Chapter 285: How To Destroy A Planet

"This building is much taller than I imagined..." Kana has seen skyscrapers before on earth, but this was beyond that. It was a tower that stood as tall as the mountains.  If you were to stand at its base and look up, you would find it hard to see the top. In all of its surroundings, where all the other buildings were collapsed, it stood tall and strong as if it was the ruler of this land.

"Is it just me, or are there flashes of light coming from that building?" Camlia pointed towards the mid section of the tower.

"Shit, the defensive detection range must have been extended at some point! It locked on to us!" Mary's face paled. She knew just how destructive those weapons were. She feared not even Kana could stop them!

"Haha! You think this queen of hell is afraid of some puny light!? Come at me! Give me all you got!" Camlia stood in front of everyone laughing away. The light, which was actually a laser attack, quickly arrived only to be batted back towards the tower with a simple flick of Camlia's fingers. Unfortunately, the laser was not able to do any damage to the building since it was blocked by the barrier surrounding it. "Damn it! Why is everything in this world so damn weak!?"

"Big Sister, it is because you are too strong and powerful." Kana said as she reached out and rubbed Camlia's head.

Camlia accepted the head patting with puffed out cheeks. "Humph! We need to hurry up and finish our business here. This place is no fun."

"That is the plan!" Kana said as she carried Mary and flew towards the building. Creige and Camlia followed after them.

The barrier that was used to keep the enemy out and monsters at bay shimmered in front of Kana's group. "I can't break this..." Kana did not even need to try to break it to know she would fail.

"Me neither..." Creige frowned. He never expected to come across something like this with how weak the other weapons were.

"It's not surprising. This barrier uses the planet's core as its energy source. So it would be much stronger than anything else on this world." Mary explained.

"Wouldn't that just suck the planet's core dry? They are basically destroying their own planet by doing this. I shall help them along." Camlia suddenly said. She reached out with her little hand and poked the barrier. "Hold on!"

Kana had a bad premonition as she quickly pulled Mary to her, while Creige grabbed hold of Kana and flew up into the air.  Camlia's frilly dress fluttered as if she was caught in a tornado. Waves of energy shot out in all directions as the barrier went from being a thin transparent blue color to bright red. Camlia was forcefully injecting her power into the barrier and sending it to the energy source of the barrier, meaning the planet's core itself!

Clouds began to form overhead as the ground began to shake violently. Deep down underground in the Jokasins Empire main city in one of the tallest buildings, twenty old men sat in a room. "What is causing this shaking!? I thought the movement of continents stopped a few thousand years ago!"

"This is not as simple as some kind of earthquake! We have gotten word that the planet's core seems to be gaining an extreme amount of power, and it is not able to handle it all." An old man yelled as he tossed a bunch of papers out in front of everyone.

"This… What is the cause!?" Someone else asked.

"Take a look at this..." One of the other old men hit a button, causing a large screen to drop down from the ceiling. On it showed the image of a young girl with a black lolita dress on poking the barrier that was now a crimson red.

"What is she doing!? What is she!?" Someone yelled.

"I think she comes from a dungeon. Look here." Another image appeared showing three people, one of them some of the old men recognized as the person who was wanted many years back for turning traitor.

"Damnit, does she wish to kill everyone just because of what happened!? Why the fuck didn't Branson make sure, she was dead. Now we will all die!"

"Hah! You old men have no idea... " A female voice came from outside the room. The door opened, and a woman in red walked in. She looked nothing like those in the room. She was clearly of a different race. "I worked so hard to help you gain all this technology, and here you are about to die. Sigh, this experiment has gone all wrong. Unfrountantly, I can not help your planet in this situation, that little girl is out of my league. Not that I would have helped you anyways. But since I am here, I can at least collect your souls so I can do another test.  Be happy, although your bodies will be gone, your souls will still be of use. Although it might be a tad painful."

"You! Why would you!? Ahhh!!!!!!"

The woman smiled as she waved her hand. The twenty souls of the old men floated over to her. She then kept them away into a container that looked like a lantern. She then turned her gaze at the people on the screen. "Let's hope you do not interrupt my other plans." As she said this, her body suddenly shattered into balls of red lights and disappeared.

"Oh! Ho! So I can destroy a planet! Hahaha! Kana, look, the whole world will blow up soon! Hahaha!" Camlia was laughing away like a maniac as the ground broke up and columns of magma began to shoot into the air.

Kana looked at Mary and asked: "Is this good?"

"Yes. More than just good. From the day I was shunned for being slightly different I had wished for this world to be destroyed. Kana, Creige, Camlia thank you."
