Congratulations! You have learned Poisonous Arrow.

It causes half of your INT as damage instantly, and the same amount over the next five seconds. The damage will increase by twenty percent with each level up.

Cost: 10 mana per level.

The set of skills that Luke had was increasing and aside from support, and debuffs, he pretty much could do everything. In any case, it wasn't time to think about that now. Since he had to kill two hundred chimeras, he couldn't pull back his punches. At first, he used his bow without any hesitation and quickly exhausted his mana. While he was waiting for that to recover, he equipped his two swords and began to use Sonic Blade. Since his strength was higher, Luke had an even easier time finishing the chimeras from behind, but only because he was using eighty points of stamina with every single attack. Nevertheless, it was worth the hassle because of the tons of experience and gold coins he was gaining from that hunt.

"Luke… they are finding you faster than before, you are too much into this and leaking a lot of bloodlust," Shalia said while she was freezing the heads of sole chimeras. "It is weird coming from me, but cool your head a little bit."

"Focus on the task, but not think too much about it," Rina said. "Don't get impatient either."

Luke nodded and then attacked the frozen chimeras. He was probably a bit tense because he barely killed one hundred monsters the other times he attacked… He had assumed that he had gotten stronger and used to fighting those creatures, but not so much where he could easily kill two times more monsters in just a few minutes. Nevertheless, things improved a little bit after that.

In the end, Luke managed to reach his quota in half an hour and then left the area. Since he had to take a roundabout route, he only reunited with the others one hour later and while they were faking some smugginess, Luke could tell that they also had to hurry to kill as many as possible without being caught… the fear of an overlord coming from space to kill them also added a lot of pressure.

"What should we do about the loot?" Amanda asked.

"Grab anything that you want to use and we will leave the rest to the elves," Luke replied.

"I will feel bad leaving them with only the weakest items," Amanda said.

"Then you should start by giving your equipment to them as well, show me how big your heart is and how small your brain is supposed to be," Luke said. "Not even Rina is saying unreasonable things about leaving the best to the others."

"That is probably because she messed up the other day and she feels she can't say what she is thinking for a few weeks more," Shalia said.

Luke wanted to believe that Shalia was joking, but then Rina looked away… That wasn't the first time she did that. In any case, they followed Luke's advice after recalling that they had a hard time killing the monsters by surprise. Sometimes, even when they used their best attacks, they failed at killing the monsters and left them raining blood and agonizing. Richter had an easier time,  but his skill required a lot of energy.

"You guys should return to Earth and rest properly in a bed," Luke said. "I will watch this area for the day, but I was thinking that we should attack another battlefield, just in case."

"For what reason would you want to go to another area when we hadn't been found out yet?" Amanda asked.

"Because it will give us some extra time, even if the overlords come to check the battlefield, they won't stay for long," Luke replied.

"I guess I will take on that offer, I was thinking about doing that, but it sounded lame," Richter said.

"Assuming that now doesn't make it any less lame," Rachel frowned.

"Let's not be hasty here, it will require some mana to make everyone return to Earth," Celia said.

"That isn't a problem… you brought them here in the first place, so deal with it," Luke said.

"Sheesh… all right," Celia said after a long sigh.

In the end, aside from Luke's group, the others returned to Earth and that made him think, aren't they taking interplanetary travels way too lightly?

"Luke, that also applies to you," Rina said. "You can always sleep in your house… I can tell that you haven't been sleeping well lately."

"Well, this weather doesn't agree with me," Luke said. "Besides, we need to stay close to out moving fortress. Besides, the mana that we use coming and returning, I could use it to increase my mana four times."

In any case, time passed realty fast and Amanda's group returned feeling and looking reinvigorated. They also confirmed that things were completely fine back home. All that calmness made Luke think that something very troublesome was about to happen on Earth. In any case, the group proceeded for the next few days to interfere with the other battlefields, but once they did that on all of those, the moving fortress… all of them stayed near them to check what was going on.

"All of their guards are raised… we won't be able to keep fooling them," Shalia said.

"We didn't prepare enough, but it can't be helped…" Luke said. "I am planning to attack them now before they leave the planet, or do you want to wait for a while longer, Rina?"

Rina considered their options, Shalia was right, even though they had been pretty careful, the overlords grew wary of the changes.. They probably mentioned to each other a few things about the changes on the battlefield and that made them realize that something was off.
