540 Summons vs Demons

Ajax was already familiar with the three small black orbs and knew how powerful they were.

Previously when he was flying on Twilight's back, that same black orb touched the left-wing of the dragon and blasted.

'Even though the injury is only on the left-wing, Twilight seemed to be affected by something that made it unconscious. So, I don't want to take any risk,'

With that thought in his mind, Ajax immediately summoned his three elemental spirits back into the inner world.

"Volcanis, Bane and Cerauno, come back,"

Just when the small black coloured orbs were about to land on the three elemental spirits, they turned into red, grey and white colours and entered into Ajax with an incredible speed.

'Boom boom boom'

The place where the three elemental spirits were previously standing was entirely covered with black smoke with the explosions from three small black orbs.

'Phew'

When he saw that the three small black orbs were more powerful than the one that landed on Twilight, he heaved a sigh of relief for summoning back his elemental spirits into his inner world.

"Haha,"

All of a sudden, the level 3 elite demon general started laughing when he saw Ajax heave a sigh of relief after summoning back his elemental spirits.

"You might be able to summon them back into your spirit consciousness; however, don't forget you are still here, in front of me and you have no way to escape," After laughing for a moment, the elite demon general named Delgoth smirked while looking at the anxiousness in Ajax's face.

'That's right! I can feel some kind of barrier is covering the surroundings. I have nowhere to escape now,' Ajax looked at the thin barrier in the distance and silently thought in his head.

The elite demon general's body which was hosting the demon king's consciousness was very careful and he didn't want Ajax to escape once again. So, he locked down the surroundings to prevent Ajax from escaping. 

'The only thing I can do right now is to fight to the death,'

There was nothing much to think for him as he already knew what awaits him and instead of dying without a fight, he wanted to use his full power to resist and bring him down along with him.

Even if he killed the elite demon general in front of him, the demon king would not entirely die; however, if his consciousness which was inside the elite demon general's body in front of him was damaged, then the demon king would need several years to recover that small consciousness.

So, Ajax decided to damage the demon king's consciousness as much as possible.

"Since I will die anyway, I will go all out with you,"

Any being, when they decide to go to the extreme means to bring someone down, they don't think much and use all possible available ways at their hands to succeed their goal.

He was like a cornered beast that would resist its utmost against his enemy.

One could never know what a beast or human that was cornered would do; however, one thing was sure that it was certainly not a good thing for their enemy.

"Everyone, come out,"

With that thought in his mind, he summoned all the available elemental spirits and contracted spirit beasts from his inner world.

Soon, Ajax was completed surrounded by his elemental spirits and contracted spirit beasts.

At the moment, Ajax didn't like to hide his summons inside the inner world because if he dies then all of his summons would die along with Snow, Raweth and Sparrow in the five elemental world.

Instead of dying without fighting and staying inside the inner world, he wanted his summons to try to fight for their life. Even if they died in the process they would be at least satisfied with a feeling that they tried something.

"Are you ready for a life and death fight?"

As soon as he summoned his summons from the inner world, he asked them in a loud voice.

"Yes, summoning master,"

All the summoned elemental spirits replied to Ajax in a serious tone.

'Roar'

Similarly, all the spirit beasts also replied with their roars as though they were excited about the fight.

All of his summons could understand the seriousness of their current situation and were very alert because if they didn't kill the elite demon general in front of him, then he would kill them.

When he saw how his summons were ready for their battle he felt bad of them because the chances of getting out alive from here were very slim.

"What the…! What are you? How can you summon various types of elemental spirits?"

While Ajax was preparing to go all out against the elite demon general, who was controlled by the demon king's consciousness, he was shocked by Ajax's elemental spirits.

It was common sense that those who could summon two types of elemental spirits were considered rare in the Zrochester province and what's more even in the high-level province, it was very rare to find a summoner with three different elemental spirits.

So, when the consciousness inside the elite demon general saw various elemental spirits in front of Ajax, his heart anxiously started beating.

"What am I? I am the one that is going to destroy your consciousness inside this elite demon general,"

"Everyone, go all out and kill him,"

Ajax already knew that the demon king would be shocked by his summons and ordered his summons to attack the elite demon general.

As soon as they received Ajax's orders, all elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts rushed at the elite demon general.

Since he had already activated his 'Absyall beast god bloodline' a few moments ago, he wanted to utilize it, before the bloodline is deactivated.

'With 3X and 2X battle prowess increase from the 'Abyssal beast god's bloodline', I hope my chances of surviving increases,'

Looking at his summons, Ajax wanted nothing more than to survive his current situation along with his summons.

From the bloodline, the elemental spirits received a two times boost whereas contracted spirit beasts would receive a three times boost in their battle prowess.

Among his summons, two elemental spirits, Necros and Slait along with one contracted spirit beast was missed because Necros and Twilight were injured whereas Slait was taking care of Levi, back at the Hazegroove mercenary squad building.

"Haha...you are not the only one to have an army, I too have prepared some for cases like these,"

Soon, the elite demon general calmed down his shock and started laughing before muttering something inaudible to Ajax.

Before Ajax's summons could reach the elite demon general, thirty peak demon generals had appeared in front of him and blocked the attacks of Ajax's elemental spirits and contracted spirit beasts.

"What the hell!"

When Ajax saw the 30 peak level demon generals appear out of nowhere, he cursed his luck and ordered his summons, "Kill them all. We can get through our current situation if we don't lose hope,"

Ajax tried his best to encourage his summons as he looked at the elite demon general.
