Chapter 436: Fifth World: Compensating With His Body

There is nothing as embarrassing as being caught with your pants down by the very person you don't want to them know. Well, at least that's what Wen Qinxi felt in this moment.

He shut his eyes and pressed his lips in a straight line while reprimanding himself. It's just that he had such a pleasant dream last night that he couldn't help but want Qie Ranzhe to touch him the very same way like in the dream.

One can only imagine how he felt when he woke up and found Qie Ranzhe's arm wrapped around his waist. Such good things rarely happen and he would be a fool if he didn't take advantage. One can't succeed in life without taking risks thus he chased his nose bleeding son out and snuggled deep into Qie Ranzhe's embrace.

Who would have thought the risk was this high? He was even caught before he could fully enjoy the benefits. Why was he so unlucky?

Wen Qinxi shuffled away but that arm around his waist was like an iron bar, unmovable. An archaic smile appeared on his face before asking, "How long have you been awake?"

"Ever since Xieling accused you of breaking his nose," replied Qie Ranzhe making the nerd blush with embarrassment. It turned out the man saw everything even the part when he chased Qie Xieling out.

Ridden with guilt Wen Qinxi said, "I will go see if he is okay," while attempting to get up but that arm grasped his waist even tighter. It was evident that Qie Ranzhe didn't want him to go. The nerd's pulsing heart almost leapt out of his chest with joy. This was progress, really good progress.

"He is not a porcelain doll plus my cousin will take care of him. You just stay right here," said Qie Ranzhe while reverting on Zhao Zhi with great interest. There were plenty of things he couldn't understand about this man which he usually wouldn't care if it was anyone else. But this was Zhao Zhi a man he was fated with no matter how far apart they were. A series of coincidences brought them together no matter how the distance.

From this angle, Qie Ranzhe could see Zhao Zhi's reddened ear. He had a strong desire to touch it but decided not to just in case Zhao Zhi runs off when he removes his arm around the man's waist.

"Is Wen Qinxi your given name?" asked Qie Ranzhe catching the man off guard. Wen Qinxi didn't know Qie Ranzhe's exact intentions by asking this. In ancient times men were bestowed a courtesy name when they came of age which meant Qie Ranzhe was asking him if Wen Qinxi was his given name and Zhao Zhi his courtesy name.

It didn't make sense to Wen Qinxi why Qie Ranzhe would ask him this when he himself didn't have a courtesy name. There must have been a deeper meaning behind the question.

But that wasn't tha main issue. The major problem here was that Qie Ranzhe knew his name. His real name. Wen Qinxi's body stiffened with a perplexed expression. Qie Ranzhe seemed to sense his uneasiness so he explained, "I heard a fake me call you that before I took you out of that illusion."

If Wen Qinxi wasn't confused then he was most definitely vexed now. 'Wasn't it a fuckin dream?... Shit,' he thought when he suddenly remembered that ominous black shadow. This is when the real panic set in because this man had spent a good time in the most private space of any living person.

He needed to find out how much information this man knew. He truly hoped that stupid AI kept its mouth shut while Qie Ranzhe was exploring his mind like a tourist.

"The voice in your head told me everything and even called me boss one," said Qie Ranzhe trying to incite Zhao Zhi into confessing everything but when he didn't get a response he leaned in closer and whispered into the man's ear, "Don't you have anything to say to me?" If normal means didn't work then why not try seduction?

Wen Qinxi knew that trick. He knew that trick so well and saw it coming. But he wasn't immune and almost spilt his secrets. He really didn't know the consequences of telling Qie Ranzhe the truth neither did he want to risk it. They were already on the fifth world and there was no way he was starting all over again.

If he spent the spring festival in here his real mother would come to GameX with a slipper to beat his ass. So no, he wasn't willing to take that risk.

"Nope, I have nothing to say," replied Wen Qinxi trying to wiggle out of Qie Ranzhe's arm and crawl off the bed. He wasn't down for this inquisition so he decided to run off which was extremely difficult.

Seeing this rabbit struggling to get out of his grasp, Qie Ranzhe felt a little annoyed but he had to let him go. He didn't like the fact that Zhao Zhi kept secrets from him but he could also understand why the man didn't trust him enough to tell him everything.

He wouldn't force Zhao Zhi to tell him everything as long as the man didn't betray him that's all that mattered. He would love to trust the father of his son for Qie Xieling's sake.

As soon as Qie Ranzhe let go of him the laws of physics took effect and he was sent flying off the bed. With a loud thud, Wen Qinxi kissed the floor feeling extremely annoyed. There was only one person to blame for this and that person was currently staring down at him from above.

"Are you okay?" asked Qie Ranzhe with his head at the edge of the bed while staring at him. His concern was coming from a good place but Zhao Zhi didn't seem to think so.

Sure enough, Wen Qinxi got up and scolded the sect leader. "Why did you let go? You know I could have broken a tooth or my arm. How would you have compensated me then?" said Wen Qinxi while putting on his brocade boots.

"But you were struggling so I thought you wanted to get out of my arms?" replied Qie Ranzhe feeling Zhao Zhi was rather comical. This disciple is always hot and cold which is undoubtedly confusing. He should just pick one and stick with it.

Wen Qinxi didn't respond to him feeling at fault. He was so embarrassed that he blamed the sect leader to make himself feel better. Just as he stood up he heard Qie Ranzhe say, "I will compensate you by giving myself to you since I am your deepest desire," in a teasing tone.
