Chapter 526: The Evil God Part 2

"Kana, it's all set," Eie announced as she entered the main control room. She had successfully hooked up the galaxy cube to the ship so that the ship could draw power directly from it.

"Thank you, Eie," Kana said with a smile before turning to Tri'an. "Tri'an, I need your ability to see ley lines to help find the memory fragments of my past lives. The old man said I needed to search for those as well. While my top priority is gaining power, I figured I could at least try to search for the memory fragments as I leveled up."

"That is easy enough. As of now, I can already sense one fragment, and it is not too far from our current position. I can not tell you the exact location, but if you go in the direction, I tell you I can take you there." Tri'an replied.

At this moment, Kana was thanking the old man for allowing these four to join her.  And she understood why he allowed them to come. Tri'an was perfect for helping her find her memories. Eie was perfect for running the ship while she was not around. Misaki was a perfect guard for Bell, and Lysairth was her emotional support. Each one played a key role in the journey that she was embarking on.

Kana directed Eve to follow Tri'an's direction and within a few days had arrived outside the planet that the memory fragment that Tri'an talked about was on.

Kana teleported herself out of the shop and the void they were in and stood out into open space. In her menu, there was a new passive skill called Air Field that created a bubble of breathable air around her while she was in space. Standing beside her was Aoi who looked eighteen now, Naru who looked like a young man around fifteen years of age, Ganjo looking like his normal rocky self, and Aruya, who still looked the same.

Aoi was now much more powerful. She had acquired control over fire magic, death magic, earth magic, and holy magic, along with her water magic. It seemed the old man helped her understand what it meant to be the empress of all elementals. That with just a little practice, she would be able to learn any of the elements as long as they were connected to Kana. This meant that Aoi was also counting on Kana to get more elements so she could learn them as well. This did not mean she could not learn them from elsewhere, but it was easier if the elemental was part of Kana than an external source.

"It looks beautiful..." Aoi said as she looked around. The blinking stars off in the distance were truly awe inspiring when you saw them from space itself.

"It truly is majestic. Even when looking out the windows of the ship, it seemed like you were not among the stars, but now standing above a planet hovering in space with my own body, it makes everything really feel different." Aruya began spinning in a circle like a ballet dancer. She was truly enjoying herself.

"I don't know about you, but I feel a bit queasy..." Naru was hunched over, holding his stomach. It seemed the weightlessness was making him sick.

"I just feel weak. While the sights are good, there is no earth beneath my feet..." Ganjo was also feeling off.

"Alright, let's head down to the planet then." Kana took both Ganjo and Naru by the hand and began to fly down to the planet. As they entered the atmosphere, they were hit with an intense wave of heat. Aoi easily dispelled it by forming a water shield in front of them.

After breaking through the atmosphere and through the clouds, they came upon a planet full of life. Just below them was a massive city with a tall castle that was bigger than any castle that Kana had ever seen. But one thing she noticed was that off in the distance, there was a familiar feeling, and it was coming from an area covered in dense dark clouds. But as they continued to descend, Kana lost sight of that area as the horizon hid it from view.

"Well, I have a general direction, but we should find out what is happening on this planet for the time being. That dark area looked as if something bad was happening. Ganjo, Naru, you two will need to go into hiding for the time being. Your appearances will not…. Nevermind." Kana was going to have both Naru and Ganjo go back into their space, but when she looked over, they were in human forms. Ganjo actually looked like a handsome young man in his twenties with short brown hair, while Naru looked like a young teen Asian boy from Earth.

"That old man taught us a lot and was preparing us for journeying with you. Haven't you noticed that Ganjo speaks much better now? And that he has been spending time in the library on the ship? It seemed when Ganjo formed in the realm of gods, he was not fully complete. While he took on the form of an elemental, his knowledge center was unable to completely form. The old man fixed it for him." Naru explained.

"I did notice that he always had a book in his hand. So Ganjo, you are the scholarly type?" Kana asked.

Ganjo rubbed his nose in embarrassment and nodded his head. "Once my knowledge center was fixed, I have been enjoying reading. The old man allowed me to enter his library, and I read every book there, including the ones he tried to hide."

"Then I will be counting on your knowledge then," Kana said with a smile.

The group flew down to a spot that was secluded and landed within a forest not far from a small village. "Kana, someone is there," Aoi warned.

"Ahh! Please don't eat me!" A young boy dressed in rags came rolling out of the bushes in front of them. When he came to a stop, he quickly curled up into a ball and covered his head. "Please, I did not know this was demi territory! Please don't eat me!"
