Chapter 917

Name:Never Judge Author:wounded_warrior
Today, Adrianna had chosen to stay in the nursery and watch over the children. She didn't want to hear what plans Cedric and his friends had for Lucius Ting.

She trusted Cedric to tell her if there was anything they needed from her.

Both she and Cedric also didn't want today's meeting messing with her hormones since she was due to give birth to their twins in a month.

She was playing with little Tristan Lim when she heard a knock on the open door.

"Adrianna?" Cedric asked as he stood against the frame of the door.

She could see that he looked tired and worried at the same time. The meeting had gone on longer than they had expected and she was sure that people would have questioned his plan.

"Are you alright, Ced?" Adrianna asked her husband as she got up from the floor.

She made her way to him and he wrapped her in his strong arms, holding her close.

Adrianna let him hold her as she knew he probably needed it. After a few minutes he finally released her from her embrace and gave her a sad smile.

"There are some developments I need to talk to you about, let's go upstairs." Cedric said as he instructed several maids and nannies to watch over the children.

"The others should be up soon, I doubt the kids will be alone for too long." Cedric told his wife as he led her up the stairs towards their more private floor.

"Let's talk in our room." Cedric told her as they walked through the hallway and through the doors to their room.

When they were finally inside, Cedric sat down and gestured for her to sit next to him.

"Did you face a lot of opposition?" Adrianna asked her husband as she gave him a worried look.

Cedric remained silent and shook his head.

She reached for his hand and gently stroked it, wondering if he didn't face any opposition, why was he so worried about what had happened.

"They actually took to the plans and the revelation much easier than we thought." Cedric said with a chuckle as he shook his head. "When I told them that Ray was king of the underworld I was waiting for someone to try and arrest him."

Adrianna laughed at the thought.

Everyone knew how much of an influence each of the boys were on each other. Even when Cedric was accused of trying to bribe a public official, the whole country knew that he didn't need to or that he wouldn't be sent to jail for it.

"In front of Alexi? They wouldn't dare!" Adrianna laughed at the thought.

"Of course, Alexi's was a whole different shock to them. I mean he is the President's son and to hear that he is also the King of the Underworld's right hand man. It really changed the perspective of reality for many of the generals and government officials earlier." Cedric told his wife.

"So what is bothering you?" Adrianna asked as she no longer wanted to keep guessing what was running through her husband's mind.

He sighed and shook his head.

"While we were in the meeting, Miguel got a call. Julia is finally awake." He told his wife, who smiled at the news.

"That's good news then, so why are you so sad and bothered?" Adrianna questioned.

"We need Julia's help, Adrianna." Cedric said with a sigh. "Somehow Lucius Ting has discovered that Julia is in the country. He has no idea where she is, but soon enough he will realize that her brother is living with us and it won't take a genius to figure out that we've hidden her somewhere."

"So you want to use her as a piece in this plan?" Adrianna asked, her face was expressionless. Cedric couldn't figure out if she was bothered by the fact that they needed Julia or not.

He nodded slowly, choosing to tell her the truth.

Lies had ruined their life enough and he had long sworn to tell her the truth always.

"I'm sure Julia would be willing to help." Adrianna said in a positive tone, making Cedric smile.

"Adrianna, I think you are forgetting that she flew all the way to Spain to look for him." Cedric pointed out. "Add to that the fact that she doesn't exactly like my group cause she and Ram broke up."

"She had Dominic now." Adrianna said in a sad tone.

To be honest she had no idea if Julia would be willing to help them. She hadn't spoken to her in person for so long that she was worried about her friend.

"Adrianna, I'll need you to do something." Cedric said with a frown as he looked into his wife's eyes. "I need you to speak with Julia, reason with her. I don't want to put you in harm's way but this time I need to for the sake of the majority."

Adrianna couldn't help but laugh at her husband's words, confusing him.

"Cedric, the moment I married you, my life was put in harm's way, and I would not change anything." She said as she gave him a sweet smile.

"So you'll do it?" Cedric's voice was so full of hope. He was worried that Adrianna would refuse.

"Of course I will Cedric, but maybe I could bring Dominic with me. It might help to convince Julia to help if she knew that her son was still alive." Adrianna told her husband.

Cedric suddenly frowned at her words.

"Adri, I don't think telling her about Dominic is the best thing to do." Cedric told his wife. He had already considered this, but he didn't want to involve the child. He was happy and safe at the moment.

"She deserves to know that her son is alive at least." Adrianna argued as she tried to negotiate with Cedric.

Cedric paused for the moment to consider Adrianna's request. He knew that as a mother she felt for Julia's separation from her son.

"Fine, but you need to see if she is ready to find out about him. It will be difficult if she's unstable and tries to get to him." Cedric said as he gave in to Adrianna's request.

"Perfect, so when is she arriving?" Adrianna asked knowing that her husband would not allow her to fly to Kashmere so late into her pregnancy.

"Actually, you will need to fly out to Kashmere." Cedric said, catching Adrianna by surprise.

"And you're letting me?" Adrianna asked, unable to believe what Cedric had just told her.

"I will." He said with a nod. "Camilla and Guan Ming will be going with you, I'm also sending Leon over to make sure everything is secure on Kashmere. I'll be working from home while you are there so that Yoyo won't be alone."

"Are you sure about this? Are you sick or something?" She asked as she checked his temperature, making Cedric laugh.

"Adri, you will be safe, I'm sure of it." He said as he pulled her onto his lap and rubbed her belly. "You and our twins will be in one of the safest places possible with the best medical help around. Miguel has already left to go check on Julia."

"I'll do my best to stay safe." Adrianna said as she planted a kiss on Cedric's lips.

"I'll miss you." He said in a low voice.

"I'll miss you too, so when do I leave?" She asked.

"As soon as you are packed, I don't want to give Lucius Ting time to find out about this. Guan Ming and Camilla are already packing their bags and are ready to go as soon as you are." He said with a nod.

Adrianna slid off of her husband's lap and made her way to the closet to pack.

"If things go well, will you follow? I want the twins to be born there as well," Adrianna told Cedric as soon as she heard him enter the walk-in closet after her.

"Sure, Yoyo and I will fly over as soon as things are settled." Cedric said. "I don't want you flying back either, especially after what happened to Guan Ming."

"Lucius Ting has no men anymore." Adrianna reminded her husband.

"We cannot underestimate the Rajas. They have been in hiding for so long that we don't know what kind of force they have behind them." Cedric told his wife. "Alexi also suspects that they may have some generals and public officials in their group."

"I wish this would all just end and we could live normal lives." Adrianna said in frustration as she added a few more clothes in her bag.

"You don't need to pack too much. I can have someone send things over if you need them." Cedric told her as he closed her bag and picked it up.

"Let me say goodbye to Yoyo first." She said.

"He's on his way up.." Cedric told her as he offered his hand to take.
