Chapter 1002: Entering the Devourer eagle king's world

'This place is good.'

Ajax walked a few kilometers away from the Cursed Heaven and after checking his surroundings, he felt it was a good place for him.

The reason why there would be no cultivators was because of the Cursed Energy. Unless they have the energy restraining pills, they can't even enter a few kilometers inside the Cursed Abyss much less enter the depths of the Cursed Abyss.

Unlike them, Ajax could use the Cursed Energy to convert into Astral Energy.

'System, Open the portal to the Devourer Eagle King's world.'

Once he confirmed there was no one around him, Ajax ordered the system to open the portal to a smaller world to officially start his mission.

Consuming the small world ticket and opening the portal to the Devourer Eagle King's world.

As soon as he ordered the system, a portal enough for him to enter had opened.

'I hope I can complete the task.'

Without wasting any time, Ajax rushed into the portal while hoping everything would go smoothly.

Ajax came out of the portal and to his surprise, he felt it was completely similar to the five elemental world including the purity of the essence of nature.

'But the only difference is, this world is completely covered with tall trees and mountains, unlike the five elemental world where tall trees and mountains were everywhere in the Shixato region.'

Ajax's surprise didn't last for much longer when he thought about the inhabitants of the Devourer Eagle king's world.

Generally, the bird tribes like to live in a place that is filled with tall trees and mountains where they make their homes.

'First, I need to find out the information regarding this world. Only then, I can see what I can do.'

After looking at his surroundings for a while, Ajax thought to find out completely about the world.

'Screech'

Just as he thought about it, he heard the eagle screeches; however, he was unable to see the devourer eagles as he was completely surrounded by the tall trees.

Similarly, the devourer eagles that were flying in the sky were also unable to see him.

'Here comes the opportunity.'

Ajax was too lazy to search for the devourer eagles on his own. So, when he heard the screeches, he was excited as though it was an opportunity for him.

'Teleport'

Without wasting any time, Ajax used the 'Teleport' multiple times and appeared on the top of a tree.

'Interesting. Looks like it is convocation.'

Ajax looked at the thousands of devourer eagles that were flying in a particular direction and thought it was interesting.

Among those thousands of devourer eagles, there was only a single devourer eagle whose strength was at peak rank 6.

A few eagles have rank 6 and rank 5 strength. As for the thousands of the eagles only have the cultivation of rank 4 and less than that.

'Let's see where they are going.'

Ajax could easily kill the entire convocation of the eagles in the distance; however, it would not help him in completing the mission. So, he wanted to follow them and wanted to see where they were going.

As for why there was not a single re-cultivated devourer eagle in the convocation, Ajax was not surprised as he thought, 'Maybe, they don't have the re-cultivation technique or they didn't want to re-cultivate just like Twilight.'

After following the devourer eagle for a couple of hours, Ajax stopped following because there were no more trees for him to follow.

And if he continued to follow them, he would be easily noticed by the devourer eagles who were known for devouring and their eyesight.

Ajax racked his brains for an idea to keep on following the Devourer eagles.

'I will use it.'

All of a sudden, he thought of something and without wasting any time, he took out a pill from his inventory before tossing it into his mouth.

The host consumed an invisible pill. He can stay invisible for the next five minutes.

Soon, he got the system notification, he rushed after the devourers eagles which were very far from him.

'Before the pill's effect goes, I hope I can find a place to hide.'

Even though there were many thoughts in his head, Ajax was focused on the devourer eagles.

Within no time, Ajax was able to catch up to the devourer eagles and since they couldn't see him, Ajax was not worried much.

'Huh? Is someone following us?'

However, the peak rank 6 devourer eagle looked in the path Ajax was running and squinted his eyes.

Even though he could not see Ajax, he felt someone was following him.

'No...it must be me who is tired of all the regular meetings with the Eagle Generals. I must be feeling like this for a couple of days now.'

Soon, the leader of the eagle's convocation shook his eagle head and continued to fly to his destination.

'Ding,

Host, the invisible pill's effect will last for less than a minute. Please be careful.

As for Ajax, he didn't know that he nearly got caught by the leader of the eagle's convocation; however, he was oblivious of that because he was worried about the invisible pill's effect that might disappear anytime now.

'Damn it…how long are they planning to fly?'
