Chapter 185 - Gu Corporations Anniversary (VI)

Xu Nuang knitted her brows when Yang Jian leaned closer to her and stared at her with his dark-gloomy eyes. She could feel his hatred from his gaze and could see that he was holding himself from grabbing her neck and strangle her to death. 

After all, it was his first time that someone has attacked his pride and has shown his true-monstrous face to everyone. 

" Do you think your words can do anything to me? Your words are insignificant just like your whole existence. Hah, you don't even belong here. You're just a mere artist manager who has gotten this job by sleeping around and tries to act like a big shot." He said while leaning closer and whispered in her ears, wanted her to show her the real place she belongs to. 

He doesn't care about Old Gu or Gu Corporations since Xinren was the one who came to him for the investment and he could see the animosity between the two sisters. The Gu family must take sides with their daughter, Xingren, why would they go against him for an outsider?

" Step back"

He was startled upon hearing the domineering, cold voice which caused him to look up. 

He frowned at who dared to interfere in his matter and turned to see the source of the voice, to teach that person a lesson. However, his pupils widened in shock when he saw a familiar figure walking through the large entrance gate while buttoning up his formal suit, which made him even more handsome and charming. 

'Ha...Han Zihao?'

Han Zihao was someone that he always wanted to meet and make connections with to spread his business to the international market, however, he never got the chance to see him personally. 

He rarely attends business parties or dinner and has only seen his face and interviews in the business magazines. In the business world, no one can beat him and his vision for investments. 

Xu Nuan was also taken aback when she saw Han Zihao walking towards them. What is he doing here? Wasn't he abroad for the business trip, then how come he's here? She couldn't understand how he found out about the party when she didn't tell him anything.

Yang Jian stepped away from Xu Nuan as his mouth was left open in shock. He soon recovered from the state of shock and walked towards the man with heavy steps and tries to keep a professional smile on his face, " Mr. Han? You...What are you doing here? Did you also come to attend the party?" 

His hands turned sweaty as the only thought running in his head was, ' He didn't see what happened earlier right? If he had heard this girl's stupid words, then he might not agree to work with me.' 

This was the moment where he can convince him to launch his brand into the international market with him, and only this man can help him to do this since Han Corporation is not doing well domestically but internationally as well. 

And he doesn't want to let go of this opportunity because of this girl whom he can win anytime. 

He blocked Han Zihao's way and extended his hand to shake his hands, however, when he looked up he noticed him staring past him. He raised his brows in confusion and called him out in a low voice, " Mr. Han-

However, rather than shaking hands with him, Han Zihao walked past him and stood in front of Xu Nuan which left him baffled. 

How does he know her? Is he interested in this girl just like me? He wondered.

Xu Nuan stared at Han Zihao in daze and confusion, not understanding if she was hallucinating or what. However, she hasn't even drunk anything today other than juice, so she can't be drunk either. 

" What? Why are you here? Weren't you on a business trip?" she asked in confusion, leaving the people in the hall baffled and confused. 

Han Zihao's lips curled up in a smile seeing how she didn't mind so many eyes watching them and asked him a question without holding back her curiosity. However, a frown appeared on his forehead when he saw her dress. 

She was wearing an off-shoulder gown with a slit on her leg, revealing her smooth legs which caused his expressions to turn dark. He turned to Yang Jian who was staring at them in shock and the thought of him standing close to him came into his mind. 

He removed his coat and wrapped it around her shoulders without saying anything, leaving her in a confused state. " Wear this, it's cold outside."

"..."

She blinked in confusion the reason he gave her coat because it might be cold outside but it was warm inside the hall. However, she didn't remove his coat and let him do whatever he wants, for once. 

Yang Jian's mouth left open in shock, seeing Han Zihao's caring actions towards Xu Nuan. He gulped and asked hesitantly, " Mr. Han, perhaps, do you know Ms. Gu?" he asked, addressing Xu Nuan as Ms. Gu which left everyone shocked seeing his personality that he changed in a moment. 

Xu Nuan raised her brows seeing his tone suddenly changing and scoffed in surprise, " Hah!!"

Yang Jian pursed his lips in a thin line seeing the girl's attitude. This brat…

Han Zihao glanced at her and chuckled seeing her indifferent attitude towards the man. As expected, she never disappoints him to show her dislike to anyone on their face.

He clears his throat and turns to Yang Jian, he wraps a hand around Xu Nuan's shoulder and pulls her closer, " Of course I know her. How can I not know my woman?" He asked. 

Yang Jian's eyes widened in shock as he looked at Xu Nuan who looked similarly shocked and confused and looked at Han Zihao again. " Your..woman?"

He glared at Xingren who was standing beside Gu Zhang and looked shocked as much as him. He gritted his teeth and cursed the moment when he agreed to Xingren when she said that she will introduce her sister to him. 

Was she trying to destroy him from the start? 

" Mr. Han, you're joking with me, aren't you?" He tried to laugh it off, trying to make him reveal the real truth. 

" Are we close enough to joke with each other?" he asked, which made the man's expressions turn solemn. 

" She is my girlfriend." Han Zihao announced while staring at the man coldly. 

Yang Jian pursed his lips and all the things that he said to Xu Nuan earlier started to haunt him. Han Zihao's girlfriend? This bitch? Was it the reason why she was so proud earlier?

Xu Nuan who had her hands crossed in front of her chest and was looking at Yang Jian with cold expressions was taken back by Han Zihao's straightforward announcement c.u.m confession. 

Girlfriend? They have gone on a date but he hasn't proposed to her or has officially asked her out. Since when she became his girlfriend? 

She stared at him in confusion, not sure what she just heard was her delusion or truth. He isn't joking, is he? She wondered. 

'If he claimed it as a joke later, I will disown this man for forever.' she pursed her lips in a thin line, thinking about the possibility for him to make this kind of statement here.
