Upon returning to the elves' world, Luke asked Rina to divide the elves into groups to make at least fifty of them to give their mana to the crystal at all times. He had a feeling that the remaining enemies would be hard to catch once they find the remains of the battle of the previous night, so that was to prevent problems. Speaking of problems, Luke found her to interact with the Richter group. It was good for her since she spent a couple of months alone before Luke found her, but he also feared that they were planning to get closer to her and then come to the dark elves' world. Luke had a feeling that Richter would soon realize that such a world would need an iron rule since the dark elves were troublesome. Still, the others were naive enough to think that there was always another way. As such, Luke didn't want to deal with them there.

"I'd better talk with her later," Luke thought.

"You are right, they might be useful here, but they will only get on the way there," Shalia said. "You should also warn Danielle not to get infected by their naivety."

"I wouldn't go as far… kids and their innocence needed to be protected," Luke said. "Rather than that, I am surprised you can read my mind like that."

"We have been together for a while, understanding each other is something natural now," Shalia shrugged.

It made sense. Regardless, Luke had some free time and some skills to practice, so he decided to train his control over Earth Manipulation. While he was messing with it, he created some stone swords and spears but never worked like real swords alongside Weapon Augmentation. It was truly a mystery… Just for the fun of it, Luke created some Earth blocks and piled them up together to see how tall they could become, but eventually, it collapsed on itself. The famous square-cube law…

"I suppose this can be more useful on flying fortresses," Luke said.

It was a pain, but since Luke had nothing better to do, he created Earth Walls and then moved them to the fortress. That was probably one of the best ways for the elves to train one relatively good and cheap defensive skill. Still, before telling them to do that, he had to finish the first layer of the walls. Since Rina, Shalia and Amanda were nearby, and they weren't doing anything, Luke had a lot of mana to use.

"May I help?" Nambra asked.

"It depends… are you going to ask me to pull down my pants as payment?" Luke asked.

"My people didn't have the custom of asking that kind of thing as a payment, is that common among the elves and humans?" Nambra asked.

Anyone would think that Nambra was trying to pick a fight, but it was clear that it wasn't the case, given the blank expression on her face. Night elves truly were quite ambiguous and oblivious to most types of feelings. Regardless, thanks to Nambra's help as well, Luke covered the entire outer layer of their flying fortress with Earth Walls… although the fortress already had walls, they weren't that tall since the previous owner never thought he would lose it like he did. Thanks to that, Luke increased his height by fifty meters in a single day. Earth Wall also leveled up to level seven.

"You must be pretty bored if you are doing that," Richter suddenly approached and then said. "I am fully recovered, we can go and look for the remaining enemies."

"I decided to wait for a while to give the elves time to rest, not you," Luke said.

"Well, even if that is the case, they are only three enemies, we can defeat them without the elves," Richter said.

"Getting carried away after leveling up a few dozen times, aren't we?" Luke frowned. "Or perhaps the shadow is finally getting in your head?"

Richter didn't reply to either of those questions. Putting aside what the shadow says to him, he truly felt like he was unstoppable after defeating too many tough overlords. He wanted to keep doing that since they were annoying and because he lost a lot back on Earth thanks to them. That was the only thing he thought that he could do.

"We will need a few days more to let the elves rest," Luke said. "While I am thankful for your help, I am not sure what your goal is in helping them. Their numbers are already too small to let them participate in reckless battles, so we will only depart when I assume that they are at their full power."

"... What is your goal here?" Richter asked. "I didn't think that you were such a goody two shoes."

"You are completely right, I am not thinking about them because I have such goodness in my heart, but because that is Rina goal and thanks to her and Shalia, I survived until here," Luke replied. "So, my current goal is just to repay my debts."

Richter left the area wondering if what Luke said was true. He was strong, but he had no qualms in admitting that his strength came from Shalia and Rina, a good part of it. Despite assuming that he wasn't that strong, he also didn't hesitate in facing enemies much more powerful than had crazy skills and weapons. Richter had assumed that Luke was like him and that they could become friends thanks to that, but he was wrong about one of those things.

"Did you hear that, Richter? That is the guy who is commanding things around here. Defeat him in the right moment and no one will be able to take your place was the leader here. By doing that, you will also get the girl that you want that only has eyes for such a moronic man. Or you can let things stay as they are where you are an Absolute joke."
