562 Right Now He Would Already Be a Dead Man

Lin Nuan hadn't forgotten that Qin Zhe had pointed a gun at Fu Huai'an.

Although she had never experienced combat camaraderie, she knew such feelings were significant in one's heart.

She was in a dilemma—on the one hand, she was worried about Fu Huai'an and didn't want him to go, but on the other, she feared that if she didn't let Fu Huai'an go and something happened to Qin Zhe, Fu Huai'an might feel guilty for life.

Finally, Lin Nuan let go of Fu Huai'an's hand and said to him, "When Tuan Tuan has had enough fun in Dubai, we'll return home!"

Lin Nuan felt that danger lurked everywhere overseas.

"We'll talk about it when I get back!" Fu Huai'an didn't agree to it immediately. He got up and squeezed Lin Nuan's petite hand. "Don't worry!"

Lin Nuan didn't nod, watching as Fu Huai'an left the house. Tuan Tuan's little hand tugged at Lin Nuan's sleeves as he looked up at the frowning and solemn Lin Nuan.

Not wanting to scare the kid, Lin Nuan smiled at Tuan Tuan, sitting down and accompanying him to eat. However, she felt as though she was chewing a candle.

Fu Huai'an received a call from his friend in Dubai, Mr. Du…

Fu Huai'an's private plane was surrounded and couldn't take off.

Coincidentally, the person surrounding Fu Huai'an's plane was that Mr. Du's childhood friend.

Seeing Fu Huai'an's assistant, Little Lu, Mr. Du's childhood friend, the native Arab Naseer, said that he wouldn't make things difficult for Little Lu, so long as he handed over the person on the plane.

Little Lu directly contacted Mr. Du's secretary. Mr. Du had personally called Naseer but didn't manage to persuade him, so he called Fu Huai'an and asked him if it was someone especially important on the plane; if not, he suggested handing that person over to Naseer.

Mr. Du felt irritated with Naseer, too; that fellow was always looking for trouble. All these years, Mr. Du had, on account of their lifelong friendship, cleaned up the messes created by Naseer on many occasions.

But they were in Arab territory; Mr. Du was, after all, an outsider despite growing up in that place, so his influence was certainly no match for Naseer's—Mr. Du emphasized this point to Fu Huai'an.

Once he was outside, Fu Huai'an returned Mr. Du's call, asking Mr. Du to protect Lin Nuan and Tuan Tuan no matter what; everything else, he would take care of himself.

Mr. Du very readily agreed.

Fu Huai'an had to save Qin Zhe. Under the prerequisite of ensuring Tuan Tuan and Lin Nuan's safety, he must protect Qin Zhe at all costs.

The sky had already darkened, so the large airport was illuminated by searchlights.

By the time Fu Huai'an got there, his private plane had already been surrounded.

That man clad in Arab clothes was standing face-to-face with Little Lu. There was a slight smile on Little Lu's lips, and he appeared respectful and courteous. However, he was blocking the way to the stairs of the plane, refusing to budge.

Fu Huai'an parked his car away from the crowd. Hearing the sound of the car door closing, Naseer turned his head.

Seeing Fu Huai'an's tall and broad figure, Naseer smiled and walked towards him, clearly not wishing to fall out with Fu Huai'an. He extended both hands to Fu Huai'an. "My friend, you're finally here!"

Naseer took a deep look at Little Lu and said to Fu Huai'an in a complaining tone, "Your assistant, I don't know if he doesn't understand my English, but he simply refuses to move away… he's too unreasonable! I don't wish to ruin the friendship between us two. I merely want the man hiding on your plane!"

Fu Huai'an stared at Naseer's large hand, which was patting his own arm. The jeweled ring on his hand was particularly attention-grabbing.

There was a mature and steady hint of a smile on Fu Huai'an's lips. His deep voice carried a powerful sense of credibility and didn't leave any room for negotiation. "Apologies, I cannot hand the man on the plane over to you. He's my friend…"

Naseer had anticipated that Fu Huai'an wouldn't easily hand over Qin Zhe. He made a "you and me" gesture and asked, "Is his friendship with you deeper than my friendship with you?"

"Right!" Fu Huai'an looked straight into Naseer's bewildered eyes as he said, "Me and him, it's just like you and Mr. Du…"

Naseer was surprised. He didn't expect that this matter would become so tricky and difficult to settle.

After thinking for a long while, Naseer decided to make a big concession. "I won't take his life. So long as he hands over what he stole from me, you may take him away! Fu… I really hope that we can cooperate in business in the future, so this is the biggest concession I can make, as well as the greatest show of sincerity from me. I hope you won't reject me again!"

"I understand the man on the plane. He would likely rather hand over his life than what you seek. Furthermore… what you seek is truly not with him anymore."

Naseer gazed at Fu Huai'an suspiciously, then quietly pressed a hand to the back of his waist, his gaze appearing cold.

"This man, I will send him back safely! Regardless of what it takes…"

Naseer suddenly pulled out a gun and pointed it at Fu Huai'an. Before any threatening words could come out of his mouth, Naseer was pulled into Fu Huai'an's arms in one swoop. Fu Huai'an grabbed the gun and pointed it at Naseer's temple.

Naseer's men immediately pulled out their guns and uniformly aimed them at Fu Huai'an.

Little Lu was so frightened that all color had drained from his face.

Naseer's body froze. Fu Huai'an lowered his voice and spoke in Naseer's ear, "Didn't Mr. Du tell you to never pull out your gun before me?"

From his peripheral vision, Naseer could see the clip sliding out of the gun. He was pushed away by Fu Huai'an whilst the clip smoothly landed in Fu Huai'an's palm.

Naseer knew that Fu Huai'an had no intention to kill him, but he still felt humiliated. He gritted his teeth and raised his hand, signaling for his men to lower their guns.

Mr. Du had indeed reminded him over the phone earlier, but Naseer couldn't resist. This was his territory, so how could he let a foreigner bully him?

But seeing Fu Huai'an's smooth moves, Naseer more or less felt fearful.

If Fu Huai'an truly wanted to claim his life earlier, right now, he would already be a dead man.

Fu Huai'an handed the gun and the clip to Naseer. "That man, I have to take him away today!"

Naseer looked at the gun in Fu Huai'an's hand. "You're but one person… while I have so many men with me!"

"Wanna try?" Fu Huai'an narrowed his eyes.

A searchlight swept over Fu Huai'an's well-defined and deep-set features, causing one's hair to rise.

Naseer recalled what Mr. Du told him about not messing with Fu Huai'an, and he had his hesitations…

Fu Huai'an raised his leg and edged closer to Naseer. He whispered a few words extremely softly in Naseer's ear, which caused Naseer's expression to change greatly. Following that, he took his gun from Fu Huai'an's hand and left with his men.

The tall and broad Fu Huai'an stood there with his hands in his pockets, watching as Naseer's men left. The night breeze gently rustled his jet-black hair. In his ears was the loud noise of a plane taking off in the distance.

Little Lu came running down the stairs of the plane, exclaiming to Fu Huai'an in a panicky voice, "Sir! That friend of yours has gone missing! Just now… just now, he was still on the plane. But when I went up, I discovered…"

"I know!" Fu Huai'an cut off Little Lu's anxious voice, sounding unbelievably calm.
