332 Great Forest Dragon 2

'Dragon!'

It was a sight to behold. They had to stand in awe at such a majestic sight in front. Giant majestic creatures roamed freely across the lands. Large heads began to appear from below the lake, and soon their giant bodies began to emerge from the lake. There were all kinds of dragons with various colors.

"Whoa. Is that a spotted colored dragon?"

Jinpok spoke in awe as he saw the dragon with many spots all over its body.

"I see a striped one too," Joonbum mentioned as he pointed out toward a giant dragon with black stripes moving up.

"So, this is the dragon's nest I told you about. How do you like lit?" Graham asked with a huge grin. Everyone nodded without saying a word. Joonbum, Jinpok, and Doral didn't seem to think it all that weird, but Bijet, mercenary who joined them recently, and Goron and Bolec all seemed dumbfounded that these dragons really existed.

"Grr… so many dragons in one spot."

Hyungsun the werewolf spoke. He looked very tense with all of his fur raised.

"W-well, we found it so we better go back now…"

Goron mumbled with a shaky voice, "B-but one of them could feed thousands… they're so big."

Bijet pointed at the few other dragons.

"Look at that big one. Look at its teeth and claws… that alone will bring us fortune."

"It will be amazing. A claw of that size…"

Bolec then jumped in between the two and their discussion.

"Don't forget it's leather! Think about all we can do with it."

Bijet, Goron, and Bolec began discussing all kinds of equipment that could be made with dragons.

"You're crazy… you want to hunt that down? Impossible. My comrades all got killed by a Jormungand."

Bijet frowned. He had first-hand experience in fighting against giant beasts. Dragons of that size were enough to kill humans like humans killing ants. However, Bijet shook his head.

"No, I'm not talking about that. We can't hunt it, but we can find their dead bodies. There should be those that died from old age or other diseases."

Bolec then nodded.

"Good. That sounds like an idea."

Unlike Bolec, Bijet didn't seem to be convinced.

"Goron, do you think those dragons are just some regular animals?"

"What are you getting at?" Goron asked back with a frown.

"Don't you see? We can communicate with King Kongs. What do you think about dragons? Didn't you see giant monsters like King Kongs and others communicating with its own species? Those dragons will not let us meddle with the dead bodies of their families."

Goron and Bolec then understood. That was truly a fear-mongering thought.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I think they found us."

"Ugh!"

"Wha-!"

Bijet, Goron and Bolec all gasped. Their faces became pale as they noticed all the dragons nearby were now watching them.

"W…we better run!"

"Haha! Don't be afraid. We are like ants to them. They don't care about us," Graham spoke reassuringly. Surely enough, the dragons didn't seem to be bothered by the presence of intruders. They realized humans were around, but that was it. Soon, they began to look away.

'Hm… can we speak to dragons like we can to Kongs?'

Joonbum thought as he looked at these dragons. The reason for his visit was to figure that out in the first place.

[It's possible, of course.]

Joonbum's eyes grew large. It was a voice that came right through his head. A giant dragon looked at Joonbum with a hint of a smile in its eyes. Joonbum couldn't even think about how to react. When he got back to his senses and turned back, Jinpok and Doral were looking at him. And so did the others.

"I heard it too."

"Yeah."

"D-dragon… was that the dragon?"

Jinpok and Doral nodded and Hyungsun Park nodded also. They were all so shocked and speechless. Graham then added, "Shall I tell them our side of the story then?"

Joonbum, Jinpok, and Doral were all surprised. Old man Graham suddenly began to walk forward, and when he was about 20 meters away from the party, his body began to distort. His skin stretched and his body began to change shape.

"Aaaargh!"

"W-what's that?"

"MONSTER!"

Bijet and the others became shocked and froze. Graham soon turned into a giant dragon with two pairs of wings on its back.

"D…dragon!"

"A golden dragon!"

A shiny, golden dragon flexed its four wings as it stood. It was so huge that the other dragons looked much smaller in comparison.

'So, he was a dragon after all.'

Joonbum thought and an answer came right after.

[Think of it as a hobby of mine.]

Everyone became shocked and stood amazed at front of the golden dragon. Joonbum spoke out.

"Why did you reveal yourself to us?" Joonbum asked and the golden dragon looked on calmly.

[Because you are the Emperor of the Empire, and the representative of all surviving humans of this world.]

"W…what?!"

"E-emperor?!"

"E-Emperor Joonbum!"

All of them except Jinpok and Doral became shocked again.

"What do you want from me?"

[We do not want to be disturbed. We will not allow hostility against us. But if you will still proceed…]

He did not add any more words, but it was easy to see what the dragon wanted to add.
