The middle-aged woman looked like she had led a pampered life. She wagged her fingers, ceaselessly nagging at Lu Yiyun.

Lu Yiyun was at a loss for words standing behind the counter with her head hung low.

Zhang Zian was slow to enter the store as his attention was caught by the luxurious car parked outside. Snowy and Vivi had entered the store and witnessed the scene before him, Snowy couldn't remain silent and said: "Are you here to buy something or are you here to pick a fight? Why can't you speak nicely?"

Snowy's voice was crisp as she spoke with great confidence, instantly drowning the woman's voice.

The woman was displeased as she turned her head, sized up Snowy and said, "What has this got to do with you? Are you the owner of this shop?"

Snowy wore a simple jacket with a pair of jeans, but Vivi wore a high-end wool coat with a shawl, which made the woman think twice.

The woman knew that the two young girls couldn't be the store owners, so she thought that her question was enough for them to back off. Unexpectedly, Snowy immediately replied, "Why couldn't we manage the shop?"

"You think the two of you have the right to meddle in my affairs?" The lady rolled her eyes and the little boy she held also laughed.

Zhang Zian came into the store, saw the situation and asked: "I'm the store manager, what's going on? Is there anything you need?"

"You're the store owner?" She left Lu Yiyun and the others alone to turn her focus on Zhang Zian and sized him up.

Zhang Zian was even more ordinarily dressed, wearing a pair of jeans, a turtleneck sweater, a fleece jacket, and dirty sports shoes. Everyday he had to maintain the cleanliness of the store and deal with the chance of stepping on dog sh*t, so what was the use of wearing nice shoes?

"That's right." Zhang Zian gave a look that said he wouldn't be messed with.

Not all customers that came into the store were friendly. Occasionally there were those that would deliberately make things difficult, relying on the fact that they had money. They thought that they should be treated like royalty.

With Zhang Zian standing up front, Snowy pulled Vivi over to the side and stood there watching silently.

The viewers of the broadcast assessed the woman who was covered in jewels.

"I've heard that yours shop is able to find pets that other stores can't, so I came over to take a look, but this is all you have?" The woman started giving orders, "Do you have other pets? If you do, bring them out!"

Zhang Zian knew how to deal with difficult customers, so he calmly said, "I do indeed have other pets, but they usually aren't on display. What kind of pet were you looking for?"

The rich woman snorted as she opened her designer purse and slowly took out a tiny puppy. "Good boy! Come out and play."

Her bag wasn't big, no one would've thought that a dog was hiding in there. Both the people in the shop and the viewers of the broadcast held their breaths as they stared at the dog in the rich woman's hand.

Vivi exclaimed, "What breed of dog is that? Why is it so small?"

Zhang Zian recognized that the dog was a Teacup Poodle. It isn't really a puppy, it's actually an adult, but it was smaller than a regular poodle. Young girls like Snowy could easily hold them with both hands, while adult males like Zhang Zian could hold them with one hand.

It opened its big, black eyes, and with its long dishevelled hair making it look like it just woke up, it was as cute as a doll.

The rich woman held the dog in her arms like a baby. "Do you see this? My friend brought it over from America, she let me have it for a few days. This little guy is just too cute. After playing with it for a few days, I couldn't stand the thought of returning it, so I had planned on buying a similar dog for my friend. Do you have any teacup puppies here? It doesn't have to be of the same breed, it just has to be small. The smaller the better!! Money isn't an issue!"

She didn't genuinely like the teacup poodle, she just liked the fact that whenever she took it out, it always marveled the people around her. She knew that her gold chains and her luxurious car no longer made anyone envious. People were even starting to say things behind her back, so she was eager to find something else to make her popular again.

Snowy and Vivi liked cats, but the dog was too cute to ignore. It was very obedient, it didn't bark or cause a scene, it just quietly laid in the arms of its owner. The girls couldn't take their eyes off it.

"Mama, I want to play with it!" The little boy screeched as he pulled on his mom's arm.

"Here." The rich woman handed the dog over to her son, then she turned and asked Zhang Zian, "So, do you have it here? If you don't, then say so. I don't want to waste my time here."

Snowy was aware of Zhang Zian's connections with the American pet industry, he was able to get a rare Abyssinian cat and an expensive Ashera Cat, so she had great confidence in him. She was also pretty fond of the dog, so if Zhang Zian was able to get his hands on them, she wanted to get one too.

Unexpectedly, Zhang Zian shook his head. "Sorry, we don't have it here. You might want to go somewhere else."

The rich woman let out a cold laugh of contempt. Just as she was about to say something, the dog let out a wail of excruciating pain. It escaped from the little boy's hands and was about to fall head-first onto the floor when the little boy stretched out his hand and grabbed it by its hind leg.

However, the wailing didn't stop and the dog struggled even more. It seemed like it was in a lot of pain. Its hind leg was bent at a weird angle, like it was fractured or dislocated.

Both Snowy and Vivi screamed and covered their eyes. They couldn't bear watching the dog suffer in pain.

"You little b*stard! Why couldn't you be more careful?" The woman angrily raised her hand to slap her son.

However, she didn't swing her arm down because Zhang Zian had grabbed her wrist.

"If you'd like to discipline your child, please do so outside," he said as he pointed to the door.
