His name was Rein, and after being raised and trained by Rina's parents, he became their guard when the monsters arrived. He wasn't that good at magic, but his physical strength was way above the normal elves, and he also was pretty skilled with the bow. Still, when he faced the fire overlord, he didn't have the power to do anything… his loyalty was borderline madness, that was why he decided to do such reckless and unreasonable things.

Luke wondered who offered him the power to control those monsters and how he got on his hands a red crystal, but it was too late now. After three hours, Luke's left eye was back, and he didn't feel anything weird with it, so he sighed in relief. Once that was done, he saw the beaten-down elves outside the throne room… Although they were healing themselves, it would take a while before they could walk or do anything else. They didn't remember anything when they were being controlled, but when they checked their status, they realized that they leveled up more than a few times in the last months… Rein probably made them fight monsters. That was why they were exhausted.

"I am not sure if this castle can exist in warm areas, but I guess we can use it to return to the base," Luke said. "What do you think?"

"I… it would be better if you decide that," Rina said.

"What? You want me to become king here as well?" Luke frowned. "I am a guy with few ambitions, and becoming the ruler of any place isn't one of them. You can mourn as much as you want, Rina… but your people are waiting for you. Besides, you already know that I am the least person suited to take your place."

"I suppose you are…" Rina said and then forced a smile.

Luke was pretty pissed at that guy, but at least he let Rina bury him somewhere before they left the area. They became enemies in the end, but once the battle was over, there was no need to keep the animosity… Besides, Luke got some compensation for the problems that the guy caused.

The defensive equipment that Rein had was good, but only for those that fight from a distance. So, Luke decided to sell them on Earth or something. When morning came, Rina talked with the elves about the fact that they were going to another place and that they were going to use that castle, so she would need everyone's mana. Speaking of that, Rina said that the crystal could only summon the specters and the frozen mammoths… that was weird. Since that was the case, how come Rein managed to control that thing?

"I suppose he didn't fly much since he was using his mana," Luke rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"Luke, why don't you check the accessories part of the shop later? I am starting to think that those Crystals can be found there," Shalia said.

Luke frowned upon hearing that… However, if some skill books could be received after completing quests and they were also in the shop, doesn't that mean that pretty much everything related to the system can be found in there? Unfortunately, he used half a million gold coins to learn Necromancy, so he couldn't check the tier ten accessories. If he could obtain at least an upgraded crystal with that amount, then Shalia's theory would make sense. That being said, Luke could buy with 52.000 gold an item called Return Stone. It granted him the chance to memorize the location of a place and return it only once. It would break after a single-use, but it was probably half of what Rina and Shalia's teleport spell could do.

"I will have to check this session later…" Luke thought.

In any case, using the elves' mana to charge the crystal, they began to move, and the elves that had just woken up felt pretty excited while moving so fast and in the sky. Rina still was depressed, so she wasn't showing much emotion. That being said, she stopped at the entrance of the forest where they left Pilaswine. The trip back home was supposed to take five days, but they returned in eight hours… the elves on the mountain showed quite the terror when they saw the castle approaching, but then they eventually calmed down when Luke jumped from it and showed himself. Speaking of that… They had some visitors. Celia, Luthi, Amanda, Richter, Rachel, and Luke's parents were there.

"What the hell…" Luke said.

"Language…" Julia frowned when he heard Luke's words.

"This world is pretty green," Mark said. "So that stands out like a sore thumb. Where did you get that, Luke? Is the same castle Richter mentioned?"

"Rather than that, I want to hear why you all are here… you really like to stay on my bad side, don't you?" Luke asked while glaring at Luthi.

"It wasn't my idea… your mother asked if it would be possible for them to come…" Luthi said. "I wouldn't feel comfortable lying to them."

"We just came to check if you are all right, Luke," Julia said. "We just arrived, but we will return soon. There are many people waiting for us in our base, after all."

It seemed that while he wasn't watching, Rina told Luthi where the new base was located. However, the real problem was the fact that those visitors were thinking that they were on a field trip...

Putting that aside, they had come at a bad moment, Rina was down, and they defeated the underlings of an overlord. They were using their castle to move around.. In any case, Luke explained the situation to avoid problems.
