The attack didn't end there. Shalia fired Ice Arrow toward the back of the goblin's knees, piercing the flesh and freezing it. Luke turned around faster than the beast and used Stinger again. However, the monster responded to the danger by swinging its shield and protecting its neck and head, the area that Luke tried to attack. The weapon hit the shield, but Luke only made it tremble slightly, and even while frozen, the monster used its right leg to turn and kick Luke in the stomach. However, Luke also reacted on time, so the monster's boot only hit his sword and pushed him back a few meters.

"It seems this creature isn't that skilled… it can only charge in a straight line," Rina said.

No wonder that monster could lead the other goblins against a horde of zombies, even if it wasn't that skilled, the charge alone could kill dozens of zombies, and the monster could do it as many times as it wants!

Regardless, when the monster turned around, Luke greeted the creature with a Spark Ball on the face. The creature blocked it with its shield, and Luke used that change to use Flying Kick and hit its stomach. Soon after, he swung his sword toward the enemy's neck, but the goblin blocked the attack with its sword. The monster swung his sword down toward him, but Shalia fired Ice Arrows toward the monster's wrist, and it slowed it down again, giving Luke the chance to escape.

"I told you, keep going for the legs… but I suppose hitting its wrist isn't so bad," Luke said. "The only problem is that you can't do it every time."

"Yes, it is a common tactic to chop the limbs of troublesome warriors for magicians," Shalia explained.

"Can you cut his hand with your best attack?" Luke asked.

"No… If I could assume my real form for a moment, but that is only something that can happen in a few days," Shalia replied.

Before they could finish that conversation, the monster charged again, but this time his sword still was in a resting position. The creature was being wary of Luke's counterattack, so it couldn't show where it was going to attack beforehand… what a troublesome enemy. When the goblin charged, Luke didn't have any other option aside from using Stinger to the side and dodging the attack. Still, thanks to it, he had the chance to see his parents, Amanda and Celia, approaching. It seemed that they dealt with the other monsters.

Luke had to come up with a battle plan since the charge of the enemy would easily kill any of them… The monster charged again, and this time, Luke didn't have time to do anything aside from blocking and was sent flying again. This time, he felt his elbows cracking because he failed at absorbing the impact… thanks to it, Luke rolled on the ground after landing. The goblin didn't give him a few moments of rest or to get up. He charged again. In the end, Mark blocked the monster's path with his axe, but only for a moment. He was sent flying even further than Luke, and he heard the bones of his father's cracking.

Despite that, Mark got up as quickly as possible. He was an endurance type, after all. Still, he wouldn't survive another attack like that one. The other bought some time for Luke with their ranged attacks, and the goblin was forced to stop and raise his shield. The others had a lot of firepower, after all…

"There is no other way. We have to combine our powers, and…" Luke said and then frowned. "Combine?"

Luke laughed a little after he thought that… how could you have thought something so simple? While the monster was busy with his friends, Luke used Water Cannon on the monster. It didn't cause much damage, but the pressure of the attack made the beast stagger for a few seconds. Now that the monster was completely drenched, Luke used Spark Ball like there was no tomorrow.

The effectiveness of Spark Ball increased tremendously. Around one hundred percent, and each Spark Ball made the beast lose one hundred points of health and paralyzed it completely. Tons of steam began to be emitted by the monster's body, but still, the monster was hanging there, not to mention, its HP still didn't even reach the halfway point.

"Attack with all your might!" Luke shouted.

Luke didn't have many mana potions left, but he began to drink them furiously. The others did the same while they attacked the monsters with their best attacks. When all the water had evaporated, Luke used Water Cannon again, and at that moment, the beast tried to raise its shield, but due to the electric torrent, its reflexes had been affected, and it didn't react in time.

Luke tried to fire spells from both hands to increase the effectiveness of his attacks, but it didn't work for some reason. Maybe he needed skill for that. Nevertheless, after several minutes of nonstop attacks, the monster's body was burned, and he looked even worse than Luke when he faced the Red Fangs. Despite that, Luke and the others didn't show mercy…

Luke fell on his butt when the tension left his body… it didn't last long, but it had been as intense as hell. The difference in strength was so high that despite the fact that Luke didn't kill it alone, he still leveled up three times.
