Chapter 819 - 819

Ayanna laughed as she saw her brother's smile when his new old car drove up to the front of the house.

It was new in the sense that Cedric had everything re-done to fit the needed safety measures to drive his son to and from school. The interesting part was that Cedric made it look much older than it actually was.

"I had them repaint it and change the lights." Cedric said with a chuckle. "Of course the tint is much darker so you can only see a silhouette of the people inside."

"You really want to drive your kid to school, don't you?" Ayanna asked her brother.

"Dad never took us to school." Cedric said with a shrug. "I love dad, but he wasn't around most of the time and I know that wasn't by choice. I already feel bad that I have to work as much as I do, but I want to at least make up for it."

"Daddy's new car is awesome!" Yoyo said as he burst out of the front door followed by his mother and a maid.

Yoyo quickly ran up to the car and tried to reach for the door handle.

Cedric heard Adrianna's sweet laugh as she approached him and Ayanna.

She would be working from home today since she had been experiencing some discomforts from her pregnancy.

He turned and pulled him to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and planting a gentle kiss on her lips.

"I wish you could come." Cedric groaned as he held his wife in his arms.

"Being in a car makes me nauseous and uncomfortable now, plus Ayanna is with you, I can't sit at the back with Yoyo, someone will see me." Adrianna told her husband. "Plus I want to oversee all the things Ayanna and Ray are moving. People might take it to the wrong rooms."

"Thank you." Ayanna told her sister-in-law with a smile.

Adrianna simply nodded in acknowledgement.

"Rest, don't stress yourself too much." Cedric warned his wife before finally giving her a goodbye kiss and releasing her from his arms.

"Come on Yoyo, let me help you." Ayanna said as she walked over to the little boy and opened the car door for him.

"Bye mommy!" Yoyo called out as he waved at Adrianna.

"Have fun at school Yoyo!" Adrianna asid as she waved back at her son.

"I'll stay in the back with him." Leon told Ayanna as he walked over to the otherside, waiting for Cedric to enter the car.

"You know you don't need to wait, right?" Cedric asked his bodyguard as John, his driver, opened the door for Cedric.

"It's for your protection." Leon said in a flat tone.

"Excuses." John told Leon with a chuckle.

"I swear you just want him to beat you up." Cedric told his driver as he got in the car.

"That's why I don't train with him anymore, boss." John said with a wink as he walked away.

"I have no idea how you guys manage to get along, you are all just way too different." Cedric commented to Leon as the bodyguard closed the door behind him.

"They are an acquired taste." Leon said with a slight laugh.

"By they you mean all of my assistants and by driver?" Cedric asked Leon as he heard Ayanna get in and close the door.

"Yes, all of them." Leon said with a nod, making Cedric laugh. He was quite aware of how different all of his closest employees were from one another.

In a normal setting none of them would have become friends or have gotten along.

"Let's get this little one to school." Ayanna announced as she glanced back at Yoyo who was clearly happy that his father would be driving him to school today.

Cedric simply smiled and nodded as he stepped on the gas and drove away.

"It's been a while since I last drove myself anywhere." Cedric chuckled as he realized how long it had been.

"Then don't kill us, okay?" Ayanna teased her older brother as they exited the gates of Mountain View Mansion.

In order to make sure that no one followed them, Cedric had to pass through different confusing paths just to get to Yoyo's school.

Normally it would only take ten minutes to and from the school, but because of all their detours it took them almost an hour.

As they approached the line was much shorter than it had been on Yoyo's first day of school, but what changed was the fact that now there were reporters lined up outside.

"They are waiting to spot Miguel and Veronica dropping Dominic off." Ayanna commented as she noticed her brother's confused look.

"They still haven't admitted that Dominic is theirs?" Cedric asked, lately he had been avoiding the  gossip column of the news. He trusted that if anything important came up someone would tell him.

"No, not yet." Ayanna said as she shook her head. "People are speculating that he is just a relative, so they are trying to find out which Chan is Dominic's parent."

"Wanna bet people will start thinking it's Andrew's?" Cedric teased.

"If word got out of Andrew truly still being alive that's the first thing people will speculate." Ayanna said as the car finally entered the school gates.

Cedric decided to drop Yoyo off at the furthest end of the waiting shed.

It was far enough that people normally didn't drop their kids there, giving them a lower chance of being spotted.

"Bye daddy!" Yoyo shouted as he hugged his father from the passenger's seat.

"Be good for your teachers today and learn something." Cedric said with a smile as he kissed the top of his son's head.

"Yes daddy!" Yoyo said in a chirpy tone.

"Thank you for taking me to school auntie Ayanna! Can you help me with my homework tonight?" He asked.

"Yoyo, your auntie will be too tired." Cedric scold.

"It's fine." Ayanna said with a smile.

As Cedric happily chatted with his son, he spotted his sister's expression suddenly turn cold as she looked behind him.

"Daddy, bye!" Yoyo said, pulling Cedric's attention back. He would make sure to ask Ayanna what just happened.

"Bye Yoyo, be a good boy.." Cedric told his son as he turned to face forward as Leon opened the door to let the child out.
