Jay did not expect this kid to be so vigilant. In desperation, he could only slip his identification card through the crack of the door to show that he was not a bad person. Lucas checked the identification card. He was shocked when he looked at the photo on the identification card. Had the future him

travelled through time and visited him?

‘The two of them were ina stalemate for a long time. In the end, Lucas chose to trust the person and opened the door to let him in. The two of them looked at each other and they were stunned for a moment. They looked almost exactly the same. The two of them could not help but kept looking at each

other.

Jay looked at the miniature version of himself. Did he really meet his younger self?

“Hello, uncle.” Lucas greeted him intimately.

“Hello.” Jay Hamilton was a little embarrassed.

The two of them walked to the living room together. On the bookshelf by the side was a photo of Maisy and Lucas. The mother and son were hugging each other happily. It seemed that their life was very happy.

“Uncle, I’m sorry! I was just curious and made a program. I don’t know how I managed to break the security system.” Lucas took the lead to apologize. He knew that doing so was illegal. He thought that he would not be punished too harsh since he was a child. But what if this man thought it was his

mother’s doing? He did not want to cause any trouble to his mother.

“Did you really do it?” Jay raised his eyebrows. He rarely interacted with children, and the child in front of him was clearly his son. Seven years had passed, and he had never given up on looking for Maisy. He had even annulled the marriage that arranged by his parents and focused on his work. He helped

the company prosper just to look for Maisy. He did not expect that he would accidentally find her!

The two of them were silent for a moment before Lucas took out his computer. “Let me show you. I really didn’t do it on purpose.” Lucas wrote another program. This time, he didn’t manage to get into the security system as smoothly as last time. Instead, he was stopped outside.

Jay looked at Lucas curiously. He wanted to see how this kid would solve the problem. After the company’s system went down, the programmers worked overtime to fix it. In the end, Jay set up the program himself to restore the anti-theft system.

Lucas’s chubby little hands moved quickly on the keyboard. He tried several times but still could not break it. The more challenging it was, the more excited he was. After a long time, he still could not break the firewall. “How can this be? I could have done it before.” Lucas looked at the computer interface

in disbelief.

Jay looked at his masterpiece with satisfaction. As the saying went, “The older the wiser”. Lucas was indeed gifted, but compared to an old tech nerd like him, Lucas was still a little inexperienced. Jay Hamilton looked at Lucas with a smile.

“Lknow why you fail this time. Do you want to know the reason?” Jay pretended to be mysterious as he said.

Lucas immediately pounced over and shook Jay’s arm like how he usually did when he was acting coquettishly to Maisy. Usually, his mother would be defeated it if he did that. While shaking Jay’s arm, Lucas blinked his big watery eyes and looked at Jay.

Jay was stunned for a moment. In many ways, Lucas was very similar to him. Lucas did not have his eyes, his eyes were very similar to Maisy’s, pure and beautiful. He could not help but pinch Lucas’s chubby little face.

“Alright, you touched my face. Now, you must tell me the truth!” Lucas said.

Of course, Jay would not lie to a child. He took over Lucas’s computer and wrote a program. Very soon, the firewall was breached. Lucas suddenly realized that he had gone in the wrong direction after watching Jay’s tutorial. Unfortunately, the programmers at the company had to work overtime again

because of Jay’s demonstration…
