Turtle Elf saw that the demonic traps set by Jiuyou Sage suddenly burst out. It was scared and it shouted out. Its body trembled, and even its voice changed. There was a blank in its mind, only the instinct to escape. It subconsciously picked up the man and ran, and it wished to fly out.

Zhang Yunyan was very scared. She held Black Tiger and then ran outside the cave.

At this moment, the horrible small hole rumbled. In an instant, the gravel flew, the black air surged with a stinky smell and sand and stones rushing out of the cave.

Zhang Yunyan was hit by the violent evil air and rolled on the ground, and she accidentally hit the wall.

Turtle Elf was blown up and couldn’t hold its steps. When it was slammed to the wall, it suddenly turned over and its hard back shell slammed on the rock. Fortunately, it was not injured, and the man in his arms was not crushed either.

Soon, the sound disappeared. The black air dissipated, and the stinky smell remained the same. The place was calm again.

Zhang Yunyan got up and moved her limbs. Apart from some pains, she didn’t feel bad. She was relieved and deeply grateful.

She got down at the entrance and looked inside the cave. The flat stone that the man was lying on was gone. There was a layer of broken stones on the ground, and a faint smoke floated in the air.

The burst of the hex was sudden and fierce. It was earth-shaking, and everyone was shocked.

It turned out that Zhang Yunyan saw that “Shikong” was not dead and she was excited. She inadvertently touched the control switch on the flat stone, which triggered the horrible hex.

She and Turtle Elf were lucky to run out, and it was not their fate to die. If they were a bit slower, they would be buried in the cave. That was really close!

The unconscious man was very lucky as well. If Turtle Elf did not take him out, he would be as broken as the huge rock.

After the shock, Zhang Yunyan looked at the unconscious man. She felt anxious and asked, “Turtle Elf, can you dispel the magic for him to wake him up?”

Turtle Elf shook his head and said helplessly, “No, the bound magic can only be dispelled by the spellcaster. Other people have no power and cannot wake him up. Well, he can only be like this before he dies.”

Hearing those words, Yunyan sighed. If Turtle Elf couldn’t dispel the magic, it would be delusional for her to do it.

The earth-shattering hex disappeared, and the devils were alarmed and came here. The terrible screams, the stinky smell and the whistling wind all made the “Hell” even more terrifying.

It said that while picking up the man and ran away. It just ran a few steps and saw Zhang Yunyan sitting there still. It frowned and eagerly called her.

Yunyan reacted from the shock. She picked up Black Tiger and rushed to Turtle Elf, and then she followed it into the darkness.

As she ran, she asked, “Turtle Elf, where are we going?”

“Well, there is no safe place in the cave. I don’t know where to stay. Let’s go, try to stay away from those guys.”

Zhang Yunyan had long known that this would be the result, and it was also an inevitable outcome. It was still necessary to ask. Naturally the answer would be disappointing and desperate.

The sudden burst of the hex alarmed Jiuyou Sage and the Four King Ghosts. Yunyan had been exposed. The danger was even more terrible, and they were hung by a thread.

She was nervous and terrified, and she could only follow Turtle Elf and flee blindly. She made up her mind secretly that if she encountered the devils, she would fight with them until she died.

Zhang Yunyan was deeply disturbed by one thing. Once she encountered those devils, Turtle Elf would be involved, which meant she would bring trouble to her friends. What could she do?

She saw that Turtle Elf did not give up, and still ran fast with the man on his back. She felt very grateful, admirable, and very guilty. She didn’t have an idea for the moment, so she decided to just go and see what would happen. She would never let her friends lose their life because of her.

In the “Hell” where the devils were rampant, Yunyan was uneasy and unable to control herself. She was unable to escape from the tragic ending. No matter what the consequences would be, she had no ability to control herself, and Turtle Elf was unable to help. What’s worse, it could be involved.

Yunyan frowned and sighed. She could only abandon herself to fate, more precisely, to the devils.

In the cave, the darkness was restless and horrible, and the screams were getting closer. The stinky smell and the whistling wind, like a sharp arrow, stung the horrified creatures.

Zhang Yunyan frowned and clenched her teeth, and she was ready to fight for life at any time. For death, she had a hunch after entering the Devil’s Cave, and she was psychologically prepared. At this moment, she was more sure.

For the escape, Yunyan was very eager, but there was no hope. Even if her hope was only to die peacefully, it can’t be realized either. She had no way to escape but only fight with the demons and devils, and then she would be killed and eaten, leaving a tragic ending.

Zhang Yunyan looked at the man on the back of Turtle Elf. She hoped that this person was her benefactor Shikong, because it would be a comfort to her painful heart. She secretly sighed again. Even if the young man were Shikong, he would also be like herself. No one could escape from the tragic ending.

Yunyan looked at Black Tiger in her arms, and she lamented that her animal friend had died. It was inevitable that they would be swallowed by the devils. The result was equally miserable...

Suddenly, Turtle Elf looked back and said while running, “Yun Feiyan, I remembered. There is a place where the devils rarely go. Let’s go there and stay for a while.”

Before hearing an answer, it hurried into a cave, and ran away quickly.

Zhang Yunyan immediately cheered up and followed closely, and there was another glimmer of hope in her heart. Perhaps quietly dying was no longer a wild wish, and she could die alone there.

She was still uneasy. This wish was not too much, and it was very sad. It was hard to say whether it could be realized. Devils rarely visited the place, and it did not mean that they didn’t go there, not to mention that it was still a very special period.

Yunyan’s worries were not unreasonable. The devils would never allow outsiders to hide in their own caves. They would not stop until they solved the dangers. They would search anywhere.

Again, they could only hide here as long as they could. The unrealistic fantasies were meaningless. In such an extraordinary period, in the horrible “Hell”, Yunyan was confused of everything here, and she could only listen to the arrangements of Turtle Elf.

Zhang Yunyan and Turtle Elf turned around and kept running, and after the time of half a meal, they finally stopped.

Turtle Elf looked around and said, “Come on, it’s here.”

It put down the man, wiped the sweat on his head, and took a long breath.

Yunyan put down Black Tiger and looked around as she gasped.

Here, the cave was like a tunnel. It was not spacious and still extending elsewhere. The ground and the walls of the cave were all rocks, the color and texture of which were the same as the entire cave. There was nothing special about it. There was a hole in the wall next to it, which was dark and quiet.

Zhang Yunyan did not see how it differed from other places. It was made of the same rock with no strange things. She felt that the reason why the devils rarely came here might be that this cave was too remote.

This was not bad. She might be able to get what she wanted--to escape from the hurt of the devils and quietly die here.

Although this desire of craving was very sad and very pitiful, it was also her only wish at this moment. As for whether it could be realized, Yunyan was not sure at all and could only pray silently.

Seeing that there’s blood all over her body, Turtle Elf was worried, and asked about her injury with concern.

Zhang Yunyan told it that her injury was not heavy and these bloodstains belonged to the black dog. She looked at Black Tiger and lamented, and sadly shed tears.

Turtle Elf was touched and it praised, “This is a very loyal dog. It is dead, but it saved you. Its blood on you is your amulet, otherwise you will not live until now. The Red Hair King Ghost would have killed you.”

“Yeah, Black Tiger died because of protecting me. It is heartbreaking. It’s my fault...”

Zhang Yunyan lamented and felt endless pain again. Suddenly, her thought about something, and she was puzzled by the words of Turtle Elf. She looked at her friend in confusion.

She wiped her tears and asked, “Turtle Elf, why did you say the blood of Black Tiger is my amulet?”

Turtle Elf looked at Yunyan. It had some doubts about her question, “Why, you still don’t know?”

Yunyan looked at Turtle Elf. She shook her head and said nothing.

Turtle Elf sighed, “Black Tiger saved you when it was alive, and it still protects you after death. Those devils are afraid of the blood of black dogs the most. Otherwise, how could the Red Hair King Ghost abandon you and flee?”

After Zhang Yunyan listened to this statement, she was surprised and shocked. The puzzles in her mind were still difficult to solve, “Why are the devils afraid of the blood of black dogs?”

Turtle Elf shook his head, “Why are they afraid of the black dog’s blood? I can’t tell, but this is their fatal weakness. It is the secret that they dare not to speak out. You still bring Black Tiger around, and it will continue to protect you. At the crucial time, the devils don’t dare to be too arrogant and will not hurt you easily.”

Although Zhang Yunyan could not solve this mystery, she knew something for sure in her heart and was more grateful to this animal friend.

Jiuyou Sage and Four King Ghosts were chasing her. She had no way to go, and she could hardly escape. She was deeply desperate, sorrowful and angry. Her friend Black Tiger was dead, and she couldn’t live any longer, or she may die soon.

Yunyan was trapped in the Devil’s Cave. In the face of these fierce and cruel devils, she had been horrified. It was really terrible, and the consequences would be very tragic.

After being extremely desperate, she was no longer so afraid of death, and she did not want to die too painfully. She hoped that the devils would not come here, so she could peacefully leave the world. She wondered if this wish could be realized.

Zhang Yunyan looked at Black Tiger and lamented sadly. She shed tears.

She looked at the man lying on the ground. He was still unconscious, so she felt sad for his terrible experience.

Yunyan did not know whether this man was little monk Shikong, and there was no way to confirm. She was no longer certain that he was her benefactor Shikong.

This man had long black hair and didn’t wear Buddhism costume, but he wore the clothes of an ordinary person. Also, he wore expensive accessories, so he was not a monk who was devoted to Buddhism.

Zhang Yunyan clearly remembered that on the hillside of Qinglong Mountain that night, when Shikong and the vixen Misty Flower were fighting, he was wearing the Buddhism costume, which was very simple and completely different from that of the man in front of her.

Yunyan was very puzzled. If this man were not Shikong, it would be incredible. This person would be mysterious. Who was he? How could he be in the Devil’s Cave?
