Name:Pet King Author:Jie Po
Many people have had a similar experience. If someone was starved for a long time and suddenly got food, they were unable to eat enough regardless of how much they ate. The same was true for Famous. He was so hungry he couldn't wait for breakfast and decided to run down the stairs. With a grimace on his face, he grabbed the dog food that Zhan Zian was staring at. However, it wasn't enough food to satisfy him. After eating, Famous pulled another bag of unopened dog food from the shelf, tore it open and gobbled it down. His mouth was stuffed with food.

As the saying goes, eating anything sweet while you're hungry tasted like honey, and eating honey when full wasn't sweet. The more Famous ate, the more fragrant the food was. He felt like his stomach is like a bottomless pit; he could eat as much as he wanted.

He unexpectedly ate until he felt so full that he could barely stand straight. He could only lie on his side and wait for the food to digest. Even when Zhang Zian opened the foam box, the smell of roasted meat throughout the store was unable to stimulate his appetite again.

Fortunately, he already drank a lot of water after waking up in the morning. Otherwise, it may become the first elf to die from eating too much.

The other elves began to eat breakfast, although it was more like them gobbling it down. However, they ate much more elegantly than Famous did while the clerks began to clean the store. Since the insect disaster was almost over, customers were more likely to come.

Famous laid down and watched calves of different sizes walking past him. He listened to Zhang Zian and the rest talk about an invisible butterfly. His eyelids gradually drooped as he unknowingly entered the dreamland; this was commonly known as sleeping after eating.

"Brother Famous, are you awake?"

Famous opened his eyes again and saw the younger version of Old Time Tea standing in front of him with a smile.

"Brother Famous has been away for a long time, and I was worried that you wouldn't wake you up. Fortunately, everything is well now!" Old Time Tea said, pointing to the food basket on the side. "The Wu family sent some potatoes and bacon over. I didn't know when Brother Famous would wake, so I ate first. Please don't be mad at me..."

Famous trembled a little and stood up. Although his belly was empty, what was this inexplicable nausea he felt?

"No, I don't want to eat right now ..."

He noticed that there was something next to him. He turned around and was shocked by what he saw. He then took two steps back, "You ..."

A black-and-white kitten stood a few steps away and raised its front paw. "Meow... Good morning, Famous..." it greeted him.

"Oh, Xinghai was one step ahead of you and got here first. I'm ashamed to say that I didn't even notice when it came." Old Time Tea explained.

Famous looked suspiciously at Xinghai. This Xinghai seems to be... closer to the one in the pet shop.

"Meow... Shall we play hide-and-seek together?" Xinghai turned to scan the open space in the forest. The empty environment made it eager to run around.

"No, I want to eat!" Famous resolutely refused, running towards the food basket. He would rather eat while feeling nauseated than play hide and seek.

He still missed the Xinghai that used to catch butterflies ...

The potato was roasted just right, though the outer skin was a little scorched. Nevertheless, the inside was soft and fragrant after peeling the skin away. Eaten with good bacon, he felt as if his nausea was slowly going away with every bite.

Xinghai walked around in regret, looking around strangely. It seemed to be its first time here.

Old Time Tea saw that Famous was rushing and advised from the side, "Brother Famous, eat slowly. I have already eaten, so I won't steal your food..."

Famous learned from the previous dog and didn't eat too much. He stopped in a hurry, although the so-called former dog was itself.

"Brother Famous, what's the reward for this trip? Now that you have returned safely, does that mean you've succeeded?" Old Time Tea was cultured. Although he may have already known the result, he still patiently asked what happened.

Famous pushed the food bowl to the side and burped. To avoid being asked to play hide-and-seek again by Xinghai, he had to find something to do. Thus, he explained in detail the causes and consequences of the entire episode. Old Time Tea listened intently.

"Oh... I see."

To the young version of Old Time Tea, the unbelievable story sounded almost like night and day. However, for Famous to be able to recall it in detail, then the story must be true.

"Fortunately, things turned out well. Zhang Zian was able to act according to the circumstances and got away. Of course, everyone was able to help him. It is gratifying," Old Time Tea said with relief. "Unfortunately, I didn't seem to be able to help much. I regret it so much... "

"Don't say that," Famous shook its head. "Old Time Tea, you are too humble. If you didn't urge him to study hard and practice hard every day, his body wouldn't be so well-conditioned. He might've have taken longer to realize that he was in a dream."

The other elves helped Zhang Zian visually regain his memories. Only Old Time Tea's method was unique; a person who never learned self-defense could suddenly knock down a few punks. If they were not stung by spiders, they would naturally have been suspicious.

"Compared to this, what I want to know..." Famous called out for Xinghai, who was walking everywhere, and asked him, "Xinghai, I want to ask you... did you really not predict the appearance of the Butterfly Elf? Or…"

Famous had always been suspicious and wondered. Why did Xinghai, who could have predicted the future, let the butterfly elf appear and pull Zhang Zian into the dream? Although the butterfly elf was indeed outrageous, it seemed to be on the same level as Xinghai. Given that, it looked like... Xinghai did this deliberately.

It must have predicted that the Butterfly Elf could not hurt Zhang Zian and would even help him get rid of the demon. Doing so would've made him closer to everyone, so it deliberately allowed for this to happen.

"Meow..."

Xinghai tilted its head and opened its mouth to answer, but looked over Famous. With a surprised look, it stared at something behind him.

Famous's felt a chill travel through his heart, telling him that something could have happened.

"Where are the monsters and demons?" Old Time Tea shouted, standing upright in alertness.

Famous turned his head around, his whole body feeling cold.

Hundreds of butterflies suddenly flew out of the lawn in the middle of the open space, with more butterflies coming up from the surrounding canopy.

Countless colorful butterflies gathered in one place and soon formed a human shape.

At first, the human figure was just a silhouette, but it slowly became that of the gorgeous and complex Chinese costume with her unparalleled face of beauty. When the last butterfly turned into a wreath ornament, she slowly walked towards them.

Famous could hardly breathe!

Zhuang Xiaodie looked at the surrounding environment and inadvertently smiled. She stared at Famous and said, "It seems that you like to break into other people's dreams and make a mess out of it, right?"

"How... How could you...?" Famous trembled in shock.

Zhuang Xiaodie smirked lightly and sneered, "Do you think that you're the only one who's good at learning? I've learned plenty of interesting knowledge from Zhang Zian's memory!"

With that, she glanced at Old Time Tea, rolled her sleeves up, and posed like a white crane spreading its wings. Her movements were so graceful that they could take someone's breath away and suffocate them.

Famous could only borrow Zhang Zian's words and roared from the bottom of his heart, "What the?!"
