[Bonus Chapter 8/20]

"Are you ready?" Creige asked.

"Mmm… Let's go back." Angelica put the book down. She had a lot to think about. Just reading about her parents' past experiences really made her understand what real hardship was. She felt lucky to have a life full of love and protection. This experience made her love her parents all that much more.

"Hold on..." Creige took hold of Angelica's hand and teleported them to the small cottage.

"Angelica!" Both Rain and Yanna came running out of the house.

"Rain! Yana! Oof!" Angelica was tackled square on by her sisters, causing her to fall backwards on the ground.

"Angelica, listen to what I went through!"  Rain began chattering non stop. She couldn't wait to tell Angelica about her heroic deeds.

Creige patiently waited for the girls to finish talking to each other before saying: "Alright, girls let me bring you back to your mother."

With a wave of his hand, the space distorted, and they appeared right in the front yard for their house.  The three girls instantly yelled out: "Mama, we're home!"

*Bam!*

*Crash!*

"My babies!" Kana came flying out of the house in her bath towel and scooped up all three girls into her arms. She was wet from head to toe and still had soup on her body as she hugged her babies. "My precious babies! I'm so sorry! Mama wasn't able to protect you from the evil man over there!"

Creige's face turned black. He turned around so they wouldn't see him pouting. 'He was evil now!? Fine, he was evil!'

"As you have asked, I brought them back within twenty four hours. Will you let me stay inside now?" Creige asked, but when he turned around to look at Kana, he saw her walking into the house with the kids. She turned around and stuck her tongue out as she said: "You can sleep in the girls' room, my babies will be sleeping with me for the next month!"

And with that, Kana closed the door behind her. Creige stood there with a faint smile on his lips. She seemed to be happy now. "You missed a bullet this time. You are lucky she  loves you so much."

"Mmm… No matter which lifetime it is, I will always only love her. Camlia, when she reaches the soulist realm, I will need to ascend to the sea of stars and begin preparing things. I will be taking Sho with me. Stay by her side and protect her for me when that time comes."

"Don't worry, that old bastard will also be taking her as his disciple at that time as well. So you will not have to worry about her safety. But I promise. I will never let something like before happen again. She is my sister, after all." Camlia had already sworn upon her own soul that if she did not protect Kana in this life, she would follow her into the next. In other words, if Kana died, so would she.

"Mmm… I will be counting on you." Creige replied. He was glad Camlia found Kana again.

"You should tell Eie to stop searching, or that poor little thing will die." Camlia said as she walked off. She had no time to deal with the clean up she had to go see her goddaughters!

Inside the house, Kana was hugging and kissing her babies left and right. "Mama has missed you three so much! Did you get hurt at all!? Did that evil man make you do scary things!?"

"Mama! It tickles!" Yana giggled.

"Yeah, Mama! It tickles!" Rain was also laughing.

It was only Angelica that was not laughing. She was desperately holding back her tears. Her mama was such a different person in the stories. But this was the mama she loved the most. "Mama..." Angelica hugged her tightly. It was as if she was trying to make up for the times her mother had lived without love.

"Hehe. Silly girl. I am right here." Kana hugged angelica and kissed her head. "So for the next month, you will spend all your time with Mama!"

"Mmm!" All three answered with smiles. Their mama was the best mama in the whole world!

When Kana said just a month, it turned into three. She played with them and went around the city with them. She took them everywhere she went and slept with them every night. She loved her babies and missed them so much she wanted to spend a lot of time with them to make up for the time they were apart. As for Creige, he was not allowed more than a few meters from her babies. Otherwise, she would roar at him and tell him to stay away.

Although he was basically in the dog house waiting for his wife to finally forgive him enough to spend time with him again, he still smiled, seeing Kana able to live a happy, peaceful life. Creige walked over to his forge and sat down on his stool. He picked up his hammer and held it in his hand as he fell into thought. "If only Devan could be here. I wonder if this was the kind of life he longed for."

When Creige used the forbidden spell and recovered his injured body, the first thing Creige did was search for the ones he sent to be Devan's parents. But when he heard about the life his son lived after Lee died, he went into a fit of rage and almost killed the two demons. As punishment, he sentenced them to an eternity of watching over the statues Devan had made. He hoped to one day bring Kana back to see these statues.

"I did it!!!" Eie suddenly came flying out of her lab and yelled. "I really did it!"

"What the hell did you do?" Camlia, who was teaching Dandan to fight asked.

"I have adjusted the star hopper to detect planets with high concentrations of elements. These planets will most likely be the best candidates for Kana to find elementals!" Eie stood in the sky with her hands on her hips. She stuck her nose in the air feeling very proud of herself.
