When the mini Artiuno finally left its egg, it let out a cry that echoed through the entire town. People came to see what had happened and they saw the baby Koriri standing at the top of Luke's head. The creature was already as big as an adult human, so it was quite heavy. Not to mention, its claws were quite sharp, but the creature wasn't putting any strength on its legs.

"Aww, that is pretty cute," Amanda said.

"It looks bigger than the egg already…" Celia frowned.

"Master… please let me take care of this one," Danielle said.

"Aren't you going to get Tame yourself?" Luke asked.

"I can't wait that long!" Danielle raised her voice. "I want a badass monster like that!"

"At least you are honest…" Luke said and then sighed.

Luke wondered what he should do… he was planning to make the baby fight alongside his parents since a monster that could attack and fly from above certainly would be helpful. Besides, Luke could imagine Danielle doing reckless things with a creature that is useful on her side.

"You are to obey Danielle… but if she leaves the town on her own, you are supposed to bring her to me so that I can smack her in the head, okay?" Luke asked. "Your name will be…"

"B4D4SS," Danielle said.

Yes… she said it like it was the name of a game character. Luke was starting to think that perhaps he should change his mind about giving her the monster and when Danielle sensed that while looking at Luke, she decided to correct herself.

"How about, Lillianna?" Danielle asked.

"That is a girl's name, right? You don't know if it is…" Luke said and then he looked toward Rina and Shalia.

"It is a girl," Rina said.

"I seriously can't tell…" Luke frowned. "Oh, well… It was a lucky guess."

Danielle proceeded to take Lillianna to the river… it was obvious that she wanted to make the creature grow as fast as possible so she could fly in her. However, since the people of the town also needed the monster's fish to eat, Luke had to take both of them somewhere else to hunt and feed the creature. Also speaking of power, the creature was born at level thirty… that was quite surprising. Aside from two level-ups in a single morning, the monster also grew thirty centimeters after eating a group of stray Cursed Staurs. Monster biology was truly mysterious… In any case, when he returned, he noticed that his mother and father were looking at an egg and Arcnine while showing complicated expressions.

"You don't need to tell me, it is weird to see a dog-like monster that lays eggs," Luke said.

"At least you aren't lacking common sense," Mark said. "Putting that aside, I messed with the radio transmitter and I heard a few things… and in several of the places Frank had sent his soldiers, the crystals are still there and there are people asking for help."

"What are the chances of being a fake message and Frank is just trying to mess with us?" Luke asked.

"I wouldn't say that is xistent, but it is quite small," Mark said. "If his soldiers went to those places and didn't do anything, then they looked for something else aside from survivors."

"There is also the chance that the crystals just reappeared…" Luke said.

"If that were true, the survivors would have informed me that they lost their chance to escape, but they said that nothing happened in the past few weeks in those places," Mark said.

Luke nodded… it made sense, when a crystal is destroyed and the army of the monsters is almost obliterated, the monster survivors would scatter around and regroup later. At least two or three days would be necessary for them to regroup… it also would give more than enough time for the human survivors to notice that the monster population had decreased. Still… considering how much time had passed, those that didn't manage to gather the strength to escape now, probably won't survive for long.

"I am going to check those places, but it would be best if you don't expect too much from this rescue mission," Luke said. "Where are the places these people are?"

"New York, Chicago and St, Louis…" Mark replied.

Luke was left speechless, he thought that his father was joking since it would take several weeks for him to be able to check those places and then return. He wanted to help his father in doing what he wished, but that was a bit too much. Still, after thinking for a while, Luke realized that it wasn't a bad idea… the work of looking for survivors was a hassle, but everything aside from that… if the monster had made things truly difficult for survivors, then Luke certainly could become pretty strong and then take his next. The next naturally would be to help Rina and Shalia's worlds, but he wondered if his own was in a good enough condition… it probably wasn't. Knowing that, Luke thought of a few options.

"Hey, by going to your world, can I return to my own when I need it or is there some sort of restriction?" Luke asked.

"As long as we have mana it is fine," Rina replied. "I know what you are worried about… to avoid problems, you need some vassals. People that you can count on taking care of things while you stay away."

The world vassals seemed too strong… but he understood the idea… he won't be able to return every day, so the people of the camp needed a strong leader, or leaders that could do his work of leading the others in battle and outside the battles. His father could fit that role perfectly, his mother could support Mark with her magic skills… but only two would be enough?

"What do you think, Shalia?" Luke asked.

"... If I had the chance, I probably would do the same," Shalia replied while looking away.. "I don't feel ashamed for who I am now, but if I had the chance to do so, I would have made my parents stronger to protect themselves."
