Chapter 582: Merging Of Two Godly Powers Part 1

Little Cal was in quite a predicament. He was currently sitting in a large bath filled with soothing hot water. Now, this would not be so bad if it was just him sitting in this large bath. No, it wouldn't be bad at all if he was alone. He could sit back and relax and enjoy the hot water penetrating his skin. The problem lay with the place he was sitting and the company he had with him. Yes, the place he was sitting was a huge problem. Two slender white legs could be seen extending out past his body. And if he leaned back, two balloons would cushion his head. The damn woman who got ahold of him was completely treating him like a true five year old! She made him bathe with her. No matter how much he struggled with one stern look, he was pulled in. She even said something about little boys should not be scared of being clean.

The shame he had endured for so long was starting to whittle away at his manly pride! She was even washing his hair and humming a soft tune as she did it. He had tried to explain to her many times that he was not some little boy, but no words seemed to get through! She just chuckled and flicked his forehead.

To make things worse, he had started answering when she called him Little Cal! Little Cal lowered his head and shook it slightly. He was depressed. He never thought that after all these years of living, he who was seen as the genius of a lifetime was now being treated as a common five year old boy.

"Alright, let's get out," Yana said as she lifted Little Cal up and placed him on the edge of the bath before standing up herself. Poor Little Cal could only turn away red faced at the shameless woman.

He endured and endured. As the days passed, Little Cal found that no matter what he said, his words were brushed off as a little kid's imagination. When he called her damn woman, she would spank his bottom. Yes, he was spanked, spanked until his bottom was as red as an apple. Humiliation filled him. And even though he had the strength to kill this woman, he could not bring himself to do it! She was kind and caring. She was truly treating him as her son. She cooked for him and even told him stories at night. He even slept for the first time in thousands of years!

When a year passed, Little Cal finally gave in. His mentality seemed to have regressed, and he was now truly treating Yana as his mother. Although he still knew he was more powerful, he began to enjoy the pampering and spoiling this woman rained on him. As he thought about how much he resisted in the beginning, he couldn't help but chuckle. He walked out of the palace to see his new Mama, playing with Socks. "Mama!" Little Cal called out as he ran over to Yana, who was teaching Socks tricks.

Yana turned and smiled as she saw the little boy running over to her. She held out her arms and hugged the little thing, and picked him up. "You should be careful not to trip when you're running. It will hurt if you fall."

"Mmm... I will listen to Mama's teachings." Little Cal said while nodding. There was no longer a trace of disgust.

"You know, Little Cal, I have been here a year and still do not know what I am supposed to do to become the Goddess of War. I am already the Goddess of Beginning, so I am not sure if I can even be seen as the Goddess of War. " Yana had been confused by this for a while now and had no idea what she was supposed to do. Only by completing this task will she be able to truly say she completed the mission that the old man gave her.

"Ah! Mama, I forgot! Go to the warrior hall with the statue. The biggest statue at the end is the God of War. There is a secret passage there that leads to the inheritance room." Little Cal had been so caught up in the changes to his life that he had forgotten all about her passing the trial. She had the right to the inheritance. It was just that…. "Mama, be very careful as this inheritance will not be easy to get."

The pain he remembered back then was not something he ever wished to deal with ever again. When he first got the inheritance, the room was filled with skeletons of those who tried before him. But they all suffered and died, their souls shattering in the process. He was kind of reluctant to let Yana go through with it now that he was so used to her presence.

"Mama, this trial..." Little Cal wanted to say no, don't go, but when he saw the determined look in her eyes, he swallowed his words.

Yana looked down at the little boy in her arms, who had a worried look on his face, and smiled. She kissed his cheek and squeezed his nose. "Trust your Mama. I am much stronger than you think."

Little Cal's whole head blushed. It was only at times like this that he would curse Yana for being shameless. Yana went to the warriors' hall and to the biggest statue of the god of war. Or the representation of what the god of war should look like. This is because, said god of war, was being held in Yana's arms. Sighing, Little Cal waved his hand, causing the statue to begin to move backward. "Down these stairs is the inheritance room. You will need to go in alone from here."

Yana nodded and set Little Cal down. "Alright. Behave. Mama will be back soon." After ruffling his hair Yana turned and decisively walked down the stairs.

"Stupid woman you better come back safe..." Little Cal smoothed out his hair and stared at the retreating back of the young woman. Once it disappeared he looked up at the ceiling and raised his little fist. "You old bastard, you better not let anything happen to her!"
