Chapter 348: Emotions Like Love Part 2

"That they do. Love is a complicated thing. You love Kana, right?" Creige asked.

"Mm… Kana allowed me to feel wanted for the first time in the lonely life I was living." Aoi agreed instantly.

"You being confused is correct. As Kana is your master and someone who saved you. You are bound to her no matter what. But because of how she treats you like family, you love her back as family as well. Naru is your lover. You will love him differently. But when you have both family and your loved one mixed together, it becomes complicated and confusing. There is no right or wrong in your actions or train of thought. You can only hope things will work out. This time things worked out, but it really took a lot out of both Kana and Naru. It was not just you who learned from this experience either but me as well." Creige normally would not speak like this, but Naru and Aoi were both Kana's summons and were willing to give their lives for her. But when love and loyalty are mixed together, things do get complicated.

"Oh? So the Handsome Husband can be nice to others besides his wife. Not bad, not bad. " Camlia walked into the room with three girls. "These three, I am sure you recognize them?"

Creige brow furrowed." The princesses of the desolate race. Why are they here?"

"I brought them here to serve your wife. You are planning to ascend soon, are you not? You should be looking to grow stronger after what happened just now." Camlia did not need to hear anything Creige had said when he first arrived back in hell. She could tell from the look in his eye that his wish to grow stronger to protect his family was burning strong.

"Mmm... I do plan to do as you have said. I will wait for the babies to hatch, and then I will spend a year with them before leaving." Creige answered honestly.

"Then having three powerful desolate race maids at her side is a good thing, no? Well, in a way, your wife needs to be responsible for them after she fluffed their tails. Anyway, with these three and that bug girl, she will have some guardians who can not only protect your children but watch out for your wife as well." Camlia explained.

Creige thought about it for a few seconds before nodding his head. "Then they can stay. Camlia, let me ask you something."

"Ask away. I will answer whatever I can." Camlia walked over and climbed on the bed and sat down next to the sleeping Kana, and stroked her still white hair.

"Why do you care so much for Kana?" Creige couldn't understand. There should be no reason for Camlia to take such a liking to Kana.

"It looks like her hair will go back to normal before she wakes." Camlia said, not answering Creige's question right away. She turned and looked at Creige and let out a sigh.

"It's a long story. Are you sure you want to know?" Camlia asked.

"I do. The more I know, the more I can prepare for the future." Creige answered.

"I can explain things, but you can not let Kana know. This is for her own good and development. The ancient ruler of hell has already told her some things but only what they were allowed to tell. They were originally supposed to be still ruling hell, but things happened in ancient times. And somehow, things turned out how they did. Someone else would be ruling over hell, and you would never have seen me if I was not tossed into hell by that bitch. Anyway, the thing you need to know most is that Kana's soul is one that has reincarnated many times. She is what is called an anomaly. Someone who will never die. If she were to die now, even if her soul was destroyed, it would once again appear in some shape or form.

"The realms that you see here like this one where hell ends and the highest one the soulist realms where the gods dream of going.  Each way has eighteen levels and eighteen paths. But beyond both, no matter which way you go, there is a nineteenth level. It's a true place of wonders where many beings roam. Good, bad. Righteous, evil. It doesn't matter. What you see is split between the eighteen levels of gods realms and hell. Is completely mixed there.

" Countries, kingdoms, even whole oceans could be there one day, and then the next morning it would be gone. Wiped out just because a powerful being wanted to destroy it. You see, the system you all use is nothing more than a by product of that old bastard Old Dan. He created it in order to entertain himself. Like I have one that is different from all of you because Old Dan and I collaborated on the system I have.

"But like systems are nothing really. You can even go to different worlds and find out that systems do not exist there. With all that said, this is where Kana comes in and why she is so different. She is something outside the basis of things. As she grows in strength, things will slowly change for her. Her system will also change to evolve with her. But no matter what, Kana is still Kana. I will leave it at that so you can take it all in but remember, do not mention any of this to her. It is best for her to follow her own path. But to fully answer your question, let's just say in one of her last reincarnations, she saved my life. So I will protect her no matter what." Camlia finished what she had to say before walking out of the room.

Her words leaving many more mysterious. Creige's mind was turning, but when he looked at Kana's face, he cared not for her past or what lives she had. He only cared that she was with him here and now. He then looked over at the three girls that Camlia had brought in and shook his head. "When did she even put them to sleep?" The three girls were all slouched on the ground, sound asleep. Even Aoi was passed out. Just knowing that Camlia could do all this without him detecting sent shivers down his spine. "I really hope I never piss her off."
