Hong Ning hesitated for a moment before she hooked pinkies with Qiao Yue.

There were calluses on Qiao Yue’s finger, but the skin on the back of his hand was fair and delicate. For some reason, it didn’t feel like a boy’s hand.

“You are my adopted sister from now on. You can tell me if anyone in school bullies you. I’ll stand up for you.” Qiao Yue smiled at Hong Ning.

Being Qiao Yue’s adopted sister was equivalent to being a goddaughter of the Qiao family. Qiao Yue planned to invite Hong Ning to the family residence someday.

This girl reminded her of the girls that she had trained in KA. The organization had lost a few girls because of Andy. Jin Lu had also decided to leave C-Country and never come back.

Qiao Yue felt comfort in her heart knowing that Hong Ning could live a normal life.

“Okay, thank you, brother.” Hong Ning said with a sweet smile.

“Let’s go, big brother will take you to eat something nice.” Qiao Yue started her car, ready to make their way down the mountain.

Suddenly, a car drove past them and stopped steadily next to Qiao Yue’s car, blocking her way.

Just as Qiao Yue was trying to figure out who was blocking her way, the car doors opened and Qiao Jing and Qiao Ze got out.

Qiao Ze had an indignant expression; he looked like he had just been reprimanded by Qiao Jing.

Qiao Jing had ordered the entire family not to take Qiao Yue out.

But in the blink of an eye, Qiao Ze did just that, completely ignoring his orders.

“Sh*t, my brother is here.” Qiao Yue’s face fell. She was going to take Hong Ning and Qiao Ze for a hotpot meal.

Hotpot was forbidden food for her during her recuperation.

Everything was ruined now.

Qiao Jing looked at Li Rong, Li Cheng, and Qiao Xin, who were lying on the ground, with a cold expression.

He walked straight up to Qiao Yue’s car and knocked on her window.

Qiao Yue rolled down her window and looked at Qiao Jing with her big eyes. “Second brother, would you believe me if I told you that I was kidnapped by third brother?”

Such an excuse would never fool Qiao Jing.

“Get out.” Qiao Jing ordered.

Hong Ning glanced at Qiao Yue.

“You just sit in the car and wait for my return.”

Qiao Jing felt the onset of a headache when he saw Hong Ning’s blushing face when she looked at Qiao Yue. Did his sister even know her true gender?

She was clearly a girl, but she was flirting with other girls. Wasn’t she afraid of getting into trouble? Or was his sister a lesbian to begin with?

Qiao Jing shook his head to drive this ridiculous thought out of his mind.

“What’s up with the three of them?” Qiao Jing asked, pointing at the three people groaning in pain on the ground and the two damaged cars.

“They insisted on racing with me, but they weren’t as good as me, so they ran into the mountain.” Qiao Yue said seriously, acting dumb.

Qiao Xin slowly got up and clutched her chest. “Qiao Yue, you did this on purpose. You made a fool of yourself on purpose, made us ruin our cars and even hit me.”

Qiao Xin saw Qiao Jing looking at her and ran over to him. She grabbed his arm, shook it and said like a spoiled child, “Second brother, Qiao Yue has been bullying me these days. Today when he and third brother came here to race, he saw me with my friends and decided to bully us.”

Qiao Jing wasn’t about to side with Qiao Xin; he just looked at her clothes.
