Chapter 367: Breaking The System Part 1

"Mmm… Let me think about this on the way. I may figure out a way for the little girl to get into the realm of gods. If not, I will make that old pervert make an exception for her. I just rather not talk to him." Camlia did not want to deal with Old Dan if she did not have to, but she had a feeling since that bastard created the system that is in place now that she may have no choice but to. She knows he did some tinkering with the realm of gods a while back when he implemented the system.

Originally the realm of gods was just another realm of many on the same plane. But at some point, the massive realm was split into sections. And only certain planets in the mortal realm would fall under each section's rule. This same incident had happened to all the eighteen realms that dealt with the gods and goddesses except the realm that laid beyond it. The realm that Camlia was originally from. This realm did not care for the lower realms and stayed out of anything that happened there. As such, those from the Soulist realm were able to do as they pleased with the lower realms. Hence Old Dan created the system that is now law for the realms under his watch.

While Camlia was making her way towards the city of the dead with Old Sa and Mel in tow, Aoi was currently hovering over a black frozen wasteland. Her brow knitted as she hugged herself, feeling the chill run through her body. "If the temperature keeps dropping, I will end up becoming an ice elemental..."

Aoi turned and looked back the way she had come so far. Two months of travel and the thing that had been calling out to her this entire time was slowly getting closer. But she was still worried about what was happening on Kana's end. Her connection to Kana was getting fainter and fainter. "I need to hurry up..." Aoi slapped her cheeks and continued forward as fast as she could. In order to stave off the cold, she vibrated the water element in her body to generate heat.

The realm of gods…

"Handsome Papa, are you okay?" Rain asked as she walked into the forge that Creige had built. She looked at her Handsome Papa, who was just standing there staring at the wall with his hammer in his hand.

"Hmm? Rain, what's wrong?" Creige turned around to see Rain's eyes full of tears as she looked at him. He walked over and picked her up, hugging her.

"Handsome Papa, did something happen to Mama?" Rain asked. Ever since a while ago, she had felt as if something had happened to her mama.

Creige let out a sigh and opened his menu, letting Rain look at it. "You see here. See how it's faint? Your Mama may be in a place that is cutting us off from sensing her. But she is still fine. As long as this connection remains, we will always know that she is alive. Your Mama is strong. We just have to believe in her. As long as we believe in her, she will always pull through. And if something does happen, I will tear the binds of this realm apart and rush to her side, taking you both with me."

"Mmm… Then I will wait for Mama. I know she will return to us..." Rain smiled and kissed Creige's cheek, then hugged his neck. She was still feeling insecure but knowing her Handsome Papa had faith that her mama was okay, then she would also believe it.

"Where is Angelica?" Creige asked. Normally the two girls are inseparable.

"She is on thot duty. Handsome Papa, so many thots keep showing up trying to sneak their way into our house. So it is up to me and my sister to make sure no thots try to steal you away from Mama!" Rain pumped her little fist in the air as she spoke righteously.

Creige smiled and rubbed her head. "As long as you girls are having fun."

"Hehe!" Rain smiled brightly as she giggled. From outside, they could hear Angelica shouting angrily. "Again!? Didn't I just punch your eye the other day? Why the hell are you back!?"

"To think this place was like this… I almost lost all my soul..." Kana had beads of sweat forming on her forehead. If Naru was not with her, she really would have continued to wander in an eternal loop without even knowing it. "But to think this is the place… Naru, will you be able to use this?"

Kana and Naru were currently deep under the city of the dead, looking at a black orb that was emitting large amounts of death element. "I can use a part of this to evolve, yes, but not all of it. I will only need ten percent of the death element this is made of to evolve. But Kana… If you were to use the rest, you would be able to directly become the goddess of death… But we have an issue. We can't move this from this location, or it will become useless..."

"Hmmm? Is that so? Then why don't the two of us take this chance to evolve?" Kana asked. She saw nothing that should stop them from evolving.

"But you may be forced to ascend without Yana if we did..." Naru bit his lip. He knew Kana wanted to bring Yana with her when she ascended.

"Mm… Don't worry. I will not go anywhere without Yana. She will go with me when I go to the realm of gods. Plus, I still need to heal Lysairth remember?" Kana said with a smile. She knew what Naru was worried about. "Go on and take what you need and begin your evolution. I will wait for you to finish before I shed my mortal body..."

"Then..." Naru reached out his hand towards the black orb as if sucking the death element from the black orb, a condensed ball of death element formed within Naru's hand. He then tilted his head back and opened his mouth as he dropped the condensed ball of death element into it.
