104 104 Last Ride of the Evening

"It was worth it in the end I mean just look at how happy the girls are and you can see that it is worth it." Cedric looked down at Yuki. "Isn't that right, Liliana?"

"Always, I do not know how much you two spent on all of this but I am grateful that I got to come here. I hope that you are also enjoying yourselves as well." Yuki had been staring into Cedric's and looked over at Claude and Sephira.

"When I find out how much this must have cost you, I think that I would vomit blood. So please do not tell me the price. I am however having the time of my life. Claude, I want to go win some prizes as well." Sephira smiled at Yuki and then stares at Claude.

"Okay, okay. After we do this we will go and win some prizes. If there is something that you want to ride and it will not do any harm then we will do that as well." Claude scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Welcome to George's gold panning. If each of you is ready I will take you to the running water and we can get started." A young man smiled and bowed to the couples.

"Thank you, I think that we are all ready to go, so please lead the way," Yuki spoke gently and smiled when she was done.

"My name is Henry. I will be your gold panning expert for the evening. If you have any questions or troubles you can ask me." Henry led them to the running stream and passed out the gold panning pans. "This is the pan that you will add the package of sand and dirt into. Inside the package, there is guaranteed that there will be a piece of gold." He handed out the bags of dirt. "What you will do is add the mixture to the pan and then use the running water to slowly swirl the mixture in the pan and you will uncover the gold when you do we will give you a baggie to carry it home in. Happy Panning!"

Yuki giggled, took the bag of sand mixture, and poured it in the pan. "I will need the bag right away, please. This is not my first time doing this." She added a little water and swirled it around and slowly the pieces of gold came to light. 'There are some small specs of gold but there are some decent flakes as well.'

Cedric stood beside her and panned for gold by copying her actions. "You are really good at this. I can see that now that your pan shows the gold flakes. I am not as good as you." He looked down at the pan and saw that it did not look the same but it was a decent try.

"It takes a lot of practice to get this good. I did this for an activity at night with less lighting to help the Granny that was taking care of me. I just wish that she had lived and not passed away." Yuki sighed and used tweezers to pick out all the gold that she could and placed it in the bag she asked for.

Sephira looked at Yuki already pulling out the gold, "How? I do not get how you already have gold."

"I have done this in the past, so it is easy for me to do. I will help you if need be but it is best that you do it on your own." Yuki smiled and twirled the last bit of dirt before dumping it into the water. She placed the pan to the side and moved closer to Cedric.

"Good job, Sweetie. I got a little bit uncovered but not as quickly as you. I am impressed." Cedric looked at Henry "Can I get a bag for the gold?"

Henry walked over and handed a bag to Cedric and went over to Claude and Sephira. "How are you two doing?"

"I'm fine this is something that is fun to do and something new. I might be very good at it but I somehow managed to find a flake!" Sephira showed Henry her pan very proudly.

Claude had pulled out all the flakes from his pan and had been watching Sephira who was struggling. "I am fine. I will take the bags for both of us and we will finish soon enough."

Henry handed the bags over and stepped back. 'This is my dream group of clients, ones that don't complain that they overpaid for this and just pan the gold and finish. It is not every day that I get such easy clients to deal with.'

Yuki placed her hands on Cedric's and slowly moved the pan. "This is how you do this. It is not all that hard but if this is your first time it can be really difficult."

Cedric felt the way that she moved the bowl and when her hands moved he kept up the movements. He picked up the rest of the gold before dumping the leftovers in the water and stacked his pan on hers. "That was a great help, Sweetie. Shall we head to the ferris wheel now?"

"Yes, I am excited to see what it will look like. I know that the darkness will be interesting but I am still excited." Yuki looked at hers and his bags of gold. And then smiled up at him.

"Come and we shall witness the scene together." Cedric led Yuki towards the ferris wheel. "I wanted everything to be amazing for you. How is the evening feeling to you?"

"Absolutely amazing. I can not think of a better way to spend my first half day awake. Seeing the sunset was just so stunningly beautiful. It is too bad that we were not able to get a picture. I would've loved to keep that as a memento for the rest of our days." Yuki looked at Cedric and stopped with him in front of the ferris wheel.
