Chapter 663: Becoming the target

Since Elder Esmund had taken out 14 low-level heaven grade hammers, Ajax felt that he must have middle-level upgrade stones and success stones. So, he was excited as he saw some hope in upgrading the 'Seal breaking compass' within less time.

Soon, along with other young cultivators, Ajax started hitting the metal block with the sealed hammer.

'I will wait for sometime before unsealing it,'

Ajax felt that unsealing the hammer after someone did that or at the end of the trial before giving up the trial.

So, he thought to wait for some time as he continued the hitting process.

Just a few moments after starting the trial, the black hammer in Dark flame's hands started glowing and all of a sudden the previous common-looking black hammer turned into an exquisite hammer.

Dark flame felt the hammer in his hands become lighter and at the same time, his speed at which he was hitting the metal increased by many times making all the other participants stop what they were doing.

'I feel like I can hit this metal block forever,'

Dark flame didn't stop hitting the metal block; instead, he increased his speed and continued to hit the metal block.

'Hey, what is happening to Dark flame's hammer?'

'Is there something we have to do in order to make our black hammers turn into an exquisite one?'

All the young cultivators looked at the hammers in their hands and then looked at the exquisite hammer in Dark flame's hands and muttered to themselves.

They felt there was something that they needed to do to make the common looking hammer into an exquisite hammer; however, they were unable to find what it was.

'Maybe, I should just hit the metal block and it will automatically become an exquisite hammer after some time,'

Everyone thought the same thing in their minds before continuing their hammering.

'Esmund looks like you already found a personal disciple,'

'If you want, you can directly take him as your disciple,'

Just like young cultivators, the vagrant cultivators were also surprised that one of the participants would unseal the hammer just after a few moments and they directly asked Elder Esmund to pick Dark flame as his personal disciple.

According to their original plan, they had to wait until all the trials were completed; however, when there was a participant, you showed excellent performance in any trial. 

And at the same time, if they have a good affinity with one of the six vagrant cultivator's professions or techniques, then they could just take them as a personal disciple just like how Elder Elek took Lewis and Jeff as his personal disciples.

Just as he nodded his head, the hammers in the hands of both Silver Goliath and Fearless Gorilla started glowing just like how the hammer in Dark flame's hands glowed.

Similar to Dark flame, both of them continued to hit the metal block because they felt more powerful and wanted to test their limits.

While they continued to hit the metal block with full power, the six vagrant cultivators, who were already shocked by one hammer unsealing, received another shock.

Because it was not even 15 minutes after the first unsealing and another two participants unsealed the hammer and used its full power to hit the metal.

Unlike other vagrant cultivators, Elder Esmund's shock had turned into excitement as he watched two burly participants.
