Chapter 56 - Base 2

I looked around, I couldn't find anything, so I shook my head and headed outside with Lucy. While walking I asked," Lucy which equipment you got".

Lucy said," It's a necklace, but I can't see its properties mainly it's sealed".

I asked," what does it mean to be sealed?".

" According to my inherited memories, when a user doesn't have the power to use the equipment and it's still equipped on the user then that equipment is known as sealed equipment", answered Lucy.

I nodded and said," what are the requirements for unsealing the equipment".

Lucy said," some equipment requires alchemy material, while other equipment requires level".

I nodded and asked," what does your equipment require".

Lucy answered," my equipment requires me to grow to tier 4 monster and as my level increases the equipment will also unlock one level seal at a time".

"Lucy how many seals are there in other equipment", I asked.

"Generally there are four seals in red equipment, but some may be unique equipment such as inheritance, which doesn't require any seal and it can be fused with the user and become growth type equipment", she said.

I was shocked hearing the answer, then I said," doesn't this means as long as you become strong your equipment will keep growing".

Lucy nodded and said," it's that, but growth type equipment will absorb some part of the experience so they level up slowly".

I nodded my head in understanding, but then also growth type equipment was something that I must own.

Then I shook my messy thought and claimed out of the cave and next Lucy carried me up.

We reached the camp and it took almost two hours for us to go and return.

Then I rested for some time and said," okay now let's head towards base 2 as it is not far away from here, we can reach within an hour with our speed".

Then we carried the members who didn't have equipment on our back and rushed towards base 2.

After running for an hour we gradually reached base 2. We couldn't see inside the base as we were gradually outside, but the gate was much bigger than base 1. It was almost five meters big and three meters wide. And like that there were at least five gates. Huge walls were surrounding the base. Looking at the scene I had some expectations, as I wanted to look inside how it looked like.

When we came near the gate the guards stopped us, seeing this scene we were puzzled. The guard said," boy so us your adventurer badge".

I took out the badge and showed him, the guard looked at us with contempt and said," hey bronze level adventurer, hmph pay 1 gold coin each and then go inside".

As I was going to pay the coins, an adventurer guild passed by us and the guard said," young master can go, he doesn't need to give tax".

I looked at the scene and said," why do they don't pay tax but we need to".

I looked at this and paid an extra gold coin and said," big brother we are new here can you tell us something about the base 2".

Leo's guild, Sara guild and Lucas guild.".

" Most of the newcomers are absorbed into those groups and now they have many members. So using the name of guild most of the members will act rampantly so be careful of them. There is also a branch of assassin's guild, where you can hire them using some money. The assassin's guild can be used to hire potential assassin's who help newcomers to level up."

"You can go in the base and look out for an inn named Homestead inn, which is the branch inn of the homestead, whose base I don't know, if you want to get information, you can go to the thieves guild. If you want then come to me, I will introduce you to one. Next, there is also a bar, where you can buy wine and enjoy life."

" There is also a top auction house, named Blue Auction house, that sells all kinds of equipment/props/potions/skills, and many other miscellaneous things. Then at the centre of the base, you will find the awakening guild. You can go there to upgrade your level, if you're full and next to it is adventure guild, where you can go and upgrade the badge or get some task". added the guard and the with an n embarrassed expression," my bad when I begin to talk I can't stop so sorry for taking the time".

I looked at him and said," big brother take this extra gold coin, as we know where to go".

I generally got the outline of base 2 by paying 3 gold coins, which doesn't seem to be bad, then with my companions I headed towards the inn.

We soon saw the Homestead inn, it looked eye-catching as the words were written generally looked like a house. We went inside and then talked with the innkeeper and said," miss do you keep house for rent".

I listened to her words and then I said," 70 coins at most or we will have hut leased out as Richard can gradually look at the kids".

Hearing my words innkeeper was silent for a while and then said," ok, let's sign the contract", and I did so and paid her seventy coins and left with her towards the manor.
