Chapter 12 - Trapped In The Forest

Yushen still controlled the speed of the car, occasionally observing their surroundings.

Sifeng had fallen asleep in the back seat. It had been several hours of travel, but they had not yet come out of this wilderness. Yes, it was already dark. The atmosphere was getting tenser when strange voices sounded so loud.

"Yushen, are we at the apartment yet?" Sifeng woke up and looked around.

"Relax, Sifeng! We're still on our way."

Yushen hid the panic from his little brother. Yushen didn't want Sifeng to be worried either.

After looking around, Sifeng started to realize something.

"Gosh! We're still in this place? How could this be? Just what you were doing earlier, Yushen? So, we were just wandering around in this forest? Is this a vacation, huh?"

Sifeng's screams continued to irritate Yishen's ears. Until Yushen couldn't contain his anger and threw the lighter until it landed right in Sifeng's mouth.

Yushen learned this trick when Yushen was a stuntman. Yes, throwing objects right at the target.

"Shut up Idiot!! Calm down! I'm panicking right now too! I've been driving for a long time, but I always go back to where we stopped earlier. Can't you understand, Sifeng?"

Yushen was getting angry. If it's like this, Sifeng's better off sleeping until tomorrow, Yushen thought to himself.

"I'm sorry, Gege!"

Sifeng put on an innocent face, so that Yushen couldn't bear to be angry anymore, but still Yushen finally hit his brother on the head.

It was difficult for Yushen to break that habit. It wasn't the intention to hurt him, it was just that Yushen was furious at his sister.

"Aarrggh, you hurt me, Yushen! I thought you had changed, turned into a sweet big brother. But the truth is, you're still as cruel as ever, Yushen!" Sifeng shouted, annoyed. Sifeng was reminded of how Yushen hated Sifeng back then.

"You forced me to be cruel! Don't let my cruelty return!"

Sifeng was silent and tilted his head back on the chair.

He seemed offended. Ah well, at least it will come back later, thought Yushen.

"You know who hurt you earlier, Sifeng?" Yushen tried to start a conversation.

"Hmm," Sifeng replied, lazily.

"It looks like the man has magic."

"Yes," Sifeng replied, still cold.

"I saw him pointing his finger at you, and at the same time your temperature changed drastically. So cold as ice."

"Hmm."

What answer is that? Yes, hmm, yes, hmm?

Yushen started to get angry with Sifeng, and stopped the car suddenly.

"Arrghh!!"

Sifeng, who had been sleeping in the back seat, fell to the ground in an instant.

Yushen felt like laughing really hard. Yes, at least Sifeng can realize his mistake.

Sifeng's head hit the car seat in front of him. Indeed, sometimes the child needs to be taught a lesson. All this time Yushen had spoiled him too much.

"Yushen, what's wrong with you? You want to kill me once again, huh?" Sifeng got up and was still holding his reddened forehead.

Yushen just smiled faintly.

"I told you, don't play with me!"

"Oh crap, I should have known from the start that you still wanted to kill me, right? Hey, answer!" Sifeng was still nagging.

However, Yushen's gaze fell on a white shadow. Yushen watched carefully.

Yes, it was the two men. They were still behind the rocks.

How could it be? Yushen had been driving the car all this time, but he kept coming back to where he was.

"Yushen, did I hear me?"

"Shhh, shut up, you idiot! Watch that!" Yushen pointed at the two men who were near the boulder.

"They? Didn't we leave them where we were?" Sifeng asked.

"Yeah, it looks like they're playing us, Sifeng. I've been just wandering around in this forest, it must have been their doing."

"How could it be?" Sifeng couldn't believe it.

"It's possible. They could even freeze your body earlier, Sifeng."

"Let's go down and meet them!" Yushen took his sister.

"Hahaha you're out of your mind, Yushen. You want them to kill me, huh?" Sifeng was scared.

"Okay, I'll go to them."

Yushen decided.

"But...but...." Sifeng was confused. He wanted to arrest his brother.

"Never mind! You stay in the car, Sifeng!"

Yushen left Sifeng and walked over to the two mysterious men.

It's quite dark. Luckily Yushen brought a flashlight.
