454 Darbaudr's Skill

A crisp breaking sound resounded just after the elite demon general finished his words.

"You..."

Darbaudr hated the demons to his core, so why would he listen to them when he was at an advantage. So, without any hesitation, he broke the neck of the first elite demon general and turned his head back to see the angry look on the demon general's face.

Unlike the first elite demon general, this demon general was very thin and had legs that resembled a horse.

"And why would I listen to you?"

Darbaudr mocked the demon general which made him even angrier.

"I will kill you all. First I will kill those young cultivators and then kill you. I will let you know what despair means and....,"

Just as he was shouting angrily, two heavy swords came out from his chest that interrupted his angry shouts.

"To do that, you should be alive, right?"

Edmond asked from behind that elite demon general while taking out his heavy sword from that demon general's back along with Udo.

The elite demon general was shocked as he didn't sense anyone behind his back until he was pierced by the two heavy swords.

"Haha...if you wanted to kill us, you should have done it already. With your speed if you have gone to kill these young cultivators we would be unable to save them; however, you are very foolish and started cursing," Darbaudr shook his head at the foolishness of the demon general.

The elite demon general fell on to his knees, while clutching onto the two wounds in his head and looked at Edmond and others.

"Good job, Captain. You two can be good assassins...haha," Darbaudr didn't bother about the elite demon general and walked towards Edmond and Udo before praising their silent movements.

"Haha...you must be kidding. If it is not for you sealing the space around that demon general that made him reduce his senses, we would not be able to sneak up to him," Edmond shook his head and was shocked with Darbaudr's weird skills.

That's right!

It was Darbaudr's skill that helped them to sneak attack the demon general without him noticing.

"By the way, what is that skill called?"

Before they even execute their plan, Darbuadr promises that he would seal the spirit sense of the other demon general as soon he appears in front of them. Then asked Edmond and Udo to sneak up on him and kill him.

However, they didn't know its name as Darbaudr didn't say he would use the skill to block the spirit sense of the demon general.

"Perception block," Darbaudr looked at the young cultivators who were almost reaching their limit and said without any expression on his face.

Edmond and Udo opened their mouths and flabbergasted when they heard the skill name.

Even the demon general, whose entire body was covered with his own black-blood was shocked to hear the skill name.

"It is a skill I awakened after consuming a high-grade ability fruit," Darbaudr slowly said about how he had got that skill.

Edmond and Udo clutched their hearts with Darbaudr's continuous words that made them shock one after another.

The ability fruit that Ajax and others had consumed was only low-grade ability fruits and from their one could mostly awaken low-level or mid-level skills.

Even Ajax had only awakened a mid-level skill from the ability fruit using nearly 1000 units of the essence of nature which was the complete essence of his spirit consciousness at that time.

'Looks like Darabaudr is not from this province. He must be from another province,' Edmond and Udo immediately thought the same thing about Darbaudr.

As the elite demon general was busy on his plan, Edmond and Udo suppressed the shocks they had received from Darabaudr.

'As long as he is loyal to Ajax, it's good. If not I will kill him,' Edmond thought in his head whereas Udo thought, 'Instead of keeping an eye on Ajax, I need to keep my full focus on him now.'

Ajax was not powerful yet and he won't be able to mess Edmond's plans with his cultivation; however, Darabudr could mess up their plan and at the same time, if he is on their side, it would be good to their mission. So, he didn't act rash and only thought of keeping an eye on Darbaudr.

"I think they are reaching their limit. But the good thing is they were about to kill 200 demon servants and could take another 100 demon servants before they are completely exhausted," Edmond stopped thinking about Darbaudr and focused on the fight that was going on in front of him.

"Yes, only if they reach the limit, they can awaken their full power inside them. Let's wait who will awaken first...Haha," Udo laughingly said while glancing at Ajax and others.

Darbaudr also nodded his head as he knew what Edmond and Udo were trying to achieve by pressuring the young cultivators.

'So, they are trying to break the limits of the humans to have a smooth cultivation without any bottlenecks in the future,' Darbaudr thought inside his head before looking at the elite demon general who laid on the ground lifelessly.

Darbaudr sensed no energy fluctuations from the elite demon general and considered he was dead and focused on Ajax and few other young cultivators to help when required.

However, he failed to notice the eerie smile on the elite demon general's face.
