Chapter 194 - I Do

Name:Psycho X Psychic Author:JhiThan_Ser
"Has the sensation of pain dulled for you?"

Nature asked as if curious.

"No, it still hurts."

"You're not only treating Spirits as objects but yourself too. You should develop self-love and self-care."

"Stop with the nonsense. What are you here for?"

The Empress asked with a cold tone. Even though Nature holds her life right now, she wasn't scared, instead, she was accepting and was a bit stubborn.

"As I said, I'm here to tell you something, Neera."

"Neera?"

The Empress exclaimed as she gasped.

"Isn't that your name?"

"... do you know everything?"

"Of course not. I just know some thousand possible futures that have the greatest chances to occur in the future. Almost everything in the past... and some in the present."

"In short, you know everything."

"Ah... yes, in short."

"What are you here to tell me? Is it about the Devil Himself?"

Nature shook her head.

"Not everything is about Teren, Neera. Although he will be of concern to you in the near future."

"Just tell me."

"Okay, but... don't you want to talk in the new gazebo I made? I can make you some tea."

Seeing that she no longer has any choice, the Empress could only follow with reluctance. Nature turned around and led Empress to the location where she and Teren talked back then.

Little did the Empress know... they would walk for hours.

Meanwhile, it was already noon so Teren and Seres grabbed themselves a lunch. After a few more games and rides, Teren was confident that everything was going well!

... almost.

If Teren can disregard what happened about Seres' concern about the children, then everything is going too well. He feels that there's something wrong.

However, that wasn't Seres' fault in Teren's eyes. For now, they should just enjoy the day.

"Is there a place where we can leave our prizes?"

Seres looked at the mountain of prizes they have gained by demolishing each booth with prizes on them. They have received some fame that other booth owners that heard of them have taken a risky move... closing their booth for the day.

Only a few smart or fearful booth owners did that. Others just laughed at the 'rumors' calling it baseless before getting hit by the 'storm' in regret.

"Let's look at the entrance later."

"Okay"

Although Seres spoke as if she was treating the mountain of prizes as a bother, Teren knew that she's actually fond of them. How could he tell? Well, the opinionated Seres would've stopped participating with Teren in demolishing the booths if she didn't want the prizes. In other words, she's actually having fun!

At least in Teren's head.

"It would be hard to try other rides with a full stomach. How about we go sightseeing after this?"

Teren suggested.

"Okay, but is there any place worthy of sightseeing here?"

They just finished ordering for their lunch. Towards Seres' question, Teren pointed at the table itself.

"Look"

"Oh, it's the map of the FunPark."

Seres looked with interest.

"Look at the road here. It says that this is where they usually have parades at around 1 PM."

"1 PM... shouldn't it be hot then?"

"They have sheds and stands that offer cold drinks."

"What a scam. What if people seriously got heatstroke?"

Teren just smiled. Why would he care about the other people? But he didn't say it out loud in fear that Seres will detest him any further.

Speaking of detest, Teren might be just being over complacent but he doesn't sense any actual scorn, hate, or just like what he thought - detest. Being aware of this, he wanted to be careful. But he couldn't help it. He was having a blast just being with his younger sister again.

Just how many years has it been since they've been together like this?

Teren was glad and certain, he still love Seres. Of course, this love is different from the romantic love towards Iesa.

If Teren have to choose, he would choose Iesa over Seres. That is only if he had no choice. That's the reality of things. However, he would do anything not to get to that point.

After they ate, they got to a place where they can leave their belongings, reducing the burden of dragging them along every time.

They saw the parade together, tried other rides after resting, and it was already afternoon. Even though they have tougher bodies than the ordinaries, the two were rather spent from the day.

'This is not bad at all...'

Teren thought while they went to a cafe and sat outside. They wanted to end the day by drinking Seres's favorite drinks and snacks after a whole day of exploring the park.

Right now, the two of them wore glasses, hats, and t-shirts from the park. Teren didn't have the ability to control himself from buying the two of them tons of stuff. As long as it's not actually expensive, Teren didn't hold back from buying. Since Seres didn't decline, nothing stopped him.

After ordering for the last time, Seres placed down the glasses she wore and looked at Teren with serious eyes.

Sensing the atmosphere, Teren dropped his glasses as well.

"Teren, I want to ask this for a long time. I... don't want to know the answer... really..."

"What is it?"

Teren suddenly felt heavy on his chest. When he thought that everything was going well, this happened. It's to be expected, actually. But Teren just temporarily believed that everything's fine.

Since the day is going to end. They finally have to talk about the important things.

Teren wanted to ask a lot of things too. However, this time, he will satisfy Seres' questions first.

"I just learned this recently... I didn't want to believe it but... " Seres looked down again with a sad expression.

Teren prepared himself.

"Do you have a 'farm' just like what the others say you are?"

"Farm?"

"It's unfitting to call it just... a farm. It's too evil to be called such an innocent name. But you should know what I'm talking about, the inferno. Are you cultivating hell?"

Do you mean the Spirit Farm?

Teren wanted to ask but it seemed stupid to actually say that. There was only one reply. He had to be honest.

"I do."

He looked straight at Seres' eyes and saw them get betrayed.

Seres immediately lowered her head about a brief pause.
