiger, hoping that she could survive.

The smelly black air soon fell halfway up the hill. When the evil black air dispersed, several horrifying figures appeared. Besides the Jiuyou Sage, there were four ugly and ferocious guys.

Among these guys, one was flashing red, one was wrapped in yellow light, one in green. They were the Four King Ghosts under the control of Jiuyou Sage.

It was another night of terror. A group of terrifying devils suddenly appeared in front of them, not far away. How terrible it was.

In the blink of an eye, Qinglong Mountain became the “hell” where the devil ran rampant. The terrible situation and the terror of the atmosphere were vivid like the abyss of death.

Zhang Yunyan saw the devil again, and more than one, which made her shrink and tremble involuntarily. The disaster came suddenly. She was nervous and scared to think that it was impossible to escape from the devils.

Black Tiger, trembling and nervous, was staring at the devils, as if it was ready for battle.

Zhang Yunyan did not want to face this group of devils. Her trembling body was close to Black Tiger and she clung to her only partner. She was afraid that it would make a noise to alarm these evil gods, and she was afraid that it would rush to death. If they were found out by the devils, Black Tiger and she would all die.

Halfway up the hill, it was dark and quiet. The ghostly terror was like hell, terrifying all living beings. This was a place of death, bloody and murderous, fearful and suffocating.

The devils of the Jiuyou Sage were not far away, and they would come at any time to take the lives of Zhang Yunyan and Black Tiger.

Yunyan trembled out of control, and she almost broke down. She knew that a little carelessness will lead to a major disaster.

It was so terrible. No one knew what would happen next… Everything is unimaginable.

In the “hell”, there was no sound of beetles and no breath of life. The air had stopped and all living creatures could not breathe.

They dared not to move and make a sound. They could only pray silently that the evil gods would leave soon so that they had a chance of survival.

Zhang Yunyan was too nervous to let go of any movement of the devils. Even if the sweat was soaking in the clothes, she did not feel it. At this moment, except for her, the only thing she could feel was her anxiety and fear.

She hoped that the devils would leave as soon as possible, so that she and Black Tiger could return home safely.

Looking at the devils and trembling all over, Yunyan dared not to move.

The restless black dog was ready to rush to bite these terrible devils.

Zhang Yunyan was so frightened that she held it tightly. Her heart had already come to her mouth, and her trembling body could not control herself. If the devils were alarmed at this moment, she and the dog would die in the blink of an eye.

In the “hell”, it was dead quiet. Except for the laughter and shaking figures of the evil gods, everything was frozen, and everything seemed to have vanished. Terror, despair, cruelty, blood... Hell was full of these.

Suddenly, the light came shining like lightning that made the earth snow white and bright, but disappeared in the blink of an eye. Then the sky and the earth became darker.

At the same time, in the roaring sounds which seemed to be thunder, rocks shook, sand and dust flew, rocks rolled down, and trees branches were broke... In hell, there seemed to be a sudden tremendous change.

Zhang Yunyan was shocked. She was shaken and rolled over and over before she could respond. She could not control herself and could only let it go.

She did not forget Black Tiger, still holding it tightly. She feared not only that her animal friends would fall down the hill and die, but also that they would be put to death if the devils found out.

Yunyan knew that with the loud noise, the hillside would be cracked with a wide gap, and it was Jiuyou Sage who opened the cave entrance again.

In the flash, Zhang Yunyan was so scared that she could not control herself because she saw the fierce faces of the devils and felt the smell and coldness of the overcast wind.

Although she was terrified, she felt lucky that at least now they had not been discovered by the evil gods.

In the astonishing upheaval, Zhang Yunyan held Black Tiger tightly. In order not to be killed, she dared not to be careless.

Even after that, Yunyan did not calm down and was still very nervous, extremely frightened, and even plunged into pain and despair…

In the blink of an eye, a group of devils and the Jiuyou Sage disappeared into the crack and this place was quiet again.

Zhang Yunyan felt relieved when she saw the devils enter the cave without noticing her. Then she was weak and exhausted and sat on the ground breathing heavily.

However, as soon as she was relieved, Black Tiger suddenly broke free from her and rushed out to the crack. As she urgently called, it disappeared in an instant.

It turned out that Black Tiger had run into the Devil’s Cave without knowing the danger ahead.

Zhang Yunyan was shocked and regretted that she hadn’t held Black Tiger more tightly, so that it threw itself into the trap and got killed.

After great changes and shocks, Yunyan felt relieved for a while. Her body and mind were somewhat dull that made the dog break away and end up in such a tragedy.

Zhang Yunyan panicked and suddenly stood up. With a glimmer of hope, she ran to the edge of the crack and wanted to call Black Tiger back.

She did not dare to frighten the evil gods, but called out its name in a low voice toward the dark cracks. But there was no response below. She didn’t know if Black Tiger had heard it.

She hesitated and shouted, but there was still no sound in the cave.

It seemed that Black Tiger had run far away to track down the devils, or had died.

Zhang Yunyan had already entered the Devil’s Cave, and knew that the cave was terribly deep. Without knowing how deep it was, Black Tiger jumped down and was bound to be dead. Even if it was still alive, it couldn’t move but be lying there. How could it jump up?

Yunyan was eager to hear the voices of her animal friend. Even the pain of humming can prove that it had not died.

The cave was so dark that nothing can be seen, and there was no sound at all. It was quiet and frightening.

It seemed that Black Tiger had died. Otherwise she could have heard some noise in the cave.

Frowning, Zhang Yunyan regretted and blamed herself. The danger had passed and she could have gone down the mountain safely, but Black Tiger died because of her negligence, which was an unforgivable mistake.
