He quickly wrung out a bunch of tree brunch from the weird tree beside him and wrapped them around himself as though he had just been attacked then help the rest escape.

Some of the students were quite touched as they saw the numerous broken branches on Lu Shu and thought that while he was attacked, he still wanted to help others so they felt they misunderstood him!
