Chapter 543 - Ashlyn could you send this dear friend to the Underworld

The Yellow snakeman came out of the trees while the other Grimm monster who is hiding in the tree stayed there.

I could understand why it did not come out, it is a little stronger than the Tigerman but the difference between them is not that great, it clearly knew that if it came out it will surely be killed but I am not one who showed mercy on those who have killing intent toward me, especially the Grimm race monsters.

"Ashlyn go sends our that still hiding in the trees to the underworld," I said to Ashlyn while I activated my Occult method to face the Yellow Snakemen that is coming toward me.

This Yellow Snakeman is very strong and Swirling Armor is not enough, I will have to occult method and every other strength I have to fight with it and even then I am not sure I will be able to defeat it.

Ahhh Thud!

As this Yellow snakemen just crossing the distance, we heard the screaming for a moment before screaming abruptly stopped and next second ahlyn came out of woods.

It took Ashlyn barely five seconds to that Grimm monster that is hiding behind the tree.

Yellow snakeman which had been slowly coming toward me stopped seeing Ashlyn came out of the wood but next moment it suddenly took a leap and swung its sword at me with the blurring speed.

This snake is quite crafty, it had acted like it had been surprised by seeing Ashlyn quickly kill its companion before it abruptly leaped at me with the blurring speed.

If there had been any other person, he would have definitely would have fallen to this simple but clever ploy but it was its back that it had met me, who could sense the killing intent.

Seeing its sword coming at me, I also swung my sword at it with full power.

Clang! 

Thud thud thud

Our swords clashed and I felt immense force permitting toward me, most of that force crushed by the swirling armor but some of it went inside me, I had to mobilize my rule powers and Occult energy to crush the force and the Occult energy came from the enemy.

I still have to take the three-step back to dissolve the residue force in my body. 

"You are stronger than I had expected but you are still going to die!" said the snakeman as came at me with the attack that is stronger than before.

I want to reply with something witty but its attack is so fast that it will arrive in front of me before I could form half the world.

Clang!

Thud Thud….

Its thin blade slashed across me but I had defended with my sword and like last time, this time also I took the steps back.

Clang Clang Clang Clang…

It launched one attack after another, not wanting to give me any chance to live. Its every move angled toward either my neck or my heart, it is hell-bent on killing me as quickly as possible.

Its attack is fast and swift that all I could do is to defend and that is also barely, I had a way to underestimated it, this Grimm monster is very powerful especially with that speed of it.

It had the power to even slay a stronger opponent than it is fighting if I do not have the killing rule which gave me an inkling of where the attack is coming from, I wouldn't be here fighting but lying on the ground with either my heart pierced or neck cut.

Time passed and half an hour had passed and my condition had not changed even a bit if it had been another Grimm monster with similar power with strength specialization or all-rounder, my condition wouldn't be this bad.

Here I can sense from where its attacks are coming and could even the flaws in its attack but I can't do anything about it as I do not have the speed to launch those attacks.

If I were to do that then I would pay a price which I did a few minuits ago and that is why I am just focusing on defending.

One would think that I am having a hard time and would have been feeling quite angry since I am only defending but no they would be quite wrong.

I am actually enjoying the battle as I am learning many from it, this is a perfect opponent for me as it is also focused on speed, I could clearly see what a pure speed can do which helping decide the direction of my future progress.

Another half an hour passed and my condition remains about the same, the only change occurred that I can now read its movements more clear but like earlier I am too slow to use any flaw against it.

Suddenly I felt the spike of killing intent from it and before I could dodge, It had released the faint yellow poison fog on me, I wanted to dodge it but I couldnt as it came to fast and the snake did not stop attacking with the sword when it had released the poison through its mouth.

The poison quickly surround me and started to get deeper into me, I could feel the immense pain that poison is giving but that is all, to others this poison is extremly dangerous but to me not so.

My body had merged with the essence poison of the Ominous Ghost Tooth Flower which had given me quite an immunity against the poison, so normal poisons couldnt hurt me, if it had been its essence poison then it would have been a completly different thing.

The essence poison of the Yellow Snakeman tribe is very dangerous and my slight poison immunity would be nothing especially when the poison is from the Brigadier stage Yellow Snakemen.

"How are you still fine?" asked Yellow snakeman in horror as even those with similar level and power as it would be writhing in the pain if they got hit by its poison squarely.

"Your poison is too weak to harm me, only your essence poison would able to do something to me," I said as I launched the attack in the rare chance I got but of course it was easily defended by it.

An hour more passed and in the hour it had launched its poison five times more but except for giving me pain, they are not able to do anything to me.

"Consider yourself lucky this time, next time we met you will not be lucky at this time." It said suddenly and started to walk into the woods as it did not believe, I will attack it from behind or even if I did, it is confident to defend against it.

"Sorry my friend there will be no next time, Ashlyn could you send this dear friend to the underworld," I said to Ashlyn.

Hearing that the Yellow snakeman stopped and looked back, nine big fireballs shrinking at a visible speed.

Bang Bang Bang….

Sensing the aura from fireballs, a clear shudder went through the Grimm monsters body and it started to run with its all but sadly it too late.
