Chapter 35 - Nightmare

Guangzhou, South China.

"How can he be free so soon, heh?" Mr. Zhang did not accept what Manager Huo just said.

Manager Huo told me that Mrs. Wang had been released from prison. It was Lord Zhng's wife who had harmed Sifeng and Yushen. Madam Wang had several people kill the real Zhang Sifeng, Yushen. But don't know why, Sifeng was stabbed instead of Yushen.

Even so, both of them are the children of Master Zhang. So, Master Zhang couldn't let his wife act as she pleased. Mr. Zhang did not accept if one of his children from another woman, was harmed by his own legal wife.

Master Zhang still clearly remembers how Madam Wang contrived a big conspiracy.

Madam Wang exchanged Xiao Yushen, Master Zhang's biological son, for the son that Madam Wang found.

However, Master Zhang was grateful that the son turned out to be his biological son as well. A very fortunate coincidence.

Mr. Zhang had 2 sons by different women, before marrying a widow named Wang Jia Li. Mrs. Wang has 1 daughter named Xie Lian Ji.

"The police said the evidence was not incriminating, Sir," continued Manager Huo. There was still a look of tension on his face.

"Immediately send spies to find A-Shen and A-Feng's whereabouts. I believe that Jia Li's first targets after getting out of prison were my two sons. She is a snake woman. In fact, she once harmed A-Feng before my eyes."

A 10 year old child is playing with his toy robot.

The lightning strike scared the boy. The boy ran into a room. The room was dark, the only light coming from a table lamp.

The boy entered slowly.

"Mama, I'm afraid of lightning. Mama! Mama! Where are you?"

Braak!!

The door to the room closed with a bang. A woman approached the boy.

"If you're scared, just sleep, Son! Let me help you sleep forever!"

The voice was very low but sounded threatening. The boy couldn't see the figure behind him, the room was quite dark.

Suddenly a pair of hands stroked the boy's cheek. He was really comfortable. However, the pair of hands were now wrapped around the boy's neck. The hand gripped the boy's neck tightly.

It was so tight that it made the boy suffocate. Cold sweat dripped down the boy's body.

The boy wanted to scream for help, but his voice was always stuck in his throat. He tried to release the arms that were wrapped around his neck, but the force of the choking grew stronger. The boy's hand was getting weaker.

The boy heard the female figure say,

"You're not my son, nor are you my husband's son! Why should I bother taking care of you, huh?! Just get off the face of this earth!"

The boy was still struggling, until a few moments later, he could no longer fight back. His breath was heavy, the once dimly lit room was now dark.

"HELP!"

Zhang Sifeng woke up in a panic. Sifeng's breath roared. Cold sweat ran down his body. Again, Sifeng had the same dream. Sifeng dreams of his scary childhood memories. When there is a mysterious woman who always wants to kill Sifeng.

Yushen who heard Sifeng's shout immediately approached his brother.

"A-Feng? Why are you shouting? What happened?" Yushen asked, panicking. Yushen wiped the sweat off his sister's forehead.

Sifeng was still silent. He wasn't fully awake yet. The nightmare earlier seemed so real, that it made Sifeng still afraid at this time. Sifeng was still trying to steady his breathing. He did this over and over again until he fully regained consciousness.

"Zhang Sifeng, look at me! Calm down! You'll be safe with me, A-Feng!"

Yushen cupped Sifeng's cheeks, and turned Sifeng's face towards him. So far, this was the only way to calm Sifeng, who was often traumatized.

It's also possible that Yushen had studied hypnosis or something somewhere before.

Sifeng must have calmed down immediately when he looked into his big brother's black eyes.

Yushen Gege Sifeng said. His voice was stuttering from his ragged breaths.

Yushen leaned Sifeng's head on his broad shoulders. Yushen gently stroked his sister's hair. Yushen really did not expect that his younger brother's life had been so hard. However, Yushen was the one who had contributed to Sifeng's suffering these past few years.

"Calm down, A-Feng! No one will be able to eliminate you as long as I'm still here. Your brother, Zhang Yushen, will always take care of you, A-Feng. Trust me!"

Yushen let Sifeng lean on his shoulder. It was long enough for Sifeng to calm down.

Yushen saw his sister's face. Sifeng's face looked so pale. "Are you alright, A-Feng?"

"I don't know, Yu Ge. My head feels really dizzy. My stomach feels really nauseous too." Sifeng complained. He kept holding his stomach.

Zhang Yushen suddenly hit Sifeng on the back of the head, causing Sifeng to stare in disbelief. In fact, Sifeng had already felt very comfortable on his brother's shoulder. But, again Yushen bullied him. Same as usual.

"Zhang Yushen! What are you doing, huh?! Why do you keep beating me? I told you my head is still spinning, Lao Yu!" Sifeng shouted, annoyed.

"Stupid! Stupid! Why did you drink up to 15 glasses of alcohol from this God's World, huh?! Now, look at the consequences for being reckless! I'm not your nanny, Zhang Yushen! You should be able to take care of yourself! limit you can drink!" Yushen snapped.

"Hehehe...sorry, Yushen Ge! I can't control myself. The taste of the drinks here is really weird, and I like weirdness. Hahaha...." Sifeng said with a laugh. Sifeng seemed to have forgotten the pain earlier.

"You are indeed born to be a strange person, Sifeng! You are the stupidest and strangest person I have ever met, A-Feng!" said Yushen, half shouting. Yushen's shout just now made Sifeng laugh out loud.

Yushen once again hit the back of his brother's head.

"Stupid!!" Yushen snapped once again. However, even though Yushen looked angry, he hid his smile.

Yushen was happy that his sister was slowly forgetting Sifeng's nightmare earlier. Sifeng looks fine at the moment.

Princess Sharon meets Gil in Gil's room.

"Gil, I want to talk to you!" Princess Sharon said as she entered Gil's room without permission. Sharon and Gil are close relatives. They are cousins. They have also been friends since childhood.

"What's the matter, Sharon?"

"Gilbert Greyrat, my dear brother. I do not like the presence of strangers in my palace. Immediately return them to their realms!" said Sharon, softly. However, full emphasis.

Gil smiled faintly. Gil couldn't understand why Sharon was so disturbed by Yushen and Sifeng's presence.

"What's the matter, my good brother? Are you interested in any of those humans, um?" Gil teased.

"No, I just don't like having strangers in my palace. I feel uncomfortable," said Sharon as she turned her back to Gil

"Hahaha... you're so funny, Sharon. Say you don't like it, but I caught something strange about you. You want them to quickly get out of here to cover up your feelings, don't you?"

Gil tried to guess as he folded his arms across his chest.

"Ah you silly, Gil! How could a beautiful mermaid like me be attracted to mortals, huh?"

Sharon ran outside leaving Gil with questions. Gil could only guess what his cousin meant.

Vin had finished his bath. As fast as lightning, Vin has turned back into the handsome Prince Vin.

Vin's silver hair is long. His blue eyes looked down. No wonder Gil always thought that his sister was prettier than a princess though.

"Vincent!" A voice startled Vin, who was adjusting his clothes.

"Father! What's wrong? Why do you look so worried?"

"My son, there is chaos in the Black God Mountain. Father must return there immediately. You take good care of yourself, will you?" said Lord Jack as he brushed his son's silver hair.

"But why so suddenly? I still miss you, Father." Vin said while hugging his father.

"Calm down, Vin! Aren't Gilbert and the others still here? If the situation there improves, you may take Yushen to our Heavenly Palace," persuaded Lord Jack.

"Okay, Dad. But, if you need help, your son is ready to help," said Vin, patting his chest. Vin bragged.

"Hahaha... well my dear brave prince. Take care of your mother too! Your mother still wants to live with her two handsome sons." Lord Jack is speaking again

"Okay, Dad. I love you very much, Dad." Vin said and now tightened his hug on Lord Jack's burly body.

Lord Jack kissed Vin's forehead in return.

Sifeng walked unsteadily down the hall of the Mermaid Kingdom's palace.

In fact, Sifeng's head still felt dizzy. Sifeng also felt that his stomach was still queasy. Not knowing why, Yushen had the heart to leave Sifeng alone.

Sifeng passed several rooms in this Mermaid Palace. Suddenly from one of the rooms, a beautiful girl appeared. The girl ran and didn't notice Sifeng's whereabouts.

They collided and fell at the same time.
