Chapter 653: Soul related trial

'Huh?'

Hearing Sandra's words, Ajax felt a little funny; however, he didn't dare to laugh out loud.

Sandra said the same words to his team and the other two teams with just some different words; however, her attitude was completely different.

When she said to Ajax, it seemed like she was giving a warning whereas when she said to the other two teams it was more like a consolation.

However, that didn't bother Ajax much as he was just attending the selection to see how rich the vagrant cultivators were.

'If they use force to see what I tempted the moon rabbit, then they are no different from the top powers of the Zrochester province,' Ajax silently thought in his head as he walked towards Darbaudr.

Although it was a test for the young cultivators to become the disciples of the six vagrant cultivators, in Ajax's view, he was testing them.

In his test, if these so-called six vagrant cultivators were good people, he could help them with the good items from the system in return he would take the nice items from them like mutual sharing among them.

'They can check my space rings and spirit consciousness; however, they can't even guess that I was carrying a small world inside me much less they could search it,'

A powerful cultivator could see through a low-level cultivators' spirit consciousness without much difficulty; however, Ajax didn't worry much about the six vagrant cultivators finding out as he was very confident in the system.

'According to it, even the general realm is still very weak so what will be the strongest realm? King realm? Or are there any other realms above it?'

Ajax muttered to himself as he walked towards Darabaudr.

'Wait a second. I am such a fool,'

All of a sudden, he scolded himself in his head as he continued to think, 'Why am I waiting for the system to answer my questions? I can always ask about cultivation realms after king realm to Darbaudr or Senior brother Levi.'

Since Darbaudr was from Ylercester province, which had a much purer essence of nature. So, naturally, they could reach the King realm unlike the cultivators in the Zroceshter province.

So, he decided to ask Darbaudr or Levi about it once the disciple selection was over.

"Ajax, you did great,"

Edmond praised Ajax as he was very supportive of him because he looked just like his son.

Udo, as usual, didn't say anything except for looking at Ajax as though he was a demon.

"Everyone did well; however, you don't need to worry as there are more trials. So, you can still prove yourselves,"

Edmond said similar words as that of Sandra; however, all the young cultivators felt a little bit more motivated than before.

"Let's not waste any more time and enter the second trial,"

Soon, the host of 'The Eternal Garden' shouted out loud that all the young cultivators and the old generation looked towards him.

'Elek, you give them your trial,' After everyone looked at him, Ramon transmitted his voice to the Soul handler, Elek.

Actually, the disciple selection by these six vagrant cultivators was very simple. All the six vagrant cultivators would give their own trial to the young cultivators and after all the six trials were completed, the overall performance of a young cultivator would be checked.

Depending on that and some other factors, they decided to select a disciple to pass on to their legacy.

'Sure,'

Elek nodded his head at Ramon before turning towards the young cultivators and introduced, "Hello everyone, my name is Elek also known as the soul handler."

"Hello, Elder Elek,"

All the young cultivators greeted back with a respectful tone.

"My trial is very simple as it required you to do nothing except for standing still for some time,"

Elek partially explained about the trial which didn't have a head or tail to it.

'Looks like every six of them will say the same line 'My trial is very simple,'

As for Ajax, he felt a little funny when he heard those words; however, he paid his full attention to hear about the trial.

"In my trial, your soul will be put under a lot of pressure and those who last longer under those pressures, they will be given a lot of preference over others when I take the disciples. So, all the best and I hope, everyone will perform well in my trial,"

Soon, the soul handler explained his trial that made almost all young cultivators shiver.

Because all the matters regarding the soul were very complicated. Even if there was a single mistake, then their soul would be damaged or in the worst case, it might even dissipate.

"You are free to drop out of my trial,"

Elek could see the hesitation in the faces of 90 percent of the young cultivators as he knew about his trial.

However, there was still no reply from the young cultivators that made Elek shook his head before saying, "One more thing, even if you drop out of my trial it will not affect your next trials. So, you don't need to fear dropping out of my trial."

"I will drop from this trial, Elder Elek,"

As soon as he finished his words, Lewis and Jeff raised their hands as they replied to Elek.

"Okay...you can go aside and rest until the next trial starts,"

Elek nodded his head and asked them to move aside before he looked at the remaining young cultivators and asked, "You all are ready for the trial?"

"Yes, Elder,"

Ajax, Levi, Paulin, Justice and Neil immediately replied without any hesitation on their face; however, Edmond' adopted children were still in hesitation and took some more time before nodding their heads and decided to accept the trial.

"Good"

Elek nodded his head as he asked them, "Everyone, come one by one and stand in front of him."

No one moved from Edmond's nine children as they looked at Levi, whose cultivation was high. So, they were indirectly telling him to go first.

There was nothing wrong with being careful. Even Ajax didn't move because he feared that he might overdo the trial because his spirit consciousness was huge along with his endurance. So, he would definitely last much longer than others.

"I will go then,"

Levi revealed a bitter smile on his face as he started walking towards Elek.

"Don't come. I am going to select the youngsters on my own,"

Before Leivi could take a couple of steps, Elek asked Levi to stop coming as he glanced at Edmond's adopted children and called out, "You short one, come here."

He pointed his finger at the shortest member among those nine cultivators and asked him to come.

"Me?"

Dark flame was shocked that he was the first to undergo the soul trial and his heart rate increased a lot; however, he placed his hand on his chest as he tried to calm down and started moving towards him.

"It's an honour for Dark flame to be chosen first for your trial, Elder Elek,"

After going closer to Elder Elek, Dark Flame politely replied that he was honoured to be selected even though he felt something else in his heart.
