Chapter 407 - You Have the Say (Part One)

When Jing Yichen said that he was going to have fun with Shangguan Ning, he really went out and did that. He brought her to a famous undersea world in A City.

Shangguan Ning had been to the waterworld many times with her uncle when she was young. But she had not been to this place after she grew up.

Jing Yichen, however, had never been to any undersea park. He spent his childhood immersed in all kinds of tests and challenges. He had never had any fun.

The water world had not changed much, but many new and beautiful sea creatures had been added. She roamed around, hand in hand with Jing Yichen in excitement.

The waterworld was located underwater with various colorful fish and corals floating around. When the visitors were standing in the middle, they felt as if they were surrounded by the blue sea with the fish swimming around them.

Shangguan Ning had been here twice, yet she still felt astonished and cheerful on this visit.

She slowly walked through the undersea channel and pointed at various kinds of fish and called out their names excitedly. Jing Yichen also showed a small smile after being infected by her cheerful mood.

They stayed next to each other and looked like a couple in love.

Jing Yichen did not know much about sea creatures. That made Shangguan Ning tremendously confident.

“Wonderful, there is something which you don’t know about!”

Shangguan Ning’s eyes reflected a sense of happiness and pride.

Jing Yichen smiled indulgently. He didn’t think that not knowing about some random fish would be something to be embarrassed about.

“I thought that you only knew that fish is our food. But you even know that they have their own names. Seems that you are a true seafood lover.”

Shangguan Ning blinked as she stared at the fish swimming in the water. “Can they be used for food? Well, they are so cute, it would be a pity to cook them.”

Jing Yichen burst out laughing. His fingers rubbed against her cute nose. “I am just joking! Do you really want to eat them? These fish are for show, not for food. What a glutton you are! People might think that I don’t feed you well at this rate.”

“You are not allowing me to eat anything. Take the sour plum soup, for example. And I want to eat hawthorn pastry too. You really don’t allow me to eat anything.”

“That is not true. You have to be careful about what you eat given the state you are in. You can blame our son when he is born. I have nothing to do with it!”

The couple laughed and talked as they went through the undersea world. They even ended up going for the mermaid show in the middle. Shangguan Ning asked Jing Yichen to stay and watch the entire performance together with her, in excitement.

Many people were gathered around for the show. Many people, especially women, refused to leave after the show was over.

Shangguan Ning had not yet noticed that everyone was standing still. But soon she realized what was going on.

Those girls were all staring at Jing Yichen!

They looked extremely excited and some even flushed, acting coy.

“Look at that man. He is so good-looking! Is he some kind of star?”

“Wow, he is better looking than the stars!”

“His girlfriend is really lucky to have such a good-looking boyfriend. Can she ever control herself?”

“I want to compete with his girlfriend. Don’t you think that I can beat her? I am also pretty!”

The sound of discussions grew louder and louder whilst Shangguan Ning, who was Jing Yichen’s wife and was standing next to him, was totally ignored. They were all out for her man.

What an intolerable thing!

Shangguan Ning cleared her voice, held Jing Yichen’s arms and shouted in a sweet yet raised voice. “My husband….”

Jing Yichen looked extremely cold being stared at by the women around him. But he smiled when Shangguan Ning called out to him. “What is it, my wife?”

“Oh, husband, I am just thinking that we can name our son Little Fish. Look, these fish are so pretty and our son will definitely be better looking than them.”

She said as she massaged her belly softly, telling these she-wolves that this excellent man was her husband, not her boyfriend and that they already had a baby on the way. These women needed to stay away from her husband.

Was there any mother who would compare her son with fish? Did the mermaid show go to her head?

Little Fish…

Would the other one be called Flower if she had been pregnant with twins?

Wife, you are so good at choosing names! If our son ever gets to know about your naming him so randomly, then he will not want to come out.

Jing Yichen argued inside his heart, yet a gentle smile hovered over his face. He held her waist and walked forward, speaking indulgently, “Of course, any name you want, as long as you are happy, you have the say at home!”

The couple showed off their love as if no one was around, making the group of women stand astonished on the spot.

So the couple was married! They were still deep in love after they got married. That was why they had misunderstood them.

But was it really proper to show off their love in front of so many people? Those women were still single!

Shangguan Ning didn’t care about them. She had been unhappy when someone was aiming at her husband. If she was not happy, then no one else was allowed to be happy!

But her method worked. When those women surrounding Jing Yichen knew about their marital status, they left in disappointment.

The majority of people with a traditional ethical idea tended to have strong self-control.

Besides, judging from Jing Yichen’s look, he apparently loved his wife deeply and had no eyes for anyone else.

But that made him even more charismatic. It could be seen clearly that he was a responsible man who took great care of his wife during her pregnancy rather than turn around to look at any other woman.
