Chapter 29 - Shadows From The Past

Inside the hotel room.

Gil pointed his hands at Sifeng's body. Simultaneously, Sifeng's body was lifted in the air and moved onto the bed with Gil's spiritual power.

Gil managed to move Sifeng's body onto the bed by simply swinging his arms in the air. This was indeed one of the abilities of the Greyrat Family.

Yushen and Vin went straight into the room, when Sifeng's body had been successfully moved from behind the door.

Gil touched Zhang Sifeng's forehead with his 2 fingers. A moment later, Sifeng came to his senses.

"Gil, you better take Vin to rest! You've got your keys, haven't you? Besides, it looks like Sifeng is fine. Thanks for all your help!" Zhang Yushen bowed to Gil and Vin.

"You're like anyone else, Yushen. All right, we're in the next room." Gil and Vin walked away, leaving Zhang Sifeng's room.

Currently, only Yushen and Sifeng were in the space of this room.

Yushen sat on the edge of his sister's bed. He touched his brother's forehead and felt Sifeng's body heat up.

"A-Feng, are you alright? But, you have a fever, A-Feng. Do you need to call a doctor?" Yushen asked his brother.

Zhang Sifeng was silent.

The 22 year old youth's gaze was blank. Sifeng looked around the corner of the room, as if something caught his eye.

Well, the figure of Xiuxiu appeared in Sifeng's imagination. Xiuxiu's face was very gentle. The beautiful woman gripped Sifeng's hand tightly.

"Are you sick? Where does it hurt, honey?" Xiuxiu rubbed Sifeng's forehead.

Sifeng nodded slowly. "I want to be in your world, Xiuxiu. I'm tired. Please take me with you! This world is so cruel to me."

Yushen suddenly slapped Sifeng on the cheek. In that instant, Xiuxiu's figure disappeared from Sifeng's sight. All of that was just Sifeng's imagination who missed Xiuxiu so much, the woman Sifeng loved so much. However, the woman died because of Sifeng.

Sifeng rubbed his reddened cheeks, the former Yushen's slap so hard, earlier. Sifeng looked disapprovingly at Yushen.

Haven't they made up? Then, what was the reason his brother was persecuting Sifeng again? Sifeng said to himself.

"What were you delirious about earlier, A-Feng? What do you mean you want Xiu Jie to take you, huh?! Do you want to die or something?!" Yushen snapped, curtly.

Sifengg was just speechless being yelled at by Yushen. Sifeng's tears rolled down his cheeks.

Silence for a moment. The atmosphere in the room was shrouded in awkwardness.

"Look at me, A-Feng!" Yushen held both of Sifeng's cheeks. "Remember this! Your current world is the world you see. The same world that I saw. So, don't even think about disappearing from this world and being in Jie Xiu's world. That older sister of mine is dead. And that's because of you, Zhang Sifeng!"

"Right! I was indeed the cause of Xiuxiu's death. Then, why now, Zhang Yushen? Do you still want to kill me? If so, now is the time!"

Yushen slapped Yushen on the cheek again. Yushen tugged on Sifeng's collar.

"I actually wanted to kill you, Sifeng! But before he died, Xiu Jie ordered not to hurt you! She also told me to make sure that you live well, Zhang Sifeng!"

"Do you remember when I got shot, A-Feng?" Yushen sat on the edge of Sifeng's bed.

Now it was Sifeng's turn to be curious about Yushen's next story. Sifeng got up and sat down next to Yushen.

"Why really, Yu Ge?"

"At that time, it felt like I had been freed from my burden. But, fate said otherwise, fate brought me back to the world I wanted to destroy."

"So you're sorry that I saved you, huh?" Sifeng said.

"It's not like that, you idiot! At least, I value my current life more than you do!" Yushen gently pushed Sifeng's arm.

"But, that guilt always haunts me, Yu Ge," Sifeng said as he looked at the hotel window.

"Two years have passed. Xiu Jiejie has also calmed down in the world of samam. Please don't waste your life! Stay alive for us, for me and for your father and the rest of your family!"

Sifeng was pensive thinking about his brother's words. Sifeng finally hugged Yushen tightly.

I'm sorry, Yu Gege! I always make you and dad worry."

"Never mind, forget it! Now take your medicine and go back to rest!"

Sifeng nodded slowly.

In room 05, Gil and Vin change into the clothes that have been provided for them. They don't want to go to parties anymore. According to them, the party was really boring.

Vin took a glass of water. He poured it into his hand. Vin blows the water. Immediately, the water turned into cherry blossoms, which flew all over the room.

"Gil Brother, I miss playing on Sakura Slope where we come from," Vin said, still blowing the water in his hand.

Gil approached Vin. "Do you want to go home now, Vin?"

Win nodded slowly.

"But, Gil Brother! I still can't understand why King Feuer wants me so much?"

"The king of the Fotia Kingdom really wants to seize your energy by force, Vin. And you must know, if the energy of a god is taken by force, then the god will die," said Gil.
